The most toxic city in America - Picher, Oklahoma - Abandoned ghost town

I've been fascinated with Picher, Oklahoma, for a while and decided to finally check it out. Even though this video has a somber tone, I really enjoyed learning about the history of the town. It is certainly a creepy place to explore and who knows how much longer it will look like this.

The violent crime rate in Prichard is also higher than the national average, with 1,193 violent crimes per 100,000 residents.

Prichard also has a high poverty rate, with 35% of residents living below the poverty line. This is significantly higher than the national poverty rate of 11.4%.

The high crime rate and poverty rate in Prichard are interconnected. Poverty can lead to crime, and crime can deter investment and economic development, which can further perpetuate poverty.

There are a number of factors that contribute to the high crime rate and poverty rate in Prichard, including:

Despite its challenges, Prichard is a resilient community with a rich history. There are a number of community organizations working to improve the city, and there are signs of progress. However, Prichard remains a violent and poor city.

In this eye-opening video experience, we delve into the often-overlooked aspects of Prichard, Alabama, focusing on the run-down parts that are considered hoods and high crime areas. As the dash cam navigates the streets, you'll witness the true face of these neighborhoods, gaining a deeper understanding of the hardships faced by their residents.
