The Holy Trinity Monastery - Saharna, Moldova
David’s Been Here is touring all the top sites and best day trips from Moldova’s capital city of Chisinau. In this short clip, David brings us the Holy Trinity Monastery, located in the town of Saharna. A 90-minute drive out from Chisinau, this picturesque monastery is divided into both “new” and “old” parts, dating back to 1495 and 1777, respectively. Home to 16 resident monks, the relics of St. Cuvios Macarie and a “footprint” of St. Maria (on the monastery’s highest cliff), the Holy Trinity Monastery is the biggest religious pilgrimage site in the entire country. Also home to the Rock Cave Church of the Annunciation, follow David through the forest as he brings us to this incredible historic site- founded by Russian Orthodox monks back in 1495. With so much to see and do in and around the area, this trip out to Saharna is definitely a day trip from Chisinau well worth taking!

hello my friends. this is a map of Moldova. Moldova , officially the Republic of Moldova , is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Romania to the west and Ukraine to the north, east, and south. The unrecognised state of Transnistria lies across the Dniester river on the country's eastern border with Ukraine. Moldova's capital and largest city is Chișinău. The largest part of the country lies in Bessarabia region, between Prut and Dniester rivers, while a narrow strip in the east is located in Transnistria (east of the Dniester). The western border of Moldova is formed by the Prut river, which joins the Danube before flowing into the Black Sea. Moldova has access to the Danube for only about 480 m , and Giurgiulești is the only Moldovan port on the Danube. In the east, the Dniester is the main river, flowing through the country from north to south, receiving the waters of Răut, Bîc, Ichel, Botna. A two-hour drive from Chisinau, Soroca is home to the wealthiest community of Roma (or Gypsy) peoples in all of Eastern Europe. Explore the incredible architecture and history of this iconic town (dating back to 1740) with mansion-lined streets, the grand Soroca fortress (dating back to 1499), Candle of Gratitude and so much more. It’s one of the most unique and picturesque towns in all of Moldova, but visitors beware… it gets very cold!! Watch along as David and his guide warm up in the local style at Old Cellar Restaurant- over a hefty shot of Moldoka vodka. It might be strong, but it certainly does the trick! După s. Oxentea (Dubăsari) am descoperit un canion care duce la două cascade. Este un loc spectaculos care ma uimit și cu mare interes l-am explorat. În prezent cascadele sunt secate, apa curge foarte slab. Cascadele sunt înalte și uimitoare.
Foarte tare m-au uimit platformele mari de piatră care au fost nivelate în trecut de râul puternic care curgea prin acest loc. Pietrele sunt întratât de line parcă este suprafața oglinzii. Din acest fapt prin unele locuri este nevoie de traversat atent deoarece este foarte lușuios.

We made it to the stunning Moldovan countryside Village of Chișcăreni ????????
Were here for the best part of a week so we can really soak in the real Moldova away from the big cities and hustle and bustle.
This video is a quick house tour where we are staying for $20 a night, the family hosting us are incredible and cook the best traditional moldovan food.
Also we have a water well on the property which is absolutely class, we're living the real village life out here ????????

Satul Mărinești raionul Sângerei partea 2
Mărinești este un sat din cadrul comunei Sîngereii Noi din raionul Sîngerei, Republica Moldova.
Localitatea data este inregistrata oficial in anul 1932. Se afla la o distața de 18 km de la centrul raional Sangerei și 10 km de orașul Balți. De la drumul național Balți-Sarateni, pe traseul Mandreștii Noi – Cotiujenii Mici se numara exact 5 km pana la Marinești. Satele de hotar- Mandreștii Noi și Sangereii Noi. E o așezare cu relief de campie. De-a lungul traseului se intinde o alee de nuci. In centrul satului e un iaz nu prea mare, cu salcii plangatoare. La nord-vest se intinde padurea.
Echipa noastră de jurnaliști au continuat procesul de informare a locuitorilor din Satul Mărinești raionul Sângerei . Ca urmare am întâlnit 2 domni amabili , care ne-a oferit câteva minute pentru ai informa despre ajutoarele care au venit din partea României și Uniunea Europeană în ultimii ani. Echipa noastră s-au oferit ca ajutor pentru a informa sătenii despre ajutoarele prezent venite din România. Ca final jurnaliștii noștri au oferit o întrebare despre Unirea României cu Republica Moldova. Sătenii au avut o părere fascinantă despre România și cu mare drag au semnat o scrisoare de mulțumire către Parlamentul României.
