This station gets the status of a junction because a branch leaves for Line Jhudo from here
That metere gauge branch line is now inactive
Up and down train Marvi Passenger currently passes through Pithuro Junction
Pithuro city is named after Peer Pithuro
Today Pithuru Pir day is being celebrated
It is the biggest festival of Hindu community
People from the Hindu community come from all over the country to participate in this festival

Less exp[ored tourist spot situated in Pithoro of district Umerkot Sindh, Pakistan, There are more than 7 salt water lakes which spread over India and Pakistan's desert area. Three decades ago there was fish when fresh water of Nara canal entering in the lakes. Sindh govt have constructed huts but with out facilities. Its very beautiful tourist spot of the desert.

The Rama Pir Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Ramdev Pir in Kasbo. The temple was built in 1859. Near Nagarparkar in the Thar Desert of Pakistan is a small town near the Indian border. It is a place where peacocks, deserts and music give you inner peace, and this mandir is 40-minute drive from Nagarparkar. The annual Ramapir Mela festival is the second largest Hindu pilgrimage in Pakistan.

Ruins of Abandoned Railway Station of #British Rule (~ 100 years old)
This is abandoned #Railway Station of Tando Jan Muhammad, District Mirpurkhas, #Sindh.
In 1909, 80km long track of the Mirpur Khas - Jhudo section was constructed by then British Rule. In 1935 it was extended to Pithoro Junction (104km). This Railway Station was constructed in 1935. In 2005, this loop line along with many stations were abandoned and dismantled and all railways stations were totally damaged by local people due to lack of interest of Pakistan Railway. In this video, you can watch the ruins of Tando Jan Muhammad Railway Station.

Train & Sand Dunes | Incredible Thar Desert Journey from Khokhropar to Mirpurkhas on Marvi Express
Hello Everyone, Finally I am here with the much awaited desert train ride video. Marvi Express was recently restarted. It is a daily train that runs between Mirpurkhas and Khokhropar. The most amazing thing about this train journey is the desert. Yes most of this train ride is between the great Thar Desert. You will be able to see the sand dunes and also barren desert landscape throughout the journey. In this train journey, we also got the chance to travel in cab of HGMU-30R-8213 which was amazing experience and specially watching desert from the train engine was breathtaking.
