Surnommée la porte d'or de la Bourgogne, Chablis est une charmante bourgade célèbre pour son vin prestigieux, située à 20 kilomètres d'Auxerre. Cette cité accueillante, entourée des vignes qui recouvrent ses coteaux plus ou moins pentus, est un haut lieu viticole de Bourgogne. Le vignoble des alentours, uniquement planté du cépage Chardonnay, couvre 4 800 hectares, ce qui en fait le plus vaste de l'Yonne.

This free scenery an improved version of Cosne-sur-Loire airport scenery (LFGH) in the center of France, not so far from La Loire river and the famous french castles. This airfield is a very small GA airfield with a wellknown Robin maintenance shop (Loire Aviation) and an air club. It has a single paved runway 11/29 of 800 meters (2624 ft), a single taxiway and a concrete ramp, but you can park on the grass field ;)
The Microsoft Flight Simulator scenery is only made with default library objects
- New airfield buildings closer to reality as much as generic hangar can do
- Plenty of small objects here and here to make it a life platform: trees, barrels, cones, toolbox, picnic table, fences, people and pilots...
- Update of parking positions and new static aircrafts (only at free space)
- Correct location of the unique windsock
- Remove unreal taxiway signs

Normandia 6 - La puntata più bella di un Meraviglioso Viaggio in Camper

Questo è il video che conclude la serie del videodiario della nostra vacanza in Normandia in camper ad agosto 2022.
Tutto il viaggio è stato meraviglioso, denso di emozioni, di scoperte ed anche di divertimento (anche se la visita dei luoghi della memoria dello Sbarco Alleato del 1944 ha portato nei nostri cuori un profondo senso di rispetto per il sacrificio dei tanti giovani che hanno combattuto per la nostra libertà).
Se non lo avete già fatto vi consiglio di vedere tutta la serie, a partire dalla puntata numero 0, quella della presentazione del viaggio.
Ma questa vacanza così bella in pleinair, non poteva avere un finale migliore.
In questa puntata vediamo infatti la grandissima suggestione della nostra sosta sulla brughiera direttamente sulla scogliera, in un'area gratuita dedicata ai camper sotto la lanterna di un faro che emette un intenso fascio di luce rossa.
Ci siamo spostati poi a Cherbourg dove abbiamo trovato una sosta attrezzata gratuita, davanti alla Citè de la Mer, un fantastico parco scientifico, che abbiamo visitato con grandissimo interesse e sempre pieni di meraviglia, tra sottomarini atomici, migliaia di pesci dei mari più profondi e la ricostruzione della storia del Titanic che nel suo primo ed ultimo viaggio aveva fatto scalo qui a Cherbourg.
Wow era l’espressione continuamente appariva sui nostri volti.
Il biglietto d’ingresso costa ben 19 euro a persona, ma li vale tutti!
Il centro della città di Cherbourg che si raggiunge comodamente a piedi è pittoresco e molto animato, con i tavolini dei bar all’aperto ed il susseguirsi di piccoli ristoranti lungo la banchina della darsena, dove abbiamo fatto scorpacciata di ostriche, gamberetti rosa e altri gustosissimi molluschi.
Tappa successiva è Le Mont Saint Michel con le storie delle maree e della mistica Linea di San Michele Arcangelo che unisce in linea retta ben a sette santuari a lui dedicati, che va dall’Irlanda ad Israele, passando appunto per Mont Saint Michel, come anche per la Sacra di San Michele in val di Susa (Piemonte) e per il santuario di San Michele Arcangelo a Monte Sant’Angelo (Puglia).
Imbocchiamo così la strada del ritorno a casa, passando per la cittadina di Nevers dove andiamo ad onorare la tomba di Santa Bernadette, che dopo le apparizioni della Vergine a Lourdes, era stata qui trasferita alla Casa Madre delle Suore della Carità.
Infine attraversiamo il Moncenisio ed eccoci al confine con l’Italia.
Ringraziamo la Francia, per le tante meraviglie che ci ha fatto scoprire e per la stupenda ospitalità offerta ai viaggiatori in camper.

Tours is a university town between France's Cher and Loire rivers. Once a Gallic-Roman settlement, today it's a university town and a traditional gateway for exploring the chateaux of the Loire Valley region. Major landmarks include the cathedral, Saint-Gatien, whose flamboyant Gothic facade is flanked by towers with 12th-century bases and Renaissance tops.
Tours (with a silent s) is an important French city (population 140,000, 360,000 with the suburbs) located on the river Loire in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Touraine, the region around Tours, is renowned for its wines and for the perfection of its local spoken French. For tourists, the city is a good base for exploring the many castles and charming towns in the Loire Valley. Although much of the city is modern, Tours boasts half-timbered buildings in Place Plumereau, a 12th century cathedral, and Roman ruins scattered throughout the city, including in the Jardin de St Pierre le Puellier.
Beneath the plane trees lining Boulevard Béranger, the twice-weekly flower market in Tours provides a splash of color and a heady whiff of fragrance to the thoroughfare, one of several that can justly be described as Haussmannesque. The imposing Belle Epoque City Hall, built by noted native-son architect Victor Laloux bears more than a passing resemblance to the Hôtel de Ville in the nation’s capital. Echoes of the Paris Opéra are found in the opulent Grand Théâtre de Tours, since architect Charles Garnier was involved in its construction. Towering Saint Gatien cathedral, in spite of its ornate facade and owl-eyed twin towers topped with Renaissance belfries, is, on the interior, a Gothic marvel fit for Quasimodo. And in the summer—inspired by the success of Paris Plage—Tours puts on its own beach-party festival on the banks of the Loire, with evening concerts, open-air movies and guinguettes for dancing.

Gare de Tours is a railway station serving the city of Tours, Indre-et-Loire department, western France. It is situated on the Paris–Bordeaux railway, the Tours–Saint-Nazaire railway, and the non-electrified Tours–Le Mans railway. The Gare de Tours is a terminus; most TGV trains only serve the nearby Gare de Saint-Pierre-des-Corps.
On 28 December 1984, the railway station was classified as monument historique. The architect of the 1898 station was Victor Laloux, with four allegorical limestone statues of cities by Jean Antoine Injalbert (Bordeaux and Toulouse) and Jean-Baptiste Hugues (Limoges and Nantes).
The Tours train station is a railway station French on the territory of the town of Tours , in the department of Indre-et-Loire , in region Center Loire Valley. The station is operated by the National Society of French Railways (SNCF). It is served by the TGV , Intercity trains and regional express trains (TER). Nevertheless, its situation as a terminal station necessitating a turnaround has caused it to lose traffic on certain trains that stop only at the Saint-Pierre-des-Corps station . Until May 5, 1970, it was the terminus station of the Sables-d'Olonne line in Tours whose route of the terminal part was abandoned from the Joué-lès-Tours station , in favor of a connection created between this last station and the line from Paris-Austerlitz to Bordeaux-Saint-Jean , south of Tours.
The first station towards Saint-Nazaire is Saint-Genouph . In the direction of Le Mans, the first station opened is La Membrolle-sur-Choisille , separated by the now closed Fondettes - Saint-Cyr . In the direction of Paris-Austerlitz, the first station is that of Saint-Pierre-des-Corps and towards Bordeaux-Saint-Jean, that of Monts .

La Pointe Fauconnière est un site naturel aux alentours de Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer (Var, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur). Ce lieu présente un attrait pour les vacanciers de passage dans la région.
La tour de guet de la Pointe Grenier à Saint Cyr sur Mer surveille la grande baie de La Ciotat depuis l'Antiquité. Reconstruite et modifiée au cours des siècles, elle a été restaurée en 1990
Entre les XVIe et XIXe siècles, le littoral est aménagé pour la défense militaire de la côte (Batterie de Vauban, Tour de Vigie, Bastide des Douanes…). A cette époque, la forêt est grignotée par l’agriculture (vignes, oliviers) et le pastoralisme.
A la fin du XIXe siècle, une mine est ouverte à la pointe Grenier pour la fabrication de plâtre (gypse) et de tuiles (argile) jusqu’à son effondrement en 1910.

la riche Loire 37 indre et loire region centre
La ville tient son nom de l'église Notre-Dame-la-Riche de Tours, ancien faubourg séparé de son noyau par la construction de l'enceinte de fortification moderne au milieu du xviie siècle ; la ville tire donc son nom d'un édifice religieux qui ne se trouve pas sur son territoire (le cas est identique à l'est de Tours avec Saint-Pierre-des-Corps et au nord avec Saint-Symphorien).
Au cours de la Révolution française, la commune, alors nommée Notre-Dame-la-Riche, porta provisoirement les noms de La Riche-Extra et de La Varenne-de-la-Riche et adopta le nom de La Riche au sortir de cette période2.
Au xixe siècle on y cultive surtout le chanvre et les céréales, puis, profitant des qualités du sol, les cultures deviennent principalement maraîchères.
La Riche fut occupée trois mois par les Prussiens en 1870.
Vers la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la ville fut également bombardée à neuf reprises entre juin et août 19443, notamment le 8 juin 19444. Un odonyme local (rue du 8-Juin) rappelle cet événement
