Sandanski
One of the favoured places of the residents and visitors of Sandanski is the town park. You have not seen anything from Sandanski if you have not taken a walk in the park Sveti Vrach. Famous for its beauty, the park is home to a huge variety of flowers and trees, some of which are centenarians.
The park itself has many fountains, benches, playgrounds, sculptures, swimming pools and a beautiful water lake with swans. In the park you can also visit a cage for pheasants and peacocks, which will impress you with their colourful beauty.
Rupite
Bulgaria is blessed with a number of picturesque locations scattered across the country. One of them is the Rupite area at the foot of an extinct volcano in Southwestern Bulgaria. The area has been known for its healing mineral water springs since the times of the Roman Empire.
The area of Rupite is shrouded in a mystical aura. This is the place where world-famous Bulgarian clairvoyant Baba Vanga spent the last years of her life. Many visitors say they feel the place is charged with special energy and that upon leaving they feel reassured and charged with faith.
In 1994, Baba Vanga financed a project to build a church named after St. Petka near her home. Many people come here to light a candle in the church and take a look at Baba Vanga's house, which has been turned into a museum.

Sandanski has occurred and developed on the ruins of an early Byzantine town. Remains of four episcopal basilicas were found in Sandanski. The central episcopal basilica dates back to the period of the 5th-6th century AD.

Sandanski, Bulgaria - Park Sveti Vrach / Сандански - парк Свети Врач
Sandanski is a town and a recreation centre in south-western Bulgaria, part of Blagoevgrad Province. Named after the Bulgarian revolutionary Yane Sandanski, it is situated in Sandanski–Petrich Valley at the foot of Pirin Mountains, along the banks of Sandanska Bistritsa River. Sandanski is about 20 km away from Bulgaria-Greece border and 100 km away from Aegean sea.
The town has a convenient location, a mild to warm climate (with the highest average annual temperature in the country, +16°C) and relatively high concentration of thermal water springs, which all make it a popular destination for relaxation and recreation.
Сандански е град в Югозападна България. Той се намира в област Благоевград и е административен център на община Сандански. Наречен е на известния български революционер Яне Сандански, а до 1949 година се казва Свети Врач.
Сандански е природен санаториум за лечение на заболявания на дихателната система.
Въздухът в Сандански е с най-ниска влажност в цяла България и е подходящ за лечението на астматични, алергични и други заболявания. Градът е световноизвестен като естествена лечебница и балнеокурорт.
Градът се намира в подножието на Пирин. Курортът отстои на почти еднакво разстояние от София и Солун, а разстоянието от града до Егейско море и неговите курорти е 126 километра. На 12 километра от Сандански се намира местността Рупите с храма „Света Петка“, построен благодарение на петричката врачка Баба Ванга.
„Свети Врач“ е градски парк в Сандански. Единственият с пясъчни алеи и един от най-големите по площ паркове в България, простира се на 344 декара площ на двата бряга на река Санданска Бистрица.

В Пирин планина на 1050 м надморска височина се е сгушило с. Делчево. Данни за съществуването му има от римско време. Поминъкът на населението е свързан със земеделие, животновъдство и дърводобив. Наброявало е 90 къщи и 560 жители българи избити от османската войска при Илинденското въстание. Селото има архитектурен облик, амфитеатрално разположени къщи, голяма част строени през XIX век. На някои места се използва направо скалата за приземен етаж и се наблюдава интересно вплитане на природата в архитектурата. Заедно с еркерите на втория етаж и тесните калдаръмени улучки, се създава типична възрожденска атмосфера. По голяма част от къщите са обявени за паметници на културата. Църквата Успение богородично е строена през 1838 год. Има красив дървен иконостас и икони от XIX в.

Later, the Romans renamed it Dezudava, after which the Slavs gave it the name Saint Vrach. Today, the city bears the name of the Bulgarian revolutionary and voivode Yane Sandanski.
