We are crossing now The Beskid mountains over Glinne Pass into Slovakia. The road is beautiful and offers nice views to the mountains around, reaching to High Tatra as we descend from the pass to Námestovo. It was a great evening drive, through a very natural area, with a dense network of hiking and biking trails. Enjoy!

A Rail Trip Through The Scenic Hills of Eastern Slovakia - ZSSK 861 DMU Review
Hello, and welcome back to another train trip report on my channel.
In this video I will be travelling on-board a ZSSK 861 diesel unit from Prešov to Hanušovce nad Topľou. I had intended to continue through to Humenné, but unfortunately there were rail replacement buses in operation past Hanušovce nad Topľou.
This journey takes us through the hills of Slovakia's Prešov region. It's just a regional route, so plenty of peaceful villages and small towns can be seen on the journey. Usually, the service is operated by an impressive ZSSK 757 diesel locomotive with carriages, however thanks to the disruption today, it was relegated to these Slovak-built units.

Bratislava | Journey to Slovakia ???????? | Part 1
Finally a new adventure once again! This time a bit closer to home and to the neighboring country of Slovakia. Once not so long ago Slovakia and the Czech republic used to be one and the same country but even back then they still had their own identity. Now fast forward 30 years and you can see both difference and similarities.
This time we take the train for a ride across the boarder into the main capital city of Slovakia, Bratislava. After a ride of 4,5 hours I finally arrived in a capital city that somehow does not feel like one.
First impression matter for sure and that is a good thing for this city. It's part one of some..(still haven't figured out how many) More to come about all the touristic locations. If you want to see more about upcoming videos and countries do make sure to follow my Instagram!
