The history of Dharmarajeshwar temple dates back to the 9th century. The temple has a garbh-grih with a Sabha mandap and Shikhar. The architecture of Dharmarajeshwar temple resembles that of Kailash Temple of Ellora. A big pyramid shaped temple stands in the middle which is 14.53 m tall and 10 m wide. The main temple is surrounded by seven small shrines which are dedicated to various deities such as Lord Bhairav, Goddess Kali, Garuda and Goddess Parvati. The main temple houses a huge Shiva linga along with an idol of Lord Vishnu. The entrance gate displays the engraved images of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
How to reach:
By Road: The Temple is 4 km away from Chandwasa town. The place is well connected with all the major towns of Madhya Pradesh by road.
By Rail: The Nearest Railway Station is Shamgarh which is 22 km away from the temple.
By Air: The nearby airport is located at Indore which is 167 km away from the temple.

इस वीडियो में हम आपको लेकर चलते हैं, श्यामगढ़ माताजी कुलमाता मंदिर के दर्शनों के लिए श्यामगढ़ ।
श्यामगढ़ माताजी मंदिर:
श्री श्यामगढ़ माताजी का मंदिर राजस्थान में अजमेर जिले की मसूदा तहसील और ब्यावर शहर के समीप श्यामगढ़ गाँव में स्थित है। मंदिर अतिप्राचीन है जिसका वर्तमान स्वरूप पुनर्निमित है। श्यामगढ़ बहुत पुराना गाँव है, यहाँ एक बहुत पुराना किला भी स्थित है जिसके कारण ही इस गाँव के नाम के साथ ‘गढ़’ शब्द जुड़ा हुआ है।
क्षेत्रीय आस्था:
बताया जाता है कि श्री श्यामगढ़ माता मंदिर में हर शनिवार को एक महिला गीतादेवी को ‘ईष्ट’ आती हैं। वह इसी मंदिर में रहकर यहाँ माताजी की सेवा करती है। पहलें इनकी माता को ‘ईष्ट’ था। इस दिन दूर-दूर से आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं का तांता लगा रहता है। श्री श्यामगढ़ माताजी के प्रति श्रद्धालुओं में इतनी श्रद्धा हैं कि देश के कई भागों से श्रद्धालु अपनी मनोकामना लेकर यहाँ आते हैं। नवरात्रि में भी यहाँ मेला लगता है।
कैसे पहुँचें:
अजमेर जिले की मसूदा तहसील से 15 किलोमीटर और कस्बे ब्यावरा से सड़क मार्ग से 18 किलोमीटर दूर अंधेरी देवरी के नजदीक स्थित है। यहाँ से तिराहा गाँव चौराहा ७ कि.मी. की दूरी पर है। इस से बायीं ओर से जाने वाले मार्ग से १२ कि.मी. की दूरी पर ग्राम श्यामगढ़ है जहाँ माताजी का मंदिर स्थित है । यहाँ पहुँचने के लिये बस व जीप उपलब्ध हो जाती हैं।
