Australia's Must Do Road Trip | Eyre Peninsula, South Australia

Check out our full road trip itinerary here:

Whenever we come home to Australia we always try to get out and see a new part of our beautiful backyard, this time we are exploring South Australia with a road trip along the Eyre Peninsula before heading home for Christmas.

After flying into Port Lincoln on the tiniest plane, we checked into our hotel and were already up for an adventure. We jumped in the car and made our way up to Coffin Bay to do one of the most unique oyster tours, literally sea to table as we sat in the bay.

That night we had the tastiest meal at Line and Label, including having one of the new top 20 dishes in the world.

The next morning we got up nice and early to go and swim with sea lions and dolphins and wow - cannot recommend this enough!

On the way back to Port Lincoln, we hit up some beautiful spots including Talia Caves, Coffin Bay National Park and even swam in some natural rock pools alongside the ocean (wow is all we can say!)

Thanks to Tourism South Australia for making this happen - check out all the spots and tours we went on below or see the full itinerary at the top!

Port Lincoln

A day at Port Lincoln. We did the trip on our visit to Coffin Bay during Easter this year. Unfortunately the weather was not the best with quite a lot of cloud. This is the third video in the series.

As usual just having a bit of fun and sharing the sites of South Australia

62. Port Lincoln Tourist Park, Port Lincoln SA

Port Lincoln Tourist Park in Port Lincoln South Australia is our latest stay.
Our site has the most amazing ocean views and is just a short stroll to a small jetty where Matt has caught a lot of squid. Fresh Calamari has been an enjoyable part of our diet here.
The park Wifi is good, amenities very good, excellent camp kitchen and friendly staff. The park is also pet friendly.

Cost for us is $32 per night plus $10 for Matthew less the Top Tourist discount. Having stayed for a week we received 1 night free and our week stay totalled $226.80.
Our stay here was 14-22 December 2016

A South Australian Road Trip Adventure - Port Lincoln | Eyre Peninsula | Adelaide Mountain Biking

With only a couple of weeks up our sleeves, we could only scratch the surface of this stunning state. We didn't even have time to venture inland! However, we sure made the most of the time we had.

From mountain biking some gnarly downhill runs in Adelaide, to swimming with the oceans puppies - the SeaLions, to tasting the famous Barossa wines, to surfing iconic breaks, to marvelling at the abundance of rock pools and impressive cliffs. It's safe to say we ticked off a wide variety of activities.

But the most insane thing we did on the South Australian coastline is swim with the oceans most ferocious predator - the Great White Shark. Neptune Island is one of the only place in the world you can accomplish this bucket list item.

We believe variety is what makes the best videos, so sit back and enjoy our adventures of South Australia. Who knows, maybe it will give you some inspiration to follow our lead and visit this incredible state.
