Nantes est une commune située dans l'ouest de la France. Dans le sud du Massif Armoricain.
La ville est traversée par le fleuve 'la loire'. Elle est le chef lieu du département de la Loire Atlantique et également la préfecture de la Région des Pays de la Loire.
Il s'agit de l'une des ville les plus grandes de France. En 2019, elle était en position numéro 6 avec un peu moins de 400 000 habitants.
Elle a une histoire très importante liée à la Bretagne et à la Vendée (nottamment pendant la guerre de vendée). C'était un enjeu essentiel de cette guerre. Bien qu'après ce moment difficile elle ai connu une belle prospérité.
Les grandes villes qui entourent Nantes sont Saint-Nazaire, Anger, Orvault, Carquefou, Sautron, Rezé, la Roche-sur-Yon
Il y a également de belle station Balnéaires sur la côte atlantique dont : Pornic, le Croizic, la Baule, les Sables d'Olonne.
C'est une grande ville universitaire, et Nantes est l'une des villes préférées des Francais.

Paris is the capital and most populous city of France, with an area of 105 square kilometres (41 square miles) and an official estimated population of 2,140,526 residents as of 1 January 2019.
