Val d'Isère:
Val d'Isère is a mountain village located at an altitude of 1850 metres. Wooden and stone chalets, slate roofs, baroque church, Val d'Isère is an international ski resort that has retained its charm and authenticity.
During the Albertville 1992 Winter Olympics, the Face de Bellevarde was the site of the men's downhill race. Other alpine skiing events held during those games included men's giant slalom and alpine combined. Val d'Isère regularly hosts World Cup alpine events, usually for the men in early December, and hosted the World Championships in 2009.

Saint-Tropez is a commune in the Var department and the region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Southern France. It is 68 kilometers west of Nice and 100 kilometers east of Marseille, on the French Riviera, of which it is one of the best-known towns. In 2018, Saint-Tropez had a population of 4,103. The adjacent narrow body of water is the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, stretching to Sainte-Maxime to the north under the Massif des Maures.
The French Riviera, or Côte d'Azur in French, is the Mediterranean coast of southeastern France. It includes famously glamorous beach resorts such as Saint-Tropez and Cannes, and the independent microstate of Monaco. A health retreat in the 18th century, the area later attracted aristocrats, artists and the 1960's 'Jet Set'. Today it’s an established holiday destination, with paths connecting many coastal villages and towns.

This video was shot at Christmas time 2011. My wife and I were visiting friends in St. Vallier. I am a huge Foreign Culture and Architecture fan, so we took a day trip to Valence to enjoy both. Bicycle Touring Provence Day 2 - Woke Up In A Flooded Tent
Got a rough start of the trip. During the first night it rained like crazy! So I woke up to a flooded tent. The rain kept on pouring down until noon, so I spent a couple of hours cleaning and drying my tent while waiting for the rain to die out. Once it cleared I started cycling/climbing towards Castellane. The route I took was following The Route of Napoleon, and was a fantastic route. Beautiful scenery everywhere. I ended up wild camping about 15 km short of Castellane. Unfortunately the day ended on a sour note. Just before i reached camp I was dumb and rigged my camera on my tripod, only for the whole set-up to tip over due to the heavy winds. So I broke the camera. Or I was able to get the lens back in position, but the lens cover wouldn't retract anymore. Bummer!
