Biarritz est une ville balnéaire de la côte basque située dans le sud-ouest de la France.
La population de Biarritz hors période estivale est d’environ 26 000 habitants en 2022, et celle-ci augmente considérablement en période estival à plus de 110 000 habitants dû à l’attractivité de la ville.
Biarritz est une destination qui fait rêver jusqu’au têtes couronnées de toute l'Europe, qui l'ont choisie comme lieu de villégiature depuis les années 1800.
Biarritz est également adoré des surfeurs pour ses plages et écoles de surf.
Dans ce reportage je vais vous faire découvrir le Top 10 des choses incontournables à voir et faire à Biarritz.
Numéro 1 Le Phare de Biarritz et la Pointe Saint Martin
La pointe Saint-Martin accueille le phare de la ville de Biarritz qui a été construit de 1830 à 1832, il culmine à 80 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Le phare possède 248 marches et permet de découvrir un panorama exceptionnel qui va du sud des Landes jusqu'aux Pyrénées.

A Biarritz de nombreuses plages sont présentes pour faire du surf ou vous baignez, comme par exemple
La Plage Miramar
C’est une petite plage qui vient en prolongement de la Grande Plage de bIARRITZ. Elle est plus intimiste que sa voisine, ici vous y trouverez le charme et la tranquillité d’un site abrité.
La grande plage : Première plage publique de Biarritz, c'est en 1957 que le surf déferla sur ses vagues grâce au scénariste américain Paul Viertel, qui se fit envoyer une planche de Californie. Depuis, La Grande Plage, située en plein coeur de la ville et face au grand Casino, est un spot de surf célèbre pour ses vagues de qualité.
La Plage du port vieux :
Petite plage au fond d’une anse rocheuse (proche du centre-ville), abritée des vents et des vagues. Véritable piscine naturelle très prisée des familles .

Atalaye signifie promontoire en basque.
Numéro 5 Aquarium et musé de la mer
Situé face au Rocher de la Vierge, ce Musée et aquarium de la Mer vous proposera d’observer de prêt les requins, et autres poissons.

Vous pourrez flâner sur l’esplanade Elizabeth 2 et voir les différents points de vue sur la ville de Biarritz.

Vous pourrez vous balader sur le port de Biarritz et y admirer l’église Saint Eugénie.

Hello and greetings from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where in this travel guide we plan to highlight some of the top things to do for visitors! We recently spent a week road-tripping the island and what an adventure that was! This was our fourth summer exploring Nova Scotia, and this time around we focused on southern Cape Breton, specifically the area between St. Peter’s and Port Hastings. Here is our Cape Breton Travel Guide covering some fascinating things to do in Nova Scotia, Canada.
I think this is a really interesting area to visit because it is very accessible. Port Hastings is the first town you hit if you’re crossing via the Canso Causeway (the only land access point to the island!), so it’s a logical starting point, and it makes a lot of sense for travellers who want to see a bit of Cape Breton without having to drive too far.
We spent our week in southern Cape Breton doing an iconic sail from lake to sea, feasting on seafood at every meal, tackling different hiking trails, and enjoying the warm hospitality the island is known for.

[프랑스] '빅토르 위고'가 좋아한 노르망디 지방의 가장 아름다운 마을 '벨레로즈' Veules-les-Roses
우리 에게는 다소 낯선 마을인 ‘벨-레-로즈 Veules-les-roses’는 노르망디 '디에프 Dieppe' 해변 가까이 위치해 있으며, 빅토르 위고 등 많은 문인들과 예술가들이 거쳐간 아름다운 해변 마을이다. '프랑스의 가장 아름다운 마을들'(Les plus beaux villages de France)에 선정된 '뵐 래 로즈' 강추!!!
강을 따라 오밀조밀 지어진 초옥들을 가로 지르는 산책로는 대 문호 '빅토르 위고 Victor Hugo'가 이 마을에 머물던 시기에 가장 선호하던 코스였다는데, 발원지에서부터 바다로 흘러 들어가기 까지 길이가 겨우 1.100 m 인 '뵐 Veules' 강은 프랑스에서 가장 짧은 강이면서, 노르망디 양식의 초가집들과 1830년 대에 지어진 다양한 양식의 별장들이 독특한 매력을 풍긴다.
'뵐-레- 로즈 Veules les roses'는 아름다운 절벽과 바닷가, 썰물 때 드러나는 고운 모래사장, 풍부한 역사적 유물, 노르망디 양식의 독특한 초가집, 굴 양식장에서 갓 출하된 싱싱한 굴, 어부들이 직판하는 활어… 무엇 하나 빼 놓을 수 없이 여행의 재미를 더해준다.
또한 강의 발원지 가까이에서 14세기부터 재배하기 시작한 '크레송 cresson'이 마을의 명물로 꼽히는데, 미나리와 흡사한 크레송은 철분과 칼슘이 풍부하며 싸하게 톡 쏘는 맛과 부드러운 잎으로 유명하여 미식가들이 즐겨 찾는다. 겨울철 푸른 야채로는 최고!!!
간단 역사
프랑스 최초의 왕조인 ‘메로뱅 시대’의 중요 인물들의 묘가 발견되는 것으로 보아, 이 마을의 기원은 노르망디 지방에서 가장 오래된 마을들 중 하나로 약 4세기로 여겨지는데, '뵐 veules' 라는 단어의 어원이 '물이 나는 곳' 이라는 것 만 봐도 지하수가 솟아나는 곳을 중심으로 마을이 번성하였음을 알 수 있다.
강을 끼고 양털 세탁업이나 수력을 이용한 방앗간들이 이 마을의 주력 산업으로 발전하였지만, 산업혁명 이후에 증기기관이 사용되며 점차 쇠락의 길을 걷게 되면서 서서히 잊혀져 간다.
역사 속으로 사라지던 이 마을이 전환기를 맞이하는 것은, 파리의 ‘코메디 프랑세즈Comédie Française’의 단원이던 ‘아나이스 오베르 Anaïs Aubert’ 라는 여배우가 1826년 이 마을을 발견하고, 파리에 돌아가서 자신의 지인들에게 적극적으로 홍보를 하면서 세인의 주목을 받게 된다. 파리에서 그리 멀지도 않고, 조용한 시골 풍경과 바닷가의 정취를 한꺼번에 느낄 수 있는 이 곳을 즐겨 찾는 사람들이 늘어나면서, 아름다운 빌라들이 세워지고 생기를 되찾게 되었다고 한다.
L’Eglise Saint-Martin
꾸불 꾸불한 길에서 만나는 쎙 마르땡 성당은 시간의 벽을 넘어 오히려 정겹게 다가온다. 이 성당은 12-13세기 고딕 양식의 종탑과 몇 가지를 제외하고는 15-16세기 초반에 대부분 새로 지어진 것이라고 하는데 건물 내부의 가장 오래된 부분은 종탑을 받치고 있는 엄청난 굵기의 네 기둥들로 연결된 교차볼트이다.
성소의 북쪽 기둥에는 가장 오래된 문양들이 조각되어 있는데, 50 여 개의 각종 형태의 문양이 왜 성당에 자리를 잡았을까? 화살과 화살 통을 든 사랑과 미움의 장난꾸러기 큐피터를 비롯하여 인어, 바다 가재를 비롯하여 종교적 색채를 띤 화살에 관통 당한 예수의 심장도 있다. 지역적 특성이 성당 내부에 반영된 듯......
또한, 주술적 의미가 가미된 독특한 모습들도 보이는데, 샴 쌍둥이처럼 머리가 붙은 형상, 귀가 뽀족한 사람, 엄청나게 긴 수염의 사람, 거울을 든 여인, 인어.... 형상이 잘 보이지 않는 상징적인 도형들은 무엇이지 보는 이로 하여금 온갖 상상력을 유발시킨다.
빅토르 위고 Victor Hugo
1868년 이 마을에 집을 장만하여 집필을 하던 소설가이며 출판업자 ‘뽈 뫼리스 Paul Meurice’ 와의 친분으로, 대 문호 ‘빅토르 위고 Victor HUGO’가 이 마을에 4번이나 묵은 것을 기념하는 동판이 해변가에 설치되었는데, 예술인들에게 영감을 주는 ‘파르나스 Parnasse’에서 역사의 영웅들 호메로스, 단테, 몰리에르가 빅토르 위고를 맞이하는 장면, 대문호의 작품에 등장하는 주인공들과 함께한 장면, 그리고 상원에서 연설하는 위고의 모습이 새겨져 있다.

‘Vules-les-roses’ is located near the beach of Dieppe in Normandy, and is a beautiful seaside village where many writers and artists, including Victor Hugo, passed through. I highly recommend ‘Beau Lae Rose,’ which was selected as one of ‘The Most Beautiful Villages of France’ (Les plus beaux villages de France)!!!
It is said that the walking path that crosses the densely built green houses along the river was the favorite course of the great writer Victor Hugo when he stayed in this village. The 'Veules' is only 1.100 m long from the source to the point where it flows into the sea. The river is the shortest river in France, and the Normandy-style thatched houses and villas of various styles built in the 1830s give it a unique charm.

This week we are exploring another Spanish city. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here.
It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts.
Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter.
Well, so what did you think of the city?
It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose.
And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. 파리에서 바다를 보고 싶을 때면 부담 없이 훌쩍 떠나서 기분 전환하기에 좋은 고급 휴양도시 '도빌'은 노르망디 지방 특유의 목조건물들과 어우러진 해변을 걷기에 좋아서 막연히 바다가 그리울 때면 쉽게 찾는 휴양지입니다.
'끌로드 르루쉬 Claude Lelouche' 감독의 1966년 작품으로 ‘칸 Cannes’ 영화제 대상을 수상한 '남 과 여'는 '장 루이 트렝띠냥Jean Louis Trintignan'과 '아눅 에메Anouk Aimée'가 열연한 영화인데요, 호화스런 요트들이 정박한 항구의 목조 다리는 두 연인의 재회 장면으로 등장하면서 요즘도 연인들에게 인기가 많은 곳이죠. '남과 여' 영화 주제곡을 배경음악으로 넣으면 좋으련만, 저작권 문제로 해변 산책하는 노래로 대체하여 아쉬움이 많습니다만....
‘도빌’은 7월부터 본격적으로 세계 각국에서 휴양 객들이 몰려오고, 9월에 열리는 ‘도빌 폴로 컵 Deauville Polo Cup’으로 불리는 국제 행사가 열리고..., 매년 9월에 열리는 ‘도빌 미국 영화제’는 미국의 최고 스타들이 휴가 겸 자신의 영화를 홍보하기 위해 대거 출연하기 때문에 헐리우드 스타들을 보기 위하여 전 세계에서 몰려드는 열성 팬들로 북적입니다.
본래, ‘도빌’은 19세기 중반까지는 초라한 시골 마을이었지만, ‘투루빌 Trouville’ 해수욕장이 발전하면서 1860년 ‘나폴레옹 3세’의 이복 동생 ‘모르니 공작 Duc de Morny’의 권력, 주불 영국 대사의 주치의인 ‘올리프 Oliffe’의 아이디어, 재력가 ‘도농 Donon’의 재력이 합쳐서 ‘도빌’을 집중 개발하기 시작하는데요. 1912년 '데지흐 르 옥 Désire Le Hoc' 카지노가 개장되면서 전환점을 맞이한 ‘도빌’은 특히 1차 세계대전 끝 무렵인 1918년 비약적인 발전을 하고, 여러 가지 국제 행사를 유치하면서 관광 도시로 성장하게 됩니다.
‘도빌’에서는 홍합 요리에 ‘칼바도스’ 지방의 사과주 ‘시드르 Cidre’를 곁들이면 좋죠. 3% 정도의 낮은 알코올 농도와 시원한 맛으로 청량음료 같지만 은근히 취하게 만드니까 평소 주량을 시험하지 마시길!!!!

When you want to see the sea from Paris, Deauville is a luxury resort city where you can easily get away and change your mood. It is a great resort to visit when you vaguely miss the sea because it is great for walking along the beach with the unique wooden buildings of the Normandy region.
'A Man and a Woman', a 1966 film directed by 'Claude Lelouche' and which won the grand prize at the 'Cannes' Film Festival, is a luxurious film starring 'Jean Louis Trintignan' and 'Anouk Aimée'. The wooden bridge in the harbor where yachts are anchored appears as a scene of the reunion of two lovers and is still a popular place for couples these days.
Vacationers from all over the world flock to Deauville starting in July, and an international event called the Deauville Polo Cup is held in September... and the 'Deauville American Film Festival' held every September. As America's biggest stars come on vacation to promote their movies, it is crowded with passionate fans who come from all over the world to see Hollywood stars.

Places to see in ( Narbonne - France ) Abbaye de Fontfroide
Fontfroide Abbey (French: Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Fontfroide; Latin: Fons frigidus) is a former Cistercian monastery in France, situated 15 kilometers south-west of Narbonne near to the Spanish border. It was founded in 1093 by Aimery I, Viscount of Narbonne, but remained poor and obscure, and needed to be refounded by Ermengarde, Viscountess of Narbonne. In 1144 it affiliated itself to the Cistercian reform movement.
Shortly afterwards the Count of Barcelona gave it the land in Spain that was to form the great Catalan monastery of Poblet, of which Fontfroide counts as the mother house, and in 1157 the Viscountess Ermengard of Narbonne granted it a great quantity of land locally, thus securing its wealth and status. The abbey fought together with Pope Innocent III against the heretical doctrine of the Cathars who lived in the region. It was dissolved in 1791 in the course of the French Revolution.
It was re-founded in 1858 by monks from Sénanque Abbey. The community was driven out of France by French legal changes in 1901. The premises, which are of very great architectural interest, passed into private hands in 1908, when the artists Gustave and Madeleine Fayet d'Andoque bought it to protect the fabric of the buildings from an American collector of sculpture.
They restored it over a number of years and used it as a centre for artistic projects. It still remains in private hands. Today wine is produced here of the AOC Corbières quality under the French appellations system. It also has a small working farm, bookstore and restaurant and takes paying guests.
