Visite Ville d'Annecy en Haute Savoie, Lac d'Annecy, Venice of France
Annecy est une ville des Alpes située dans le sud-est de la France. C'est là que le lac d'Annecy se déverse dans le Thiou. Elle est réputée pour sa vieille ville avec ses rues pavées, ses canaux sinueux et ses maisons aux couleurs pastel. Surplombant la ville, le château médiéval d'Annecy, ancienne résidence des comtes de Genève, abrite un musée proposant des objets régionaux, tels que du mobilier alpin ou des œuvres religieuses, ainsi qu'une exposition sur l'histoire naturelle.
Annecy aujourd’hui est le centre d’une agglomération très touristique de plus de 207 562 habitants. La ville d’Annecy compte environ 130 257 habitants que l’on appelle les annéciens et annéciennes.

Top 10 must see places in Southern France.
Welcome to the French Riviera! Some people have a hard time imagining France as being a super beautiful and almost tropic country, what with all the focus around Paris, but the south of France has some spectacular places and the weather is just unreal.
I have yet to visit France, but I know the time will come and yes, I’ll likely start the travels in Paris. However, I’m totally drawn to the southern parts for the climate and geography. And the fact there are SO many awesome places to see. I mean driving along the French Riviera seems like something that only the rich and famous do so it almost feels like I could never do it. Guess I can’t wait to prove that image wrong and after look at this top 10 list, it was painful to cut a bunch off. I think I had over 30 places to start with so maybe I’ll have to revisit this area down the road.
Oh, and don’t worry. I’m fully aware that a couple of these are a little more central/western France, but hey who is counting. Either way I hope you enjoy the video and consider subscribing if that’s something that interests you. Thanks for watching!

I doubt there is any better rental in all of Annecy. The view is magnificent. Owned by a hotel magnate, the flat is well-appointed and modern in style. White and red dominate the color palate. Jean Baptiste was quite helpful at check-in and during our stay. The flat has three bedrooms, but one is larger (the master). The smaller bedrooms share a bath.

World famous for its tourist attraction, the quality of life and its surrounding mountains, Annecy is today a tourist city that has preserved its charm and authenticity to the delight of holidaymakers and, at the same time, is active and dynamic all year round. Its blue-green lake and canals that run through the old town have given it the nickname Venice of the Alps. One of the Most Beautiful Cities in France - Annecy is very close to water. The city of Annecy has mainly been nicknamed Venice of the Alps and Rome of the Alps for several centuries. We also sometimes find the nicknames Pearl of the Alps and Blue Lake.
Lake Annecy - the Pearl of the French Alps - has long been feared and avoided because its shores were swampy and infested with mosquitoes. In the Neolithic, Lake Annecy was lower than today (5 meters below) and prehistoric sites on stilts were closer to land. Over the centuries, the level of the lake has risen and during the Little Ice Age of the Middle Ages, the level of the lake even exceeded the current level by one meter. Over the centuries, there have been several major floods and droughts.
