Meyrin (French pronunciation: [mɛʁɛ̃]) is a municipality of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland.
The main site of the CERN, a European particle physics research organisation is in Meyrin. Meyrin was originally a small agricultural village until the 1950s, when construction of CERN began just to the north. It is now a commuter town dominated with apartment high-rises, and many of its residents work at CERN or in central Geneva. Geneva International Airport is partially located within Meyrin.
As of 2010, Meyrin had an unemployment rate of 7%. As of 2008, there were 50 people employed in the primary economic sector and about 13 businesses involved in this sector. 4,198 people were employed in the secondary sector and there were 197 businesses in this sector. 13,422 people were employed in the tertiary sector, with 860 businesses in this sector.There were 10,137 residents of the municipality who were employed in some capacity, of which females made up 43.9% of the workforce.

una cittadina che ci ha saputo coinvolgere e prendere al cuore.
abbiamo fatto un giro sul lungomare la sera, e il mattino seguente siamo andati in spiaggia. Nel pomeriggio un bel giro in bicicletta e monopattino per visitare il centro, e infine abbiamo preso la funicolare che ci ha portato al parco divertimenti per festeggiare il compleanno di Federico.

Venez avec nous découvrir le marais de l'Etournel à Pougny qui côtoie la Haute-Savoie, ce lieu est une pépite, et celui ci est situé non loin de Saint Julien en Genevois, Genève, et à moins d'une heure Annecy dans l'Ain.

Situé entre le massif du Jura et fleuve du Rhône, en avant de l’Ecluse et côtoyé par le fleuve Rhône, le marais de l'Etournel est compose de boisements anciens, roselières, étangs avec des prairies, et en prime on peut même se baigner dans un des étangs.
Les190 hectares constitue un réservoir de biodiversité absolument incroyable avec une migratoire essentielle pour les oiseaux. Les communes sont Pougny et Collonges, il a été labellisé ENS en janvier 2015.

Although Saint Jean de Luz is located a mere 20 minutes away from Biarritz and both are famous beach resorts, the atmosphere in St Jean de Luz is completely different, somehow more relaxed.
It is busy but not overcrowded, beautiful but not overly luxurious. There are large beautiful Basque houses that form the old part of the town. Many of the buildings date back to the 17th century, a time when Saint Jean de Luz was one of the most important fishing ports of France.
The 17th century was also a time of transition in St Jean de Luz, when the main economic activity changed from fishing to what was essential piracy, when it became a base for Basque corsairs. These corsairs would hunt down France’s enemies at sea, looting and plundering them with the blessing of the French king. The corsairs were feared by both the British and the Spanish, who were the unwilling donors of the riches that were brought back
to little Saint Jean de Luz. This was the golden age of the town and the wealth from that era can still be seen today.

Moulins : capitale radieuse du Bourbonnais !
Fondée en 990, la ville connaît un véritable essor lorsqu’elle est à la tête du duché du Bourbonnais de 1327 à 1527. Les ducs de Bourbon s’y succèdent et apportent à la ville et à son duché toujours plus de richesses, de puissance et de nouvelles terres.
Mais c’est sous la direction du couple Pierre II de Bourbon et Anne de France, fille aînée du roi Louis XI, que Moulins rayonne et bénéficie d’un apport culturel et artistique de première importance dans de nombreux domaines.
La cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation de Moulins : est Au Xe siècle, une humble chapelle dédiée à saint-Pierre est offerte à l’abbaye de Cluny et dépendra du prieuré clunisien de Souvigny au XIIe siècle.
A partir de 1327, après l’érection du Bourbonnais en duché au profit des sires de Bourbon, les premiers ducs de Bourbon fixent leur résidence à Moulins.
Louis II, par une bulle (document par lequel le pape pose un acte juridique important) datée du 19 octobre 1378 obtient du pape Clément VII l’établissement d’un chapitre collégial dans la chapelle Notre-Dame. Le 7 décembre 1386, l’évêque de Nevers procède à l’érection de la chapelle en collégiale dédiée à Notre-Dame-de-l’Annonciation.
En 1476, à la mort de la duchesse Agnès, son fils, le duc Jean II, reprend la construction qui est poursuivie par son fils, le duc Pierre II et son épouse Anne de France, fille du roi Louis XI. Ils offrent à la collégiale un somptueux triptyque dédié à la Vierge en gloire.
Le 27 avril 1788, le roi Louis VI décide d’établir un évêché à Moulins au bénéfice d’Etienne des GALLOIS de La TOUR (1750-1820), alors doyen de la collégiale.
Maison Thierry De Clèves : C'est vers 1450-1460 que Thierry de Clèves commande pour lui et les membres de sa famille cette habitation située au cœur du quartier historique. Cet homme de cour était le chirurgien barbier du duc Jean II de Bourbon. Ce statut et l'argent que cela lui rapportait lui permit de construire cette belle maison avec cour intérieure et façade sur rue en pan de bois sculpté.
Le Centre national du costume de scène et de la scénographie, est un musée français situé à Moulins, qui bénéficie du Label Pays d'art et d'histoire. Il est considéré comme la première institution de conservation à être entièrement consacrée au patrimoine matériel des théâtres.
Château des ducs de Bourbon : Un premier château est attesté au XIe siècle, succédant vraisemblablement à une motte castrale du Xe . Le château est rebâti par Louis II de Bourbon entre 1366 et 1375.
À la fin du XVe , Pierre II de Bourbon et Anne de Beaujeu deviennent duc et duchesse de Bourbon et agrandissent le château ducal et font construire l'aile nord selon une architecture gothique flamboyante. Cette partie du château, encore debout, mais très remaniée, porte précisément le nom de « Pavillon Anne de Beaujeu » et abrite aujourd’hui le musée départemental d’art et d’archéologie. Après le démantèlement du duché du Bourbonnais, le château passe aux mains des reines de France.
Le château subit en 1755, un incendie dont il ne se relèvera pas.
Église du Sacré-Cœur : Première église paroissiale consacrée au Sacré-Cœur à cet emplacement, l’hôpital Saint-Nicolas est fondé en 1367 par le duc Louis II de Bourbon. En 1521, le connétable Charles III de Bourbon y installe un couvent de Jacobins, dont l’église devient une paroisse en 1791. En 1829, le bâtiment tombe en ruines et son abbé, Philippe Martinet, obtient l’autorisation de reconstruire une nouvelle église. Le projet de l’architecte Jean-Baptiste Lassus est adopté et la première pierre posée en 1844. Bénie en 1866, elle est la première église paroissiale dédiée au Sacré-Cœur.
La Maison Mantin : Issu d’une famille fortunée, rentier à 42 ans, “bourgeois” et original, Louis Mantin lègue en 1905 son exceptionnelle maison et la collection qu’elle renferme “de façon à montrer aux visiteurs dans cent ans un spécimen d’habitation d’un bourgeois du 19e siècle”.
Construit entre 1893 et 1895, sur une partie des ruines du palais ducal des Bourbons, l’édifice pittoresque est conçu pour préserver et conserver la collection du maître des lieux, érudit, curieux et amateur d’art.
Musée Anne de Beaujeu : De l'imposant château des ducs de Bourbon subsiste aujourd'hui le donjon du XIVe siècle et le pavillon Renaissance qui abrite le musée Anne-de-Beaujeu, sur la façade duquel on peut voir les emblèmes des Bourbons : chardon, ceinture d'espérance, cerf ailé.
Musée de la Visitation : Le Musée organise chaque année de mai à décembre une grande exposition temporaire dans l’un des plus beaux immeubles de la ville: l’Hôtel Demoret, bâti au XIVème siècle.
