Sacra di San Michele Abbey In Piemonte Italy | FPV UHD 4K Drone Film
This monument is a symbol of the Piedmont Region and the place that inspired the writer Umberto Eco to conceive the best-seller “Il nome della rosa” ( The name of the rose ) , the Sacra of San Michele is an ancient abbey built between 983 and 987 on the top of mount Pirchiriano, 40 km from Turin. From it’s towers you can admire Turin and a breathtaking view of the Val di Susa. Inside the main Church of the Sacra, dating from the 12th century, are buried several members of House of Savoy (Savoia), one of the oldest royal families in the world. Dedicated to the cult of the Archangel Michele, defender of the Christian people, the Sacra di San Michele fits inside a ruote of pilgrimage (long over 2000 km) which runs from Saint-Michel ( France ) to Monte Sant’Angelo (Puglia).
The history, the spiritual value and the landscape that surrounds it transform the Sacra in a special destination for visitors from all over Europe: pilgrims, faithfuls, tourists but also athletes who want to test themselves with climbing paths or mountain-bike.

Monte San Michele (Italian) or Debela griža (Slovene) is a hill on the Karst Plateau, in the Italian province of Gorizia, on the border between the municipalities of Sagrado and Savogna d'Isonzo. It is located eight kilometres southwest of Gorizia, on the left bank of the Isonzo, and has four peaks, the highest two of which (Cima Due and Cima Tre) have an elevation of 275 meters above sea level, while the lowest (Cima Uno) has an elevation of 237 meters, and Cima Quattro stands at 264 meters.Due to its commanding position over the lower Isonzo valley and the plain of Gorizia, it was the theatre of heavy fighting during the First World War; along with Sabotin and Podgora, the San Michele was one of the main bulwarks of the Austro-Hungarian defense of Gorizia during the early battles of the

Villa San Michele of Anacapri, Italy (4K/60fps)
Enjoy a short tour of the beautiful Villa San Michele in Anacapri. The story begins when the Swedish born doctor, Axel Munthe, first visited Capri when he was just 17 years old. He walked up the Phoenician Steps to Anacapri and as he passed the Chapel of San Michele he knew that someday he would build his home there. Years later, he came back to Capri and purchased the property and began building his villa.
