Sariaya is comprised of 43 barangays; of which, six (6) are urban barangays which are located in the Poblacion, while the rest of the 37 barangays are rural barangays. Based on the PSA Census of 2015, Sariaya has a total population of 148,980 or 34,592 households. Barangay Sampaloc Santo Cristo has the highest population with a total of 8,054; while Barangay Sampaloc Bogon has the least population with a total of 907.
The urban area or the “Poblacion” consisting of six (6) barangays, had a total population of 10,138 or 6.80% of the municipal population, while the rural area with 37 barangays had 138,842 persons, or 93.20% of the total population. Among the barangays in the urban area, Poblacion 4 has the highest population with a total of 3,386 persons. On the other hand, the thickly populated barangays in the rural areas were Sampaloc Santo Cristo, Manggalang 1, Concepcion Palasan, Castañas, Sampaloc 2 and Mamala II.

The southern portion of the municipality of Sariaya particularly those along the coastal areas lie on flat terrain with almost sea elevation. The terrain becomes rolling northwards reaching elevations of 200 meters above sea level elevation. The northeasthern sections of the municipality particularly those leading toward Mt. Banahaw are dominated by hilly to mountain areas reaching an elevation of 1,800 meters asl.
Sariaya (Guis-Guis Beach Resort) is the best perfect getaway from bustling city very affordable and it is a public resort it welcomes everyone who loves to escape into their random lifes it is fun to refresh minds and just enjoy your holidays in the exotic beaches. Just 2.5 hours drive away from the crowded city, the resort should not be missed in Quezon province adventures. An exotic (virgin) beaches awaits you. There are rental boats, affordable cottages, people selling meryenda or snacks at all time and no entrance fees.

Monte Vista Beach Resort in Sariaya is a 30-hectare resort with a long line of beach front, kiddie pool and pool for adults, a huge park for children and adults and more! It is one of the most beautiful resorts and beaches in Quezon Province. It is just 3 hours from Metro Manila. Perfect for small and large groups, day tours and overnight tours, seminars, conferences, family outing, company outing and team building, special occasions, barkada getaway, and photoshoots.
They have three VIP nipa hut style cottages, function halls, bungalow type of accommodation, family house, and regular nipa huts. Each room in every cottage has a private toilet with heater, except the regular nipa huts which have common toilets. They have 2 basketball courts, a volleyball area, and a billiard hall.
Inside the resort's premise is the New Sim Academy, a ship-like structure where aspiring seafarers hold their training.
