Quatis é um município na Microrregião do Vale do Paraíba Fluminense, no estado do Rio de Janeiro, no Brasil.
Se emancipou do município de Barra Mansa em 1990, juntamente com os distritos de Falcão e Ribeirão de São Joaquim. Localiza-se a uma latitude 22º24'26 sul e a uma longitude 44º15'29 oeste, estando a uma altitude de 415 metros. Sua população estimada em 2014 é de 13 415 habitantes.
Possui uma área de 286,244 km², dos quais 2,254 km² estão em zona urbana. Possui a seguinte divisão político-administrativa: Quatis (sede), Ribeirão de São Joaquim (2º distrito) e Falcão (3º distrito).

Iguazu Falls - City Video Guide
Iguazú Falls is almost 2 miles wide and is not one, but an astonishing 275 waterfalls. Eighty percent of the falls lies in Argentina and twenty percent in Brazil, which is why the falls has two names: ‘Iguazú’ in Spanish and ‘Iguaçu’ in Portuguese.
Follow the boardwalk trail through the jungle and stand on viewing platforms over the falls. Feel humbled by the power of the tumbling water mass below you. In the wet season, 450,000 cubic feet thunders over the combined falls each second!
Enjoy a more serene frontal view of the falls from the viewing points in Brazil. From here, the river seems to drape itself over the edge like a curtain.
Take a journey beneath the falls on a speedboat safari. If you’d rather stay dry, take a helicopter ride over the U-shaped series of falls to see how it forms a dramatic chasm in the earth’s surface.
Getting to Iguazú Falls is easy: there are nearby airports in Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. You can even stay the night in the national park.
Though it may not be the tallest, largest or most powerful waterfall in the world, Iguazú Falls is certainly one of the most picturesque.

Visit Exciting UNESCO Iguacu Falls, Brazil Side
We spent 2 days in Foz do Iguacu, visiting the UNESCO falls on both sides of the border. One day in Brazil, one day in Argentina.
The falls are spelled Iguacu in Brazil; Iguazu in Argentina and has to be seen in person to really appreciate. No video or photo can do it justice. And watch out for those nasty Coati - vicious little critters.

On our first full day in Iguazu we set off for the Brazil side of the falls. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great, but had a great time anyway! If you're worried about the forecast while visiting, don't let a little rain ruin your trip, you're going to get wet anyway!

Better than drone view of Iguazu Falls Helicopter
A wonderful Brazilian city on the border of the waterfalls called Cataratas in Foz do Iguaçu (pt) Iguazu Falls (en). This side is known to have closest views of the waterfalls whereas the Argentinean side is known to have a wider more fuller view. My recommendation is to go on a cloudy day because you won't have to wait in long lines. When I went, it took less than 5 minutes to get into the park and as you can see the sights are still amazing. On a sunny day, do the helicopter ride which is R$400 for 10 minutes or do both on the same day.
If you want to get wet, you can do a separate boat ride at an additional cost after entering the park.

O poder de se contar uma boa história vai muito além de pessoas, ou de uma sociedade. Contos e causos transformam o que há além de nós, aquilo que fazemos em vida, progride para muito além, passando de gerações em gerações. Edimburgo mostra bem isso. Suas tradições, suas origens… tudo isso nos marca e se perpetua.
Mas com toda certeza, o que consegue modificar uma sociedade é o quão cultural ela é. Levar cultura para o mundo, ao mesmo tempo que absorve a cultura de lá é algo que amo fazer em todas minhas viagens. Quando pude visitar Glasgow não foi diferente. Todo lugar me transforma, todo lugar me mostra um novo modo de ser.
A pessoa que eu era ontem, antes de conhecer a Escócia não existe mais, é passado. Cada gota de cultura e história que cai no balde da nossa mente rega tudo que podemos e que devemos ser. A viagem para as terras altas me mudou, me transformou e me fez ser melhor. Por isso que sempre digo, como é bom viajar!
