The key industry is the oil Pipe line connecting both Panama coast and see the large tanker ships which dock here.

New Pier Concept for Puerto Armuelles
January 2020, AMP announced the concept of the new pier and rehabilitation of the old pier in Puerto Armuelles. Tender will be public April 1, 2020 and construction is expected to begin by the end of the year. The entire project is estimated to take about 2 years. In episode seven of our Panama Travel Guide, we dig into when to visit Panama. Are you looking for calm Pacific waters lapping the sand at your feet, or huge crashing waves to lull you asleep at night? Both options are possible, but usually at very different times of the year along the Pacific Coast.
We've been to Panama several times, and this time for three months. It took a while to understand their weather patterns but hopefully after this video you'll have a better understanding of the weather & seasons in this fascinating country.
