Malawi's Most Beautiful District? A Mulanje Vlog

Take a trip with us to one of Malawi's most beautiful districts, Mulanje! Made famous by the towering Mulanje Massif. The mountain peaks at 3,002 metres above sea level. The highest point in Malawi. But whether you are above or below, there's plenty of beauty to behold.

So enjoy our vlog as we find hidden waterfalls, visit classic lodges and drive through unending green tea fields.

Tip: Price for Kara O'Mula Country Lodge single standard room is 45,000 MK (~$46) including breakfast (which was bountiful)

Malawi's Hidden Wildlife Reserve & Mzuzu Gems #malawi #travelvlog

Join us as we journey to the northern region of Malawi! Famous for its rolling hills and beautiful scenery. We start off by visiting what can be considered the capital of the north: Mzuzu.

Mzuzu town is quiet and quaint with gems like Macondo Camp boasting different accommodation options ranging in price. We paid 55,000 MWK (~$55) for an en-suite room for the night (no breakfast included). The restaurant here has a fantastic Italian menu. Even if not staying here you must come for lunch or dinner! You can find them on Instagram or Facebook.

Then we head further north into Rumphi district boma and pass by the Vwaza Wildlife Reserve (or Vwaza Marsh). One of Malawi's beautiful but less often visited wildlife reserves. It's extremely basic but perhaps that's what makes it magical. It's only $10 per night to sleep here in a chalet (plus park & vehicle costs). Find out more using this number: +265 995198153

Road Trip - From South Africa to Malawi || 3 days Road Trip to Malawi.

Hello Explorers ????!

I hope this Video will give you a picture of what is like to travel on a bus from South Africa to Malawi.

Normally, the bus takes 26hrs from Johannesburg to Lilongwe but, during holidays (eg: Easter or Christmas ) roads are always full of traffic. That’s why it took me 3 days to get home. But despite all that, I had an amazing time! I spent the whole 10 days with my lovely son ❤️…. I know 10 days wasn’t enough, that’s why I had no time to film while I was there.

I hope you will enjoy watching ????

Episode 10 - Livingstonia to Mzuzu Road - Malawi ????????

A sublime twisty road, paved with fresh black tarmac that leads from Livingstonia to Mzuzu that carves through the rolling hills. Still, a part of it is still unpaved but could be ridden on any bike.

It's by far the best road I've ridden on. This road was designed for motorbikes in mind.

MALAWI : 10 FAITS INTÉRESSANTS SUR Ce Pays d'Afrique Australe

On the road in Malawi

At the end of April 2018 I was lucky enough to visit Malawi and found that it does indeed live up to its slogan as the warm heart of Africa. After spending the night at the lovely Kumbali Lake Retreat (owned by the same family as the superb Kumbali Country Lodge in Lilongwe - see my video here: we drove south to the transfer point for the Blue Zebra Island Lodge (video here: On the way I stuck my DJI Osmo out the car window and later put these clips together so you can get a taste of real life in Malawi - watch in 4K if you can. Hope you enjoy it, more videos from Malawi are on the way :-)
