Number 7. MUSEO DE LA NACION (NATIONAL MUSEUM)
Museo de la Nacion (National Museum)
The Museo de la Nacion is the best place to start learning about Peru's ancient history and culture. It is the largest museum in Lima. From the first people who lived there to the Inca Empire, the museum shows all of Peru's archaeological history. Exhibits of ceramics and textiles, along with scale models of archaeological sites such as Machu Picchu and the Nazca lines are arranged in chronological order to show the progression from one culture to the next.
Number 6. MIRAFLORES
Miraflores
Miraflores is a neighbourhood on the cliffs above the ocean, just south of the centre of Lima. It has a mix of modern glass-and-steel office buildings, beautiful old colonial homes, and a lot of green space. Here is where you can find shops and restaurants that serve the New Peruvian food that is getting attention from chefs all over the world. Along the cliff tops that look out over the water, there are beautiful parks and green spaces. Hang gliders often fly from the cliffs above surfers in the water below.
Number 5.PARQUE DEL AMOR (LOVE PARK)
Parque del Amor (Love Park)
A must thing to do in Lima, is visiting Parque del Amor.. You won't find a more romantic place to watch the sunset than the Parque del Amor (Park of Love) on the Malecón in Miraflores. Mosaic designs made of tiny tiles cover the walls, and they are often compared to the ones Antoni Gaud made for Barcelona, Spain's Parc Güell. Lines from Peruvian poets like Abelardo Sánchez León and Augusto Tamayo Vargas are worked into the mosaics.
Number 4.CIRCUITO MÁGICO DEL AGUA (MAGIC WATER TOUR) IN THE PARK OF RESERVE
Circuito Magico del Agua (Magic Water Tour) in the Park of the Reserve
In 2007, the Magic Water Tour opened in the Park of the Reserve. Within a year, two million people had gone on the tour. With 13 different fountains, it is the largest fountain complex in the world. The Fuente Mágica is the biggest and shoots a jet of water more than 80 metres high. The Fuente Tnel de las Sorpresas is a 35-meter tunnel of water that you can walk through.
Number 3.CATHEDRAL
Cathedral
On the east side of the Plaza de Armas, Lima's cathedral takes up most of the space. The first cathedral was built in 1535, and in 1564, it was made bigger based on the design of the cathedral in Seville, Spain. It was damaged by an earthquake in 1687, and the big one in 1746 almost destroyed it. However, it was quickly fixed up to look the way it does now. Check out the beautiful carved choir, the carving of Jesus in the chapel of St. John the Baptist, and the Spanish Baroque altars.
Number 2. CONVENTO DE SAN FRANCISCO
Convento de San Francisco
Most people know about the catacombs under San Francisco church and its monastery. About 10,000 people were buried there when it was Lima's first cemetery. Under the church, there is a labyrinth of small, bone-lined hallways. In one place, bones and skulls are arranged in a geometric pattern in a large round hole, making it look like a piece of art. If Mass is going on upstairs, the sound echoes through the catacombs in a scary way.

Plaza de Armas
If you wonder what to do in Lima, you definitely have to visit Plaza de Armas. This large square, which is also called Plaza Mayor, is the historical centre of Lima and the best place to start when you want to see the city. Most of the buildings from the original city were destroyed in an earthquake in 1746. The bronze fountain in the centre of Lima's Plaza de Armas, which was built in 1651, is the only original building that is still there. After the earthquake, the buildings on Plaza de Armas were rebuilt, and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

CALCA, PERU ???????? TRAVELING TO A RANDOM PERUVIAN CITY WITHOUT A PLAN
Today we travel to a random city in Peru without knowing anything about it. We take a colectivo to a town nearby (Calca) and explore the place. The Covid 19 pandemic is still in full force, so travel isn't easy, and towns are mostly empty. Calca is a city in the Sacred Valley region, close to Pisac, and so it was not hard to get to. We have some Peruvian food, make someone's day, and see what Calca has to offer. Because of the covid pandemic, most things are closed in the city, so we don't get to see everything. Overall, this is a weird day, driving to a town we know nothing about, walking around, and exploring a new place in Peru we haven't been. This is the Calca Peru Covid 19 travel vlog.

Rumi Pampa se encuentra ubicado en Cineguilla Km 34 de la carretera Lima - Huarochirí. Hay 2 opciones para llegar, de la Molina se toma un carro al Cineguilla (paradero Río Seco) y de ahí se toma un colectivo a 5 soles. La segunda es tomar un colectivo desde el mercado de frutas de San Luis.

Puedes desarrollar diversas actividades como: Alimentar a los animalitos de la granja, bañartes en sus Cochas, caminar por ruta Inca Qhapaq Ñan, ver los tambos y las piedras sagradas Wankas.

Lo chévere de este lugar es que puedes llevar tus propios alimentos. También hay una zona de camping y puedes hacer tu parrilla. También hay restaurante dentro del fundo.

Join us in this video as we show you the top 10 things there are to do in HUACACHINA, an incredible little desert oasis in central PERU.
Huacachina is a village built around an oasis located ~5km from the city of Ica. It was originally a naturally formed oasis, but increased well drilling in the region reduced the underground water supply to the lagoon. As such, local business groups have started pumping water in the lake since 2015.
Huacachina is also the ADVENTURE CAPITAL of Peru, where you can go for exhilarating dune buggy rides, see the oasis from above by paragliding, and race dune the dunes onboard a sand board or sand skis!
