We sleep in Soufrière, visit the Diamond Waterfalls, hike the Tet Paul Nature Trail and visit the beaches Anse Chastanet, Sugar Beach and Jalousie Plantation Beach. From the west, we drive our small jeep through the rainforest to the south and east, before relaxing at an all-inclusive resort in the north.
This year we travel all over the world and after the Canary Islands, Oman, Cape Verde and Martinique, Saint Lucia is our fifth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in the Caribbean and then to many more beautiful destinations! We travel non-stop all year round and film everything. Sitting at the westernmost tip of the Algarve, Sagres is the wildest and most untamed destination. Windswept, barren landscapes, towering cliffs, and rough waters are what set this place apart.

Visit the Portimão museum if you want to learn more about its fishing and canning tradition, or go to the medieval Fort of Santa Catarina de Ribamar for panoramic views. But the biggest draw is undoubtedly Portimão’s nearby Praia da Rocha.
8. Faro & Ria Formosa
From cobblestone streets and cozy squares to a wide range of lagoons and wetlands, Faro boasts a blend of city and nature activities. We really enjoyed a boat tour in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, which is home to canals, marshland and small islands.

7. Aljezur & West Coast Beaches
With wide-open beaches and sheer sea cliffs, the West Coast of the Algarve is a true hidden gem. It’s also another prime destination for surfing. We recommend Arrifana Beach if you’re a beginner or intermediate surfer.
6. Fishermen’s Village Ferragudo
With its white houses reaching down to the river, walking around this authentic fishing town is an experience in itself. But Praia Grande is also a great place to relax and enjoy watersports.
5. Lagos & Ponta da Piedade
Lagos has a wide range of cafés and restaurants to choose from, but also some historical sights, such as castle walls, churches, and a fort. Combine this with its spectacular coastline, filled with steep cliffs, caves, and grottoes, and you’ve got one of the most scenic destinations in the Algarve.

4. Serra de Monchique
Apart from beautiful beaches, the Algarve is also home to a rolling mountain range. The town of Monchique lies in pristine nature, surrounded by lush green forests. It’s an idyllic and authentic mountain town with sweeping vistas and a network of nature trails.

3. Silves
This historic town cascades down the hill, flowing out from beneath the beautiful Silves Castle (Castelo de Silves). Enjoy your time learning about the town’s history inside the castle walls as well as on the cobbled streets surrounding it.
2. The 7 Hanging Valleys
This 12km out-and-back hike takes between 4 to 6 hours to complete if you do the full route, and includes views of the Atlantic ocean as well as limestone rock formations. There is some elevation gain and loss as you climb up and down each of the valleys, but overall the hike is easy to moderate.
1. Benagil Cave
The Benagil Cave is a world-class natural attraction in the Algarve. Although it’s only a short distance from Benagil Beach, you still need a kayak, stand up paddle board, or guided boat tour to reach the caves safely.

The best of central Lisbon, PORTUGAL | travel vlog 3
Lisbon, Portugal, is a very charming city, full of history and viewpoints. In this video, you'll see some of the best things to do in town.
On our way to Castelo de São Jorge (Saint George or Sao Jorge Castle), we try an award-winning custard tart at Pastelaria de Santo Antonio. So delicious! ???? The castle is also known as Lisbon castle. As it's located at the highest point of the hill, we then start walking downhill and stopping at amazing viewpoints.
At Miradouro da Graça (Graça viewpoint) we also see Graça church and the convent. 10 min away, and with a totally different view, the Miradouros of Santa Luzia and das Portas do Sol (Santa Luzia viewpoint and Portas do Sol viewpoint).
Then we arrive at the most charming part of Alfama, the oldest and most traditional neighborhood in Lisbon, Portugal. After getting lost in the tiny streets, we try ginjinha (or ginja), a locally produced cherry liquor. Finally, and already downhill, Saint Anthony church. Inside the church, you can see the room where Saint Anthony was born in 1195.
When you visit Portugal, don't miss this itinerary. Certainly some of the best attractions in Lisbon!

The place is quite pleasant for canoeing, hiking, climbing, fishing, nautical activities, or simply let yourself go bathing in the floating pool.
A barragem de Santa Luzia é um local mágico, construída entre dois enormes rochedos, é uma das zonas paisagísticas mais deslumbrantes do concelho de Pampilhosa da Serra e de todo o território das Aldeias do Xisto!
O local é bastante aprazível para canoagem, passeios pedestres, escalada, pesca, actividades náuticas, ou simplesmente deixar-se ir a banhos na piscina flutuante.

O que fazer em Santa Luzia - MG

A história do município originou-se com aventureiros que em busca de riquezas, descobriram #SantaLuziamg . #santaluzia começou, em 1692, durante o ciclo do ouro. Uma expedição dos remanescentes da bandeira de Borba Gato implantou o primeiro núcleo da Vila, as margens do rio das Velhas, no garimpo de ouro de aluvião. Com a enchente do rio, o pequeno vilarejo mudou-se para o alto da colina, onde, hoje, é o Centro Histórico da cidade. Em 1697, ergueu-se o definitivo povoado, que recebeu o nome de Bom Retiro. Mais de 150 anos depois, em 1856, o povoado foi emancipado e desmembrado de Sabará e a partir de 1924, passou a se chamar Santa Luzia.
Com o fim da exploração do ouro, Santa Luzia tornou-se um importante centro comercial, ponto de parada dos tropeiros que vinham negociar e comprar mercadorias. Na rua do Comércio, no bairro da Ponte, existia um porto para os barcos que navegavam pelo Rio das Velhas, transportando mercadorias comercializadas em Minas Gerais. Assim, Santa Luzia passa a ser um ponto de referência do comércio, cultura e arte. O Distrito de São Benedito, na década de 50, começou a ser povoado. Mais tarde foram construídos, no local, grandes conjuntos habitacionais o Cristina e o Palmital e ocorreu a expansão do comércio.

Igreja Matriz de Santa Luzia
A Igreja Matriz é o verdadeiro retrato da fé. Em 1748, o Sargento-Mór Pacheco Ribeiro, em retribuição à cura da sua visão, homenageou a padroeira da cidade, Santa Luzia, com a construção dessa imponente igreja. Em seu interior, julga-se ter obras de Aleijadinho. As pinturas e o suntuoso conjunto de altares barrocos entalhados e recobertos em ouro são de Francisco Lima Serqueira, Felipe Vieira e Mestre Athayde.

Capela do Bonfim
Construída em 1711, a Capela do Bonfim está localizada no Centro Histórico da cidade, onde confluem as Ruas Direita e Floriano Peixoto. A simplicidade da capela revela rara beleza. Em seu interior, encontra-se a imagem do Senhor do Bonfim, esculpida por um escravo em troca de sua alforria.

Solar Teixeira da Costa (casa da cultura)
Considerado um dos mais belos solares da região, ele foi o quartel general de Teófilo Otoni e cenário do combate contra Duque de Caxias, no ano de 1842. Hoje, conhecido como a Casa da Cultura, ainda tem as marcas das balas disparadas em suas janelas durante o combate. Atualmente, a Casa da Cultura.

Atualmente o Mosteiro abriga as monjas concepcionistas da Ordem de Nossa Senhora da Imaculada Conceição, fundada por Santa Beatriz da Silva Menezes.
Monumento tombado pelo IPHAN (Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional) e pelo IEPHA/MG (Instituto Estadual do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico de Minas Gerais).

Cape Verde, also known as Cabo Verde, is made up of 10 major islands about 560 km (350 miles) off the west coast of Africa. Located in the central Atlantic Ocean, the archipelago was formed by volcanic action millions of years ago, though some islands have experienced eruptions in more recent history. Discovered by Portuguese explores in 1462, it was a colony of Portugal until gaining independence in 1976.

It’s easy to guess what Sal’s main industry once was: The name translates as “salt.” Most of the salt mined in the 19th century was exported to Brazil; salt today is mined mainly for tourists to take home and for local use. Sal is now a popular tourist destination, having the main international airport in Cape Verde. It’s mainly a flat, sandy island, with winter trade winds turning it into a Mecca for surfers. There’s sunshine almost every day and just what is rain anyway? Espargos is the island’s political and economic capital, while Pedra Luna is known for its leaning church.

SANTA CATARINA VIEWPOINT
The Santa Catarina viewpoint, also known as the Adamastor viewpoint, is a lookout and a retreat for spectators on one of Lisbon's seven hills. The common proverb viewing ships from the summit of Santa Catarina comes from the fact that between the 16th and 18th centuries, this was the site to admire the ships on the ocean, one of which was the helpless departure of the Portuguese royal family to Brazil.
Tourists and locals meet with musicians and street performers at the Santa Catarina viewpoint, which has a young, easygoing, and highly active vibe. In addition to the spectacular view, the lookout features a pleasant kiosk where terraces lovers can enjoy a coffee or a drink while watching the dawn or sunset over the Tejo River.
The Santa Catarina viewpoint in Lisbon is the best site to shoot the scenery surrounding the 25 de Abril Bridge and the Christ the King statue, especially at night when both are mirrored in the Tejo River waters. This location is ideal for socialising in the afternoon because it is bustling with activity and outdoor entertainment.
