Sugba Lagoon & Santa Monica Siargao

On Siargao Island we check out Sugba Lagoon Del Carmen like the locals and go when its really busy. I eat Filipino cuisine with bags on my hands and fly a drone. After that we stop at Santa Monica, its raining so we hang out in a local store eating raw fish.

LOS ANGELES: top tourist spots + 1 day in Disneyland ????????| Philippines

We visited the top tourist spots by Google in Los Angeles, California! The Hollywood Walk of Fame was disappointing :(

Went to Los Angeles for Disneyland and took a side trip to popular destinations in LA like Hollywood Boulevard, Griffith Observatory, Santa Monica Pier, and more. We also took an 8-hour back and forth road trip to Las Vegas to see Ed Sheeran but the concert was unfortunately postponed to a later date due to some technicalities.

We had so much fun at Disneyland. We booked the 1-day park hopper on Klook and were able to ride 12 rides within a day! Our secret? Genie Plus and Lightning Lane!!

Hope you enjoyed my video :)

Fill Your Query For Your Favourite Destinations:

For Europe Tour:
For Switzerland Tour:
For Dubai - All Stunning Places:
For Singapore Tour:

So let’s begin!
Palm Springs

In less than two hours, you can reach this picturesque popular desert getaway for almost 100 years. Rich with its golf courses and resorts, it is the best weekend getaway for people who want a calm and relaxing weekend. Palm Springs is home to the largest collection of intact mid-century modern buildings in the world. This Friday, these walking tours are waiting for you!

Santa Barbara

With less than a 100-mile drive is Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbara is a stunning seaside city. In this little beach haven, the downtown is where real buzz happens.

With beautiful beach walks and hillside mansions, Santa Barbara has more of a South of France aura and hence also called the American Riviera.
A must-visit is the city's, Funk Zone.

Rosarito Beach

For an authentic Mexican weekend getaway take a drive down to Rosarito Beach. It takes only about three hours from Los Angeles by car.

You can take a detour to Baja Studios, where they filmed Titanic. We advise you to park your car on the US side of the border walk across into Mexico, and take a taxi or request a rideshare car.

Most rental car policies prohibit taking the car into Mexico, and most American auto insurance policies do not apply here.

Rosarito Beach attracts a lot of LA people throughout the year.

Catalina Island
This island is probably the nearest weekend getaway with only 26 miles off the Los Angeles coast. You can take a 90 minute Catalina Express ferry ride from the mainland.

Sea kayaking off the shore among whales and sea otters is extremely relaxing for adventure lovers.

Laguna Beach

This is my personal favorite!
This seaside city in Orange County is known for its arts scene, its outdoor lifestyle, and breathtakingly beautiful beaches.

Laguna Beach offers something for everyone.

The surrounding area is a great place to visit for a weekend getaway anytime with a host of excellent restaurants and art galleries. The beach also boasts sunny weather for 300-plus days a year.

Number Six is Mammoth Mountains

Mammoth offers mammoth opportunities to chill during a weekend. Mammoth Mountain and surrounding lakes are natural wonders in the Western US. Mammoth is just a five0hour drive from Los Angeles. Along the way you will notice how the scenery changes once you reach the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Mammoth Lakes are the ideal camping, hiking, mountain biking, and other outdoor adventure sports destination. The lakes and streams are just perfect for fishing. You can fly to Mammoth Yosemite Airport (MMH) from Los Angeles (LAX)!

Number Seven: San Diego

This is one of the favorite weekend getaways for Los Angles people. With just three hours behind the wheel, you arrive at this sun-kissed destination.

The new downtown area, especially the revitalized Gaslamp District, has nurtured a thriving restaurant hub with some great music venues, and many interesting retail stores.

Moreover, San Diego Zoo is just an idyllic place for zoo lovers. It’s a hot favorite among family attractions. The animals here live in their natural habitat and feel at home.

You must visit the small beach town of Pacific Beach next to La Jolla if you are looking for a laidback homestay.

If you are a surf lover, this is the place for you.

Number Eight is Joshua

In just three hours from you say goodbye to the Misty Smoggy skies of Los Angeles and fall in love with the stars yet again.

The little town of Joshua Tree, located just outside the park, is filled with hippie stores, natural healers, and roadside diners.

Ninth is Morro Bay

With just a little more than three hours by car from Los Angeles, Morro Bay is a small, quaint beachside town with a wide, curving bay and beach.
The small town is ideal for a calm and pleasant weekend getaway.

And Last but Not the Least at all is Monterey
With a five-hour drive from Los Angeles, Monterey boasts of bustling city life at the bay.

Monterey has loads to offer as a weekend getaway. You can rent kayaks, ride bikes, go whale-watching, and tide-pooling as you explore this coastal paradise.

Siargao Philippines Ultimate Island Tour

Welcome to Siargao Island! It’s probably the most fun I’ve had in the Philippines! There is such a diversity of things to do and see, and well there is also surfing which is a big plus for me.

In this video I take you through some of the highlights that you need to see. Some of which didn’t quite make the cut for this quick paced edit, but are amazing to see and you have to put them on the list. As for timeframe of your travels, Id say book anywhere from 4 days to 2 weeks as there is so much to do and see here!

Follow @MichaelMakesFilms on Instagram for daily travel adventure

First off, I got my homestay in General Luna ($10/night), it was a great base with lots of restaurants and wifi. Cloud 9 is a quick drive away, and many of the island hopping tours start from General Luna.

Magpupungko rock pools were amazing. You have to make sure you go at low tide, and if you want to have it to yourself you have to go near sunrise. The afternoon low tide is packed!

Alegria beach was amazing for those who just want to spend a day relaxing on a picture perfect beach. Because it is almost a two hour scooter ride from General Luna not many tourists go there. So if you are a fan of relaxing beaches you will have it to yourself

.Santa Monica Pier is a location that didn’t make the video, but its a great spot to take in the sunset and a cute little town.

Coconut Palm forests. The island is covered in them, when you get the change get off that scooter and just go explore.

Secret Beach- It’s a hidden beach near the southern coast of Siargao, not many tourists go there and you can enjoy some surfing time with the locals. Just type secret beach on google maps and it will take you there. Its a bit hard finding the start of the 10 min walk to the beach, so when you’re near the spot just ask a local for directions.

Sohoton cove was absolutely incredible IF you do enjoy a full day on the water, cliff jumping (small) and seeing new things. I think its the best island hopping tour I’ve done in the Philippines.

3 island tour (Naked, Daku, Guyam) For me if you’ve never done an island hopping tour its incredible. If you have however they are a bit too touristy and not much to do. Instead spend your time exploring all of the incredible things inland :)

Del Carmen, this is a small town with access to Sugba Lagoon. The lagoon is a great half day trip that involves an hour boat ride through an incredible mangrove ecosystem. I recommend finishing up at the lagoon near sunset so you have the most beautiful reflections on the boat ride home.

Overall Siargao is incredible and I’d definitely like to go back. If you have any questions, please post them in the comments below, and share this video to show people how great Siargao is!

We share fun travel stories, travel tips, entertaining travel vlogs of the places we have been, and other info to help make your future trips awesome. The Disney parks are a favorite place of ours, along with anywhere tropical. We want to travel all over the world though, so you'll see many different types of destinations here. We especially love ecotourism and being adventurous in nature. Saving money and cutting costs where we can, while still doing everything we want to do, is another passion of ours.
