Ever since I first learned about the city of Rio de Janeiro when I was a kid growing up, I have wanted to visit. Finally, the time has come. In this Brazilian street food tour in Rio de Janeiro, we’ll go to eat some of the best street food snacks and dishes, some hole in the wall style Brazilian food restaurants, and also visit some of the most unbelievable and gorgeous sights and attractions in Rio de Janeiro. It’s one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever visited.
Here’s the Brazilian food and things we did:
Mineiro, Sausage Sandwich - 5 BRL ($1.26) - For Brazilian breakfast we headed to Mineiro for his neighborhood grilled sausage sandwich, topped with his house made aioli dressing, cheese, and lettuce, and his own home-made chili sauce. He’s not only an amazing guy, but his sausage sandwich is outstanding. When you’re in Rio de Janeiro, you don’t want to miss it. Located just outside Siqueira Campos MRT Metro station (Map: sets up in the morning about 7 am.
Trem do Corcovado - 65 BRL ($16.44) - Christ the Redeemer - I pre-bought tickets online for the tram, so when we arrived we just picked up and printed the tickets. The tram took about 20 minutes and Christ The Redeemer at the top was breathtaking.
Selaron Steps - Another attraction in Rio de Janeiro that I wasn’t going to miss was the Selaron Steps, created by Chilean artist Selaron. They are so cool and so iconic.
Lunch at Bar Rex - For some seriously meaty Brazilian food, Bar Rex is the spot. They serve an major selection of drinks, but they also specialize in food like roasted chicken, sausages, and the oxtail. The food was outstanding, and the owners are just so cool. Location:
Ipanema Beach - World famous, one of the most well known beaches in the world, and for a good reason - the scenery is spectacular. We had a tea with Marcelo (5 BRL ($1.26) and then tried some of the Brazilian local favorite comfort Biscoito Globo cassava snacks. Finally, another iconic Brazilian drink is the caipirinha (15 BRL ($3.79) made on the beach.
Copacabana Beach - Next up on this Brazilian street food and attractions tour we stopped at the famous Copacabana Beach and had a coconut (6.50 BRL ($1.64) and continued on the Red Beach in Urca to get a good view of Sugarloaf Mountain (Pão de Açúcar).
Bar Urca - Also in Urca, you’ll find Bar Urca, an old food and bar establishment that’s famous for serving empada de camarão (6.50 BRL ($1.64), shrimp filled pastries. Many people order and then sit on the edge of the water in the evening. Location:
Bar Gato de Botas - A Brazilian boteco is a bar and restaurant that serves small plates of food similar to tapas. The owner of Bar Gato de Botas is a legend and his plates of Brazilian food are delicious. Location:
Brazilian meat kebabs - Finally to end this incredible street food tour of Rio de Janeiro, we returned back to the same spot where we had breakfast, but in the evening, a different yet equally friendly man sets up selling Brazilian meat kebas and home cooked Brazilian food. When you order a kebab, you can get it stopped with cassava powder and drenched in hot sauce - it was so good. Location: Sets up in the evening about 6 pm.
Rio de Janeiro is a beautiful city and this Brazilian street food tour and attraction in Rio was amazing - the food, the people, the scenery.

Neste vídeo coloco as 10 maiores empresas de onibus do Brasil considerando o patrimonio líquido no ano de 2010.
Patrimonio Liquido é a diferença entre ativos e passivos da empresa, onibus que fazem parte da frota mas que foram comprados por financiamento (100% dos onibus são comprados assim), não entram na conta de ativos até serem totalmente pagos. Em palavras claras, patrimonio liquido é aquilo que os sócios e acionistas possuem de direito na empresa.
A fonte da informação é a revista Maiores e Melhores do grupo Transporte Moderno, a fonte é confiável e com certeza é uma das únicas fontes desse meio onde vários busólogos são cheios de ''achismos.
A discussão sempre é polemica, por falta de fontes confiáveis em nosso meio, os dados são de 2012, certamente hoje deve haver alguma alteração nessas posições, principalmente uma queda da Itapemirim e crescimento da 1001 e Cometa, mas não há fontes mais atualizadas que essa. Assim que tiver fontes mais atuais farei outro vídeo.
Em tamanho da frota, passageiros por KM e outros com certeza os números são diferentes, mas não há base atualizada para tal.

???????? Street Walk São Luís - Brazil -4K
São Luís (frequentemente chamado de São Luís do Maranhão) é um município brasileiro e a capital do estado do Maranhão. É a única cidade brasileira fundada por franceses, no dia 8 de setembro de 1612,[8] posteriormente invadida por holandeses[9] e por fim colonizada pelos portugueses. Localiza-se na ilha de Upaon-Açu no Atlântico Sul, entre as baías de São Marcos e São José de Ribamar, no Golfão Maranhense. Em 1621 quando o Brasil foi dividido em duas unidades administrativas — Estado do Maranhão e Estado do Brasil — São Luís foi a capital da primeira unidade administrativa. No ano de 1997 o centro histórico da cidade foi declarado patrimônio cultural da humanidade pela UNESCO.
Com uma população estimada em 1 108 975 habitantes, São Luís é o município mais populoso do Maranhão e o quarto da Região Nordeste. Sua área é de 831,7 km², desse total 283 km² estão em perímetro urbano (12ª maior área urbana do país).[10] O município é sede da Região de Planejamento da Ilha do Maranhão (composta pelos 4 municípios localizados na ilha de Upaon-Açu) e da Região Metropolitana de São Luís composta por 13 municípios que totalizam 1.633.117 habitantes.[11] O Índice de Desenvolvimento Humano (IDH) de São Luís, segundo dados das Nações Unidas datados do ano 2010, é de 0,768 acima da média brasileira, o 3ª melhor IDH entre as capitais da região Nordeste do Brasil, e 4ª entre todos os 1.794 municípios da região.[12]
A capital maranhense tem um forte setor industrial por conta de grandes corporações e empresas de diversas áreas que se instalaram na cidade pela sua privilegiada posição geográfica entre as regiões Norte e Nordeste do país. Seu litoral estrategicamente localizado bem mais próximo de grandes centros importadores de produtos brasileiros como Europa e Estados Unidos, permite economia de combustíveis e redução no prazo de entrega de mercadorias provenientes do Brasil pelo Porto de Itaqui,[13] que é o segundo mais profundo do mundo e um dos mais movimentados e bem estruturados para o comércio exterior no país[14]
A cidade está ligada ao interior do estado e ao estado do Piauí pela ferrovia São Luís-Teresina, bem como aos estados vizinhos Pará e Tocantins por meio das ferrovias Estrada de Ferro Carajás e Ferrovia Norte-Sul, sendo que esta última conecta a cidade a Região Centro-Oeste o que facilita e barateia a escoação agrícola do interior do país para o porto de Itaqui. Por rodovia, a capital maranhense é servida pela BR-135 (duplicada) que a liga a ilha ao continente, e pelo transporte aéreo conta com o Aeroporto Internacional Marechal Cunha Machado,[15] com capacidade de atender 5.900.000 passageiros por ano.[16] Também há um serviço de ferry-boats, realizando a Travessia São Luís-Alcântara.[17]

St. Louis is a city and the capital of the state of Maranhão, Brazil. It is the only Brazilian city founded by the French, on September, 1612 and was later invaded by the Dutch. Then it was colonized by the Portuguese. Located on the island of Upaon-Acu, in the South Atlantic, between the bays of São Marcos and São José de Ribamar. In 1621, when Brazil was divided into two administrative units - and the state of Maranhão state in Brazil - St. Louis was the capital of the first administrative unit.
The capital of Maranhão has a developed industrial sector for big corporations and many areas that have settled in the city due to its privileged geographic position between the North and Northeast regions of the country, its coastline strategically located very close to major shopping importers of products Brazilians like Europe and the United States, allowing fuel economy and reduction in delivery of goods from Brazil through the Port of Itaqui which is the second deepest in the world and one of the busiest, sophisticated and well structured to foreign trade in Brazil.
The city is connected to the state through a railway line and also to the neighboring states of Pará, Tocantins and Piauí which facilitates and cheapens agricultural escoação coming from the countryside to the port of Itaqui, and, with the completion the North-South Railway, the city will be linked to all Brazilian regions by rail. On the highway, the island is already served by the BR-135. linking it to the mainland, and air, has the Marechal Cunha Machado International Airport, with capacity to serve more than a million passengers each year and operates with demand already almost saturated by the intense movement of passengers not only from City of St. Louis, but also serve as a gateway for being the largest and busiest airport next to the National Park Maranhenses .
The climate is tropical in St. Louis and semiúmido. This is because the city is located near the Intertropical Convergence Zone. The city features lots of palm trees and lots of coastal vegetation. There are small areas of Amazon rainforest that resisted the process of urbanization of the city, all protected by environmental parks. Small rivers are born in the city: among them, the Rio Bacanga is the most important because it is very useful for fishing .
In 2010, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics counted the population at 1,014,837, making it the fifteenth largest city in Brazil between 5565 Brazilian municipalities, 13 ° between the capitals, 4th in the Northeast of Brazil and 1 ° of Maranhão. Its area is 831.7 km ², and 157.5656 km ² of the total are in the urban area. [18]. The municipality is part of the Greater Region and North Maranhense Microregion the Urban Agglomeration of St. Louis, located north of the state of Maranhão. The Human Development Index of the municipality is 0.778, compared to the high rate of human desevolvimento of Maranhão
