SOUTH SWEDISH ROAD TRIP PART 1 (4K)
Part 1 of our August 2020 South Swedish road trip. In this episode we drive from Gothenburg to Sölvesborg. Starting in rain but the weather got better the more south we came.
In Sölvesborg we arrive in sunshine at our friends Christel & Rolf’s place and have a nice dinner with fresh shrimps that we brought from Gothenburg.

The landscape
Blekinge's coastal strip offers a classic Swedish summer life. Here you can stay next to the sea, enjoy lovely swimming, beautiful days on the beach, good food and comfortable evening life. Blekinge is Sweden's smallest landscape on the mainland with approximately 160,000 inhabitants, yet there are 3 different parts with everything from the archipelago to the wilderness. The northern part has mostly forest and stone, which makes the soil challenging to grow. The middle section has leafy deciduous forest and many lakes. The southern region has a warm winter climate which makes deciduous trees such as beech, chestnut, walnut and fruit trees feel good.

A day trip to Listerlandet east of Sölvesborg including visits to fishing villages Hällevik, Nogersund with view towards the island Hanö, Hörvik and Krokås. A walk on the beach at Sandviken, a stop at Västra Näs and a fish lunch in Sölvesborg harbor. Ending at Tredenborgs Camping.
This is part 2 of our August 2020 South Swedish road trip.

Scandinavia - Southern Sweden [Solo trip]
The Scandinavian solo-trip continues in Southern Sweden. Meat balls, bunch of islands, breathtaking sunsets, viking museums and multi-culture nightlife. The journey took place via Malmo - Gothenbrug - Branno Island - Orebro - Stockholm - Gotland - Uppsala. Backpacking the whole southern part of the country in 1 month and again, it was a great experience. Enjoy the video!
