What are the reasons why to visit Brazil? Brazil, with a population of 214 million people, is one of four countries that can influence the pace of this century. Together with India and China, whose economy is undergoing a transformation, Brazil has the potential to become a worldwide tourism destination. The country has hosted world-class events, including the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games. You too could be attracted by the beaches, the carnival, the animals, or the music. There are simply too many nice things that you won’t be able to ignore here for long. Let’s take a look at 10 reasons why you should visit Brazil on your next holiday.
10. Music and dance
Brazil is a country full of rhythms. You will find yourself listening to the sound of traffic from time to time. Classic bossa nova songs are popular among teenagers. However, there is no generation gap in music as youths listen to the same music as their parents. MPB, or modern Brazilian pop, encompasses a wide range of musical styles. Even though the samba is the most popular dance in Brazil, there are a variety of other genres, such as forró funk, which is often represented by the image of a pair executing the chick dance and axé, which turns nightclubs into a type of choreographed musical. Visitors don’t need to know every dance, nor do they need to be familiar with the music that goes along with it. It will be sufficient if you have the necessary zeal and desire to appreciate the beat.
9. The wildlife
Brazil’s wealth of biological diversity is astounding. More than a third of all the world’s species, including more than 3,000 kinds of fish, can be found in the Amazon. Those interested in birding can visit the Pantanal, the world’s biggest marsh, in the Brazilian state of Matto Grosso do Sul, where they can discover new species. When you can walk into the forest, you will be amazed by piranhas, anacondas, and even alligators. The country is home to several rare species of plants. If you love to learn about the adventures of the past generations, that provides another reason why you should visit Brazil. 7. Beaches
White sand beaches can be seen almost wherever you turn to in Brazil. This is a beach country, with approximately 4,660 miles of coastline and a lovely tropical environment, which makes it a popular tourist destination. The most well-known beaches are Copacabana and Ipanema, both of which are located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Cabo Fro, on the other hand, has the fine white sand that is characteristic of the Caribbean. In the northeast regions, the cities of Jericoacoara, Natal, and Morro do Sao Paulo are also worthwhile stops as their beaches are among the reasons why you should visit Brazil.
6. The carnival
Nothing can prepare you for the spectacular Carnival show featuring everything from gigantic parades within the Rio Sambadrome to riotous street parties and festivals. You need to visit Brazil during this time to see how the entire country bursts in excitement. Regardless of the socio-economic divides that exist between them, Carnival draws all Brazilians together to celebrate. What began as a Catholic tradition of abstaining from meat for the duration of Lent has grown into the greatest and most dramatic yearly event you can imagine. It will be one of the most exciting festivals that you will ever participate in.
