Beach 1: Ilhabela
Our first stop is Ilhabela, a beach that is a paradise for sailors, hikers, and nature lovers. This beach has a rich and diverse marine life that you can discover, with its coral reefs, sea turtles, and shipwrecks. An interesting fact about Ubatuba is that it has a long and fascinating history, dating back to the times of the Tupinambá Indians, who were the first inhabitants of this region.

Is this Really Brazil? Tropical Caribbean Island in Brazil? This is Ilhabela in Sao Paulo State

We’ve found the most amazing hidden gem in Brazil, a beautiful tropical island in Sao Paulo state called Ilhabela!

As soon as we arrived in Sao Paulo we hopped on a bus and a ferry and made our way to Ilhabela. It took about 5 hours by bus to get there (and a very short ferry ride).

On our first full day there we rent some bikes to explore the island. The main town has fantastic bike paths which made it so easy to get around. We biked outside of town and stopped at some beaches along the way.

Ilhabela seems to have some beautiful metal sculptures throughout the town and along our bike ride we found a whole series together that we think depicts the crucifixion of Jesus.

The bike paths ends at a gorgeous and quiet beach (Praia do Pequeá) that had one restaurant and hardly any other people. Here we flew the drone and enjoyed a caipirinha (a Brazilian cocktail).

How to spend 3 days in Ilhabela, Brazil? | Aliz’s Wonderland

Are you in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro and you are waiting for a weekend getaway?
Then let me introduce you the incredible island of Brazil called Ilhabela, which literally means “beautiful island”. Check out how we spent 3 days in Ilhabela discovering beaches, waterfalls and the jungle.

DAY 1 - GETTING TO ILHABELA FROM SÃO PAULO
From São Paulo we needed almost 5 hours to reach São Sebastião, where the ferry departs to Ilhabela. After the crossing, we checked in to our accommodation, Pousada Mirante da Praia Grande then headed to the beach, Praia Grande, located only a few minutes from the pousada.

DAY 2 - PRAIA DE CASTELHANOS TOUR WITH LANDPOINT TURISMO
On our 2nd day, we visited Praia Castelhanos, which is located on the eastern side of the island facing the Atlantic ocean.
The 4x4 vehicle of Landpoint Turismo tourist agency bought us to the beach through the jungle of the Ilhabela State Park. That 15 km road was shaky but amazingly beautiful and we had many stops like a natural pool and viewpoints. The 1,5 km long sandy beach of Praia de Castelhanos is one of the most beautiful in Ilhabela.

DAY 3 - WATERFALLS AND BEACHES
Our original plan was to attend a boat tour to Praia Bonete located on the southern part of Ilhabela. Though the weather wasn't that promising, so we decided to explore different parts of the island.
Cachoeira 3 tombos was around 5 minutes drive from our accommodation, so we left the car at the entrance of the trail, and started the 700 m long walk. The waterfall has 3 drops, all of them are beautiful and unique in their way and well connected with the trail.
After the waterfall, we attempted to discover other beaches like Praia Veloso or Praia Curral. The parking places close to the beach were overpriced, so we left the car at our free parking space of the accommodation and after 10 minutes of walking, we reached Praia do Julião.
This beach is smaller and more tranquil than Praia Grande. At its sides, big rocks can be found in the water, where many people were snorkelling and looking for fishes in the clean water.

DAY 4 - THE WAY BACK TO SÃO PAULO
After our last breakfast in Pousada Mirante da Praia Grande we checked out and on the way to the ferry station we stopped at a viewpoint called, Mirante do Piúva, where a huge “I love Ilhabela” sign is located.
Finally, we headed to the ferry station and said goodbye to Ilhabela.

Camburi is a beach on the north coast of São Paulo in the municipality of São Sebastião. It is 37 km from the city center and 167 km from São Paulo.[1]

There are two versions of the meaning of the name Camburi. One of them would be the river bass, due to the amount of bass fish that go up the river, one of the few that exchange salt water for fresh water. The other would be a river that changes, because from time to time the river changes its trajectory, sometimes emptying into Camburi beach, sometimes at Camburizinho beach.

The sea is quite rough, with a light blue-green color. The beach is cut by the Camburi River and the fine white sand is predominant.

The beach is frequented by a large number of tourists and surfers. Camburi beach is separated from Camburizinho beach by a river that flows into a small island. It has a permanent lifeguard station for the Fire Department. It has campsites, hotels, inns, market and caiçara craft shops. Close to the border with the city of Bertioga, an indigenous village is located.

On the side of Camburizinho beach is the Vilela hill, where in 1999 a take-off area for free flight was created.

???????? Calhetas, São Sebastião #shorts

Wacth the full video:

This paradise is located in a well-hidden, but signposted, entrance on the Rio-Santos Highway,
10km from Maresias and 17km from São Sebastião. To be more precise, it is between the beaches of Toque Toque Pequeno and Toque Toque Grande.

A piece of exotic and wild beach hidden behind the hill, although few people know it because it has access through a private condominium,
where vehicles are not allowed and parking is not allowed on the banks of the Rio Santos, it is one of the most beautiful beaches on the north coast, it presents a natural beauty,
from the concierge to the beach there is a short 10-minute walk.

The beach of Calhetas is undoubtedly a paradise, but it does not offer any structure of tents or shops, so take what you need to take.

The beach is divided in two, in the right corner is the best area for swimming, with white sand, but with waves, and on the left side there are more stones but the sea is calmer and calmer.

At the junction of these two beaches there is a viewpoint, called Ponta de Calhetas, as soon as you reach the strip of sand you will already see in front of you a small hill with steps,
from up there you have a view of the entire beach and from where you will be able to take the best pictures, one of the activities that also take place there,
is a trail that leads to a waterfall and watching the sunset over the sea.
