Baden Switzerland Thermal Bath City Aargau Schweiz 4K
Baden is a beautiful thermal bath city of the Canton Aargau in Switzerland. The city is located in the densely populated Limmat Valley, 21 kilometres northwest of Zurich.
Baden is a cultural and spa town, wellness destination, conference venue and shopping paradise all in one. Hardly any other place offers such a wide range of tourism and leisure activities as the city on the river Limmat. The natural warmth and power of the thermal springs have been used for 2,000 years. To this day, one million litres of Switzerland's most mineral-rich thermal water bubble up daily at a temperature of 47°C from 18 sulphur springs.
The history of Baden dates back to the 1st century AD, when the Romans began to use the warm thermal springs in what was then Aquae Helveticae. The Habsburgs formally founded the town in 1297. The Confederates conquered the town in 1415 and it was a subject town, but had a special position as a spa and the most important meeting place of the Confederate sessions.

Switzerland - Highlights of the Alps
This is a guided Viking River Cruise tour of the highlights of the Swiss Alps. We visited Brienz, a town next to a lake, where we were treated to a woodcarving demo. Followed by a gradual uphill drive to see The Eiger, The Jungfrau, The Lauberhorn mountains. We had lunch at Kleine Scheidegg, a mountain pass at an elevation 6762 ft below and between The Eiger and The Laubenhorn. Lastly, a stop at Interlocken to view The Jungfrau from a distance. We were blessed with a wonderful sunny day that showed off the peaks of the majestic mountains. The video background music is from iTunes royalty free music selections.
