Chandragiri Fort is a fort built in the 17th century, situated in Kasaragod District of Kerala, South India. This large squarish fort is 150 feet above sea level and occupies an area of about seven acres by the side of the river Payaswini. The fort is now in ruins. The fort has an eventful history.
Ananthapadmanabhaswamy Temple or Anantha Lake Temple is a Hindu temple built in the middle of a lake in the little village of Ananthapura, around 6 km from the town of Kumbla in Manjeswaram taluk of Kasaragod District of Kerala, South India.
Bela Church, also Our Lady of Sorrows Church, is a Roman Catholic church in the Kasargode district of Kerala state, South India, 15 km north of Kasaragod, 50km away from Mangalore. It was built in 1890 and is thus the oldest church in the district.
Hosdurg Fort is a fort in Kanhangad which is part of Kasaragod district in Kerala state. Hosdurg Fort with its round bastion looks imposing from a distance. Somashekara Nayaka from the Keladi Nayaka dynasty of Ikkeri built this fort. The place is made well known by the Nithyanandasram with 45 caves

Bekal is a small town in the Kasaragod district on the West coast of the state of Kerala, India. There are several attractions in the area: the giant keyhole shaped Bekal Fort, the golden expanse of a beautiful beach surrounding the fort, backwaters and hill destinations and the water sport facilities nearby.
Bekal is a coastal town It’s known for 17th-century Bekal Fort, built in the shape of a keyhole, which has red-brick towers overlooking the Arabian Sea. Adjoining the fort is Mukhyaprana Temple, dedicated to the Hindu monkey god, Hanuman. Sandy Bekal Beach stretches southwards. North of the town, peaceful Kappil Beach adjoins the backwaters of the Kappil River.

Bekal Fort is an excellent tourist destination for travelers who are visiting Managalore Or North Kerala. It’s a good place for tourist to experience our cultural heritage and also one can unwind here and relax with cool breeze from the mighty Arabic Sea
Getting to Bekal Fort is easy from both Managalore and Kasargod. It is about 16 Km from Kasaragod (Kerala) railway station and about 70 Km from Mangalore, Karnataka.June to December is best time to visit this place when the monsoon hits the cost and summer is over.
Bekal Fort is the largest fort in Kerala, and also is well preserved and maintained by authorities. Bekal Fort offers a excellent view of the Arabian Sea from its tall observation towers.
The fort has several tall observatories, circular bastions which almost touches the beach, beautiful park developed inside the fort and the wonderful Bekal Fort beach.
A very famous song from movie Bombay (1995), Tu Hi Re was shot completely here. Bekal fort has server as shooting place for many other movies.
