This web series takes the form of a road trip along which wine lovers can explore Bourgogne appellation's 13 geographical denomination with Marie and Alain, two youtubers who set off to find out more about the wine, the winemakers, and also the gastronomy and cultural heritage of each terroir.
In the north of Bourgogne, discover the Bourgogne Côte Saint-Jacques appellation. The nearest Bourgogne vineyard to Paris (1 hour), it looks down over the charming little village of Joigny, on the north bank of the Yonne.
Follow Marie & Alain, who drive along the south-facing vineyards, backed by the Forest of Othe plateau, and overhanging the valley and the town. The vines grow on a very special flinty clay soil.
Explore the town marked by wine, whose traces can be seen in the architecture (stained glass windows of the churches, decorations of the half-timbered houses...)
A unique land in Bourgogne, Joigny is the first wine-producing village you will come across on your way from Paris. It offers wines, the Bourgogne Côte Saint-Jacques, typical, confidential and rare, to discover absolutely.

From late November till December, Switzerland hosts plenty of fantastic Christmas markets. The tradition of Christmas roots very deeply in the Swiss culture. However, among all these many markets around in Zürich, Basel, Einsiedeln, Stein am Rhein, Lucerne, Montreux, Bern, etc.: Which ones are the most beautiful Christmas markets of Switzerland? Einsiedeln - the most Christian Christmas market of Switzerland. The town of Einsiedeln is well-known for its large monastery and hosting the most beautiful church of Switzerland. The Christmas market is held only for a short time in the very beginning of December. The market concentrates around the square in front of the monastery, which provides a very authentic atmosphere. The Christmas market stretches into the old town and hosts various stalls with handmade souvenirs and foods.
Zürich - the most hip Christmas market of Switzerland. Zürich is very modern and this well reflects in its many Christmas markets. The markets are scattered throughout the city. Very important are the ones at the Bellevue and Zürich main station (Zürich HB). The market at the Bellevue is predominantly a foodie market, the one at the main station is rather traditional with many handicrafts. The Werdmühleplatz hosts the singing Christmas tree, a unique attraction! The Illuminarium is at the national museum and charms with its many lights and the light show.
Stein am Rhein - The fairytale town. The Märlistadt is not exactly a Christmas market but tries to balance between Christmas and fairytales. The opening is on December 1st and starts with a march of Trychler, a beautiful Swiss tradition. Enjoy the many performances and themes at the market and experience of the best winter fairytale / winter wonderland markets you could find in Switzerland.
Monreux - The most cheesy Christmas market. Montreux's Christmas market is by the lake promenade. Something very different and this makes the market stand out among the others! But the best of the best is the flying Santa Claus. This is what the market is the most known for! Enjoy the many stalls with finest Swiss handicraft. A perfect place to buy authentic souvenirs made with much love!
Basel - The most traditional Christmas Market. Basel's Christmas market is very traditional. The biggest attraction are though not the products the stalls are selling but rather the way the stalls have decorated themselves. Basel has very strict regulations and requires high efforts to produce an authentic christmassy atmosphere for everyone who was given the opportunity to have stall. Enjoy delicious glühwine (mulled wine), buying various handmade souvenirs and try seasonal delicassies. Among all markets, the one at Basel is the most beautiful one!

I have been researching the current situation in 2023 to see if Ginza is a town where people only shop.
While shopping malls stand side by side, there are also many sightseeing spots, so I will introduce them here.

Terre-Neuve : itinéraire de 7 jours pour le road trip d’une vie
Ça y est! La mythique province de Terre-Neuve est le dernier arrêt de notre voyage à travers le Canada, d’est en ouest. On a débuté à Tofino, en Colombie-Britannique, puis on a traversé neuf provinces et couvert plus de 10 000 km d’un océan à l’autre pour finalement arriver ici, à l’autre bout du pays!
À part te faire sentir comme si tu étais à l’autre bout du monde avec son littoral accidenté et ses charmants villages de pêcheurs, Terre-Neuve se distingue surtout par la gentillesse de ses habitants. Tout le monde semble se connaître et s’intéresse vraiment aux autres. Cette ambiance invitante est très appréciée lorsque l’on vient d’une grande ville comme Montréal, où la majorité des gens ne connait pas le nom de ses voisins.
Terre-Neuve devrait être en haut de ta bucket list si ces activités te semblent être la définition parfaite de vacances : découvrir les icebergs, conduire le long de la Viking Trail, grimper au sommet d’un fjord, aller observer les baleines et rencontrer des macareux. Cette province éloignée te fera bonne impression dès le début, et cette impression durera encore longtemps après ta première visite. On rêve déjà au jour où on retournera sur cette île chaleureuse.
Voici notre itinéraire d’une semaine à Terre-Neuve :
Grande Rue in Aubusson
The Grande Rue was created shortly before the French Revolution. It became one of the major routes through the town of Aubusson in the 19th century. This video will shed light on the history of the street and point out some of its remarkable buildings.
The stream running through the town is hidden beneath Aubusson’s Grande Rue, but until 1770, it flowed in the open air.
Some time before the Revolution, the entire district, which at that time still had a medieval appearance, was transformed. A vault was constructed which covered the stream, and later enabled the development of the Grande Rue, which became a major thoroughfare through the town.
The Grande Rue experienced its golden age in the 19th century when it bore the traffic of the major routes passing through Aubusson.
The tower house located at number 74 is one of the oldest buildings on the street. As is customary in Aubusson, its turret features a chestnut shingle-covered cone-shaped roof crowned with a finial. The building dates back to the late 15th century or the early 16th century and was owned by the Rogiers, a family of tapestry makers, during the 18th century.
At the junction between the Grande Rue and Rue Châteaufavier stands another historical building, known as the timber frame house, which retains its former structure and features an overhanging first floor. It most probably dates back to the 15th or 16th century. The ground floor was used as a bakery from at least the 19th century until the 1960’s.
An unusual house dating back to the 19th century can be found at number 64 on the Grande Rue. Resembling logs made from wood and other vegetables, the decor of its reinforced cement façade is a fine example of Rococo cement or rustic style.
During the late 19th century and early 20th century, Rococo cement became popular throughout the Creuse, particularly in Felletin, most likely thanks to cement masons who specialised in this on Paris building sites. Aubusson contains several other examples of Rococo decor, for example in one of the outbuildings of Château Saint Jean.
