Come join us as we visit Hvar, Croatia in this travel guide covering 10 things to do in Hvar including top attractions and food experiences. The city of Hvar (Grad Hvar - Lesina) is located on Hvar Island and is easy to reach via Split. Visiting in the off-season meant many businesses were starting to close; however, we had many moments wandering around where we felt like we had Hvar to ourselves. Aside from some rainy days we made the most of our sunny days in Hvar exploring as much as we could by foot.

10 Things to do in Hvar, Croatia Travel Guide Video Transcript:
We have finally made it to one of my dream destinations. We're in Hvar, Croatia so and oh my it is beautiful. Today we have blue skies so we're just going to run around like crazy to show you guys Hvar.
As you probably already know, we never start sightseeing without a good meal, so the first item on our list was to find some breakfast. This proved to be a little tricky considering we were visiting during low season, but after a few false starts we settled down at BB Club for shakshuka, omelettes, nutella crepes and cappuccinos.
With bellies full, we were ready explore and our eyes were set on the fortress, which is the focal point when you gaze up from the Old Town.
Reaching the fortress means walking straight uphill, but there are a few scenic stops along the way, including a beautiful park, a seemingly abandoned church, and plenty of lookouts where you can admire the town and the harbour.
After visiting the fort, we came back to the Old Town and decided to go on a little walk along the waterfront. We hadn’t packed any bathing suits and it was too late in the season to go for a swim, but Audrey was set on testing out the turquoise waters.
Continuing our wander through Hvar Town without a particular place or direction in mind, we then came across a medieval Venetian bell tower that we had noticed peeking through the buildings. The bell tower is part of the Ruins of the Dominican Monastery and St. Mark's Church, and while the structure is closed off, it’s still a cool landmark to visit.
We went to KOGO which is located in the main square just footsteps from St. Stephen’s Cathedral. They specialize in pizzas and pastas, and everything was so tasty!
Lastly, to finish up our 1-day tour of Hvar Town, we walked back to the marina, this time heading left in the direction of the Franciscan Monastery, where we were treated to a magical sunset complete with live music.

Konjic - Bosna i Hercegovina | 4K
Konjic je grad i naseljeno mjesto na krajnjem sjeveru planinske Hercegovine, u centralnom dijelu Bosne i Hercegovine, u kotlini sa obje strane rijeke Neretve i oko ušća Neretvine pritoke Trešanice.
Konjic graniči sa općinama: Prozor-Rama, Gornji Vakuf, Fojnica, Kreševo, Hadžići, Kalinovik, Trnovo, Nevesinje, Jablanica i Mostar. Grad Konjic teritorijalno zauzima 1.386.6 km2 ili 2,60 % od teritorije Bosne i Hercegovine, koji naseljava oko 25.000 stanovnika, naseljenih u 175 sela i naselja, organizovanih u 16 mjesnih zajednica.
Područje grada Konjica se prostire na nadmorskoj visini od 270 m (nivo Jablaničkog jezera) do 2.155 m (planina Prenj). Na konjičkom području nalaze se planinski masivi: Prenja, Visočice, Bjelašnice, Treskavice i Vranice, a dobrim dijelom u ovo područje zadiru i obronci Crvnja. Područje grada Konjica ukrašeno je mnoštvom rijeka i jezera sa bisernom ljepoticom rijekom Neretvom i čudesnim kanjonom Rakitnice, te Boračkim i Jablaničkim jezerom.
Prirodne ljepote, bogatstvo biljnog i životinjskog svijeta, te veliki šumski i vodeni potencijali predstavljaju osnovu za razvoj drvoprerađivačke djelatnosti, poljoprivrede, stočarstva, voćarstva, turizma i drugih grana. Join us as we visit Zadar, Croatia in this travel guide covering some of the best attractions and top 10 things to do in the city. Located along Dalmatian coast overlooking the Adriatic Sea, Zadar happens to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in Croatia. Let's visit Zadar, Croatia together as we cover 10 of the best things to do in Zadar in this travel guide.
Our first stop was Queen Jelena Madijevka Park which has the distinction of being the oldest public park in Croatia. The park looks over the Land Gate which is the main entrance to the Old Town.
During the 16th century, the Venetians helped Zadar withstand the Turkish sieges by building a large water cistern with five wellheads, giving this square its name. These five wells were used to supply the city with water until the year 1838.
Among the ruins of the forum, you might notice there’s one particular Roman column that still stands intact. This one is called the shame post which during the Middle Ages was used to chain and humiliate people who had committed crimes.
The Church of St. Donatus sits in the middle of the Roman Forum and it dates back to the beginning of the 9th century. The church was built in the Byzantine-style in a circular shape - typical of the early medieval construction in Dalmatia. This church has seen many uses from warehouse to museum, but these days it hosts concerts.
Located right next to St. Donatus, the bell tower is actually part of St Anastasija's Cathedral. Climbing this Romanesque bell tower is not for the faint of heart, especially once you reach the spiralling metal staircase on the last floor, but if you make it, you are rewarded with views of the town and the marina.
The meal came to 32 Euros for two mains, two glasses or red wine, and two desserts. The truffle gnocchi was our favourite truffle dish in Croatia.
When it comes to sunset, there are quite a few spots to choose from. We really enjoyed the pier right across from the Roman Forum, however, the Sea Organ is another popular spot. If you do go to the Sea Organ for sunset, you can also check out the Greeting to the Sun, which is another unusual art installation.
This solar-powered work of art lights up in an array of colours once the sun goes down.

Klečka stijena je uzvišenje koje se nalazi u jugoistočnom dijelu opštine Prozor. Najviša i najisturenija kota na platou Klečke stijene zove se Vihar i njena nadmorska visina iznosi 1154 metra. Sa Vihara se pruža pogled prema Jablaničkom i Ramskom jezeru, te brojnim planinama kao što su Vranica, Vitreuša, Bjelašnica, Visočica, Prenj, Čvrsnica, Vran, Ljubušu, Cincar, Malovan i Raduša.
Klečku stijenu možete pohoditi iz više pravaca ali dva najčešća su iz sela Klek i iz sela Kućani. Mi smo ovom prilikom Vihar penjali iz sela Klek. Početna tačka se nalazi na nekih 770 metara što znači da smo do najviše kote (1154 metra) prešli 384 metra visinske razlike. Staza je dužine oko 3,5 kilometra i potrebno je otprilike 1,5h laganog uspona do vrha.

Klečka stijena is an elevation located in the southeastern part of the municipality of Prozor. The highest and most prominent elevation on the Klečka stijena plateau is called Vihar and its altitude is 1154 meters. From the Vihar there is a view towards the Jablanica and Rama lakes, and numerous mountains such as Vranica, Vitreusa, Bjelasnica, Visocica, Prenj, Cvrsnica, Vran, Ljubusa, Cincar, Malovan and Radusa.
You can visit the Klek rock from several directions, but the two most common are from the village of Klek and from the village of Kucani. On this occasion, we climbed Vihar from the village of Klek. The starting point is located at some 770 meters, which means that we have crossed 384 meters of height difference to reach the highest elevation (1154 meters). The trail is about 3.5 kilometers long and it takes about 1.5 hours of gentle ascent to the top.

Our Historic Fortress in the Bosnia and Herzegovina is an awesome way to share history! On this day we visited an ancient fortress and toured in Bosnia. Take a look at what we saw. Also did you know...
The fortress was built by Hrvoje Vukčić Hrvatinić, the founder of Jajce. However, city became the seat of the Bosnian kings, hence the royal coat of arms decoration on the citadel entrance. A part of the wall was founded by the Hungarian King, while the Ottomans erected the powder magazine. The walls are high and the castle was built on a hill that is egg shaped, the rivers Pliva and Vrbas also protect the castle. That is why there are no ramparts on the south and west sides. It is said that this place was first references to the name of Jajce from written sources in the year 1396, although the fortress had already existed by then. Jajce was the residence of the last Bosnian king Stjepan Tomasevic; the Ottomans besieged the town and executed him, but held it only for six months, before the Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus seized it in a siege that established the Banovina of Jajce.

Small mountain town in Bosnia - Konjic
Konjic is a town between Sarajevo and Mostar on the Neretva river in the Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The early history of Konjic dates back 4 millennia, with remains of various settlements dating back 2000 years ago found along the Neretva river. Its existence was first recorded by the Republic of Ragusa in 1382. The city was later incorporated in the Ottoman Empire, which left it Islamic architecture and its Ottoman bridge. During Austro-Hungarian occupation, Konjic adopted a European architectural style which forms a blend with Ottoman architecture as seen in many cities and towns around Herzegovina.
After the First World War, which started in nearby Sarajevo with the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand, Konjic became part of Yugoslavia. During the Cold War, the city was selected by president Josip Broz Tito for his military command center, therefore known as Tito's Bunker, which is today its best known tourist attraction. The bunker openend in May 2011 for the first edition of the Bijenale, a bi-annual contemporary art exhibition in the bunker.

From our memories and the media, we mostly think of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a country at war, of Sarajevo as a city under siege... Believe us today this country has multiple facets to show and a lot to offer.
We discovered warm and generous people everwhere we've been, gorgeous and mighty mountains from Blidinje to Bjelašnica, without forgetting Prenj, the Bosnian Himalayas... Lukomir, the highest village of the country was a fantastic experience. Hiking this part of the Via Dinarica in winter wasn't easy, it was a real challenge but we made it!
Sarajevo is a fascinating city where so many cultures and influences meet. It is the evidence of the country and region complicated History.
In some way, we fell in love with Bosnia and Herzegovina!
