Wat Samphran is a Buddhist temple located in the province of Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, about 40 kilometers west of Bangkok. It is known for its distinctive 17-story pink tower that is shaped like a dragon, which can be seen from miles away.
The temple grounds cover an area of approximately 10 acres and include several other buildings and structures, including a prayer hall, a pagoda, and a giant statue of the Buddha. Visitors can climb the stairs inside the dragon tower to see the views of the surrounding countryside and to explore the various shrines and altars located on each floor.
In addition to its striking architecture, Wat Samphran is also known for its tranquil gardens and peaceful atmosphere. Today we are visiting WAT SAMPHRAN DRAGON TEMPLE in Thailand THE BEST OF BANGKOK, THAILAND. OMG! We were so excited to share this experience with you.
Kenny was scrolling through Instagram and came across this beautiful temple. We definitely had to visit! The name of this temple is Wat Samphran it is also known as the Dragon Temple.
This towering temple is a pink masterpiece with a dragon wrapped around it.
We think the Wat Samphran DRAGON TEMPLE is the best in Bangkok, Thailand because for these reasons:
1. The dragon is hollow and you are able to walk inside the dragon all the way up to a 360-degree view.
2. There were zero tourists there.
3. It has the coolest and most interesting animal sculptures.
4. No entrance fee!!!
