Laxmangarh Fort - Historical and Tourist Place of Rajasthan, लक्ष्मणगढ़ किला - India Tourism
Laxmangarh Fort is a ruined old fort on a hill in the town Laxmangarh of Sikar district of Indian state Rajasthan. Situated 30 kilometres from Sikar, it was built by Rao Raja of Sikar, Laxman Singh in 1862, who also founded a village in his own name as Laxmangarh in 1864.
The most imposing building in this Laxmangarh town is its small fortress (owned by the Jhunjhunwala Family) which looms over the well laid out township on its west side. Laxman Singh, the Raja of Sikar, built the fort in the early 19th century after Kan Singh Saledhi besieged the prosperous town.
The fort of Laxmangarh is a unique piece of fort architecture in the whole world because the structure is built upon scattered pieces of huge rocks.
Laxman Singh of Sikar constructed the Laxmangarh Fort in 1862 AD, and around it he established the present Laxmangarh town, which was founded in 1864 AD.
Laxman Singh of Sikar Thikana planned it nearly 200 years ago under the Shekhawati region of erstwhile. The reigning kingdom of jaipur had many thikanas and was one of them. The jagirdars of these thikanas were called Rao Rajas and Laxman Singh happened to be the Rao Raja of Sikar and founder of Laxmangarh
The nearing area of the Laxmangarh town are also very rich in heritage. The PEER Baba ki Samadi located in the revenue village of Alkhpura Bogan near Hapas is also a 300-year-old monument. The monument is a place of worship for both the Hindus and Muslims of the area. The great fair is organised every year on the sixth of Bhadarpad (Hindi Month). Large number of people participate in the fair.
Other than the Laxmangarh fort, the Ghanta ghar (Clock Tower) and various havelis with famous Shekhawati fresco paintings and Chhatris are the hallmark of the town.

Nawalgarh is a town in Jhunjhunu area of Indian state Rajasthan. It is a piece of the Shekhawati area and is halfway among Jhunjhunu and Sikar. It is 30 km from Sikar and 39 km from Jhunjhunu.
Thakur Naval Singh founded this place which is located in the Shekhawati province of Rajasthan. Painting on the Havelis of Nawalgarh, built in 1836, has been done very efficiently.

Laxmangarh is a town in Sikar district of Rajasthan state in India. It is the sub-divisional headquarters of the Laxmangarh sub-division in Sikar district. It is also the Tehsil headquarters of the Laxmangarh Tehsil. Laxmangarh is also Panchayat samiti headquarters of the Laxmangarh Panchayat samiti in the district. It is situated on National Highway-11 at a distance of 24 km from Sikar in north.

इस वीडियो में आप देखेंगे सीकर जिले में स्थित खारे पानी की रेवासा झील जो सीकर जिले के दाता रामगढ़ तहसील के रेवासा गांव के पास स्थित है।
रेवासा झील मुख्यतः नमक उत्पादन के लिए जानी जाती है। यहां नमक उत्पादन की शुरुआत 1978 में हुई थी।
15 साल पहले यहां लगभग 50 प्लांटों में नमक का उत्पादन होता था , किंतु वर्तमान में सिर्फ चार प्लांटों में ही नमक का उत्पादन हो रहा है। शेखावाटी में नमक उत्पादन करने वाली सबसे बड़ी झील रेवासा झील ही है । करीब 1000 एकड़ में फैली रेवासा झील में वर्तमान में नमक उत्पादन करने वाली अधिकांश इकाइयां बंद हो चुकी हैं।
