The beautiful culture before the War | Port Sudan

I traveled to Port Sudan, Kassala, and then back to Khartoum to experience some of the ancient beauty traditions and other activities.

In Port Sudan I attempted scuba diving, met the Beja Tribe, and went to a huge fish market.

In Kassala, I made some friends who took me to the dry beach, to meet the Rashaida tribe, and a picnic under the Mango trees. The Rashaida tribe showed me their traditional sword dancing and then invited me for lunch.

Back in Khartoum I saw a Sufi ceremony, went to the camel market, got henna and tried Dukhan.

Sudan - Daily life in Port Sudan

Port Sudan is the main Red Sea port city of Sudan. We start our visit at the busy bus station, we visite the lively market and shops around it. We see how locals relax at the corniche in the afternoon and after dark.

Port Sudan | the souk

Port Sudan (Arabic: بور سودان) is a port city in eastern Sudan, and the capital of the state of Red Sea. As of 2007, it has 489,725 residents. Located on the Red Sea, it is recognized as Sudan's main seaport and the source of 90% of the country's international trade. Port Sudan was built between 1905 and 1909 by the administration of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan to replace Suakin. An oil pipeline was built between the port and Khartoum in 1977.
In 2020, Russian president Vladimir Putin announced that the Russian Navy would begin construction on a base with capacity for 300 personnel and four warships in Port Sudan. The facility would prove Russia with a naval base in the nation for at least 25 years. The plan was ultimately suspended, though Sudanese leadership indicated that it is possible for the construction to go forward in the future.
Following the October–November 2021 Sudanese coup d'état, the Beja tribal council initiated a weeklong blockade of the city's ports. Following negotiations with military officials, the blockade was lifted.

Khartoum - Sudan in 4K UHD | THE CAPITAL OF SUDAN | Best places in Khartoum

Khartoum (Arabic: الخرطوم Al-Khartum) is the capital of Sudan and is located where the Blue Nile and White Nile Rivers merge. The huge, spread-out city is actually made out of three distinct cities (Khartoum, Khartoum North or Bahri, and Omdurman) which are divided by the Nile and its two arms. The Blue Nile flows between Khartoum and Bahri, the White Nile between Khartoum and Omdurman, and the merged Nile between Bahri and Omdurman. The confluence of the Blue and White Nile, known as Al-Mogran, lies just north of the bridge between Khartoum and Omdurman.

Most of them choose the Egyptian Red Sea, but there is another Red Sea even more wild, more virgin, totally outside the usual tourist destinations.A world caught in a time capsule, practically intact, unexplored, retaining the attraction of adventure diving – We are talking about the Sudanese Red Sea.
