Loire Valley is quite a unique area in France with about 300 castles and a very reach history which simply made us to visit at least a few places during the weekend trip from Paris. We only scratched the surface by stopping by the Amboise, Chamont, Clos Luce and Blois castles and quickly visiting Tours, Blois and Orleans. Although each of these places do deserve much more time than we had during our trip - we are still very happy to be able to see all of them in person! And - we definitely will be back!

The Loire Valley (French: Vallée de la Loire, pronounced [vale də la lwaʁ]), spanning 280 kilometres (170 mi),[1] is located in the middle stretch of the Loire river in central France, in both the administrative regions Pays de la Loire and Centre-Val de Loire. The area of the Loire Valley comprises about 800 square kilometres (310 sq mi).[2] It is referred to as the Cradle of the French and the Garden of France due to the abundance of vineyards, fruit orchards (such as cherries), and artichoke, and asparagus fields, which line the banks of the river.[3] Notable for its historic towns, architecture, and wines, the valley has been inhabited since the Middle Palaeolithic period.[2] In 2000, UNESCO added the central part of the Loire River valley to its list of World Heritage Sites.

We just came back from an amazing trip to the Loire Valley in France. This video is the first of several we are going to release over the summer. In today's video, we spent the night in a cave hotel dug into the cliff on the banks of the Loire Valley.
The Loire Valley in France is famous for its concentration of French chateaux. But if you are wondering what to see in the Loire Valley and what to do in the Loire Valley, there is a lot more than just castles in the Loire valley. It is a beautiful region with medieval villages, beautiful landscapes on the banks of the Loire River and excellent French food and French wine.

Tours est une commune française du centre-ouest de la France, sur les rives de la Loire et du Cher, dans la région Centre-Val de Loire. Tours est la capitale de la Touraine. Cette cité est historiquement le plus important site de Touraine.
Le vignoble de Vouvray a été créé par les moines du monastère de Marmoutier fondé en 372 par saint Martin. Dès le début du XIIIe siècle, les cépages blancs sont réservés aux parcelles situées sur les coteaux et rebords de plateau présentant des sols caillouteux et calcaires. Au cours du XIVe siècle une partie du terroir viticole de Vouvray appartient aux rois de France qui font servir ces vins à leur table.

We wanted to go to San Sebastian for a long time, but something always came up and we never went. And during our trip to Biarritz we simply knew we have to go there. And we went!
San Sebastian turned out to be all what we have expected - and even more. The views were amazing, the city lovely and the food tasty.

San Sebastián (Spanish: [san seβasˈtjan]) or Donostia (Basque: [doˈnos̺tia])[4] is a coastal city and municipality located in the Basque Autonomous Community, Spain. It lies on the coast of the Bay of Biscay, 20 km (12 miles) from the French border. The capital city of Gipuzkoa, the municipality's population is 186,095 as of 2015,[5] with its metropolitan area reaching 436,500 in 2010.[6] Locals call themselves donostiarra (singular), both in Spanish[7] and Basque.
The main economic activities are commerce and tourism, and it is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Spain.[8] Despite the city's small size, events such as the San Sebastián International Film Festival have given it an international dimension.
