???????? SANTOS, SÃO PAULO, Brazil - Today for episode 6 of my 2022 Brazil Travel series, we're visiting one of Brazil's lesser-known beach cities - Santos! The home of coffee, football legend Pelé and Scottish streetcars!
There are lots of things to do or activities in Santos to keep you occupied, such as the Monte Serrat funicular, awesome views, the coffee museum, Pelé museum and much more. It's the most pretty city to be honest, and from what I saw the beaches aren't spectacular, but it's still a welcome break from more commonly visited beaches in Rio. There's some great architecture and history though, especially if you're interested in the brazilian coffee trade or you are a football fan! If you're thinking about where to go in Brazil, Santos could be a good idea for your Brazil itinerary!

• Ibirapuera Park is the most visited park in South America and has been voted one of the top 10 urban parks in the world. Ibirapuera Park Sao Paulo is a beautiful park with lake, bike trails, running tracks, some museums and galleries. One of the best in Sao Paulo sightseeing.
• SAo Paulo Municipal Market is a large public market in a historical building. Sao Paulo Municipal Market is a nice place to have lunch and enjoy the famous mortadella sandwich.
• You should visit Sao Paulo Paulista Avenue on Sunday, when the street is closed to traffic and becomes an entertainment district with live music, street artists, food and drinks.
• SAo Paulo Municipal Theater, which is a beautiful architectural structure, is one of the symbols of the city. Online reservation is required for free guided tours. One of Sao Paulo must see place.
• The terrace of the Italian Building in Sao Paulo offers spectacular panoramic views of the city. Nice place to for best things to see in Sao Paulo
• Batman Alley is a perfect place for street art lovers. Definitely worth visiting Batman Alley in Sao Paulo.

BEST BEACHES IN BRAZIL | Arraial Do Cabo (most tourists don't go here)
Think like a local and go to Arraial do Cabo for the most spectacular beaches in Brazil! Referred to as the 'Brazilian Caribbean', get ready for crystal clear water, white sand beaches and a much more laid back vibe than you'll find in Rio or even Buzios. It is definitely worth a visit if you want to go off the tourist beaten track in Brazil and make friends with the locals. I had an amazing time!

1. Don't expect to get anywhere quickly in Sao Paulo. With so many people, cars and craziness it will take you longer than what google says it will to get anywhere.
2. Don't skip the Mercado Municipal! This Sao Paulo tradition is amazing. From amazing fruit to the best bologna or sorry Mortadella sandwich you ever ate.
3. Don't skip out on eating non-Brazilian food while in Sao Paulo. There are tons of amazing places, foods, restaurants and styles for you to enjoy!
4. Don't lose your wits. Pay attention! Sao Paulo has a reputation for crime for a reason.
5. Don't expect a beach vacation. Sao Paulo is not a Brazilian beach city, it is a cultural, shopping, museum, business hub for South America.

We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.
We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.
We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.
Travel Plug that works in pretty much any country & has four USB ports. A must for any traveler.

Travelling Santos in São Paulo state with locals | Backpacking Brazil
Some of our really good Brazilian friends; Gustavo and Juliana who live in São Paulo city took us to their beach home town of SANTOS! We absolutely loved the vibe of this place, beaches, sun, history, football, paragliding and great food… what more could you want?! We stayed for New Years Eve with their family and never wanted to leave! In this video we explore their sea port and coffee history, Nick gets signed to the local Santos team and we watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks to celebrate the start of 2019!
