Pilaitėje stovi 16 metrų aukščio kepurinio tipo vėjinis malūnas – jo viršutinę dalį galima sukti ir reguliuojant pasukti į palankiausią vėjo kryptį. Malūno pamatas juostinis, betono su akmenimis mūro. Sienos ir kepurė – medžio karkaso. Pirmojo aukšto sienos apkaltos vertikaliomis vožtininėmis lentų eilėmis. Kitų aukštų – dvigubo pjovimo, užleistų viena ant kitos lentų horizontaliomis eilėmis, ant jų – skiedromis. Kepurės stogas ant grebėstų apkaltas skiedromis, o šonai, priekis ir galas – vertikalių lentų eilėmis. Malūnas keturių aukštų, iš viso 16 m. Liemuo pirmajame aukšte – vertikalių sienų, kituose – siaurėjančios piramidės formos, aštuonkampis. Pirmasis aukštas – 10,5 m, viršuje – 4,4 m skersmens.
Pastačius malūną, pirmojo aukšto Šiaurės Vakarų ir Vakarų fasaduose buvo plati anga į priestatus, Pietryčių fasade – durys. Visose pirmojo aukšto sienose, išskyrus vakarinę, buvo po langą, o šiaurinėje – du. Šiaurės Rytų fasado šiauriniame kampe buvo išvestas apšildymo pečiaus kaminas. Antrojo aukšto Šiaurės Vakarų ir Pietryčių fasaduose buvo durys į apeigos tiltelį, maždaug dviejų metrų pločio, su turėklais, pritvirtintą įstrižais spyriais. Šiaurės, Pietų ir, ko gero, Šiaurės Vakarų fasaduose buvo švieslangiai. Trečiajame aukšte švieslangiai buvo Šiaurės Vakarų ir Pietryčių, o ketvirtajame – Vakarų ir Pietryčių fasaduose. Jų vieta ir kiekis, pertvarkant malūną iš vėjinio į elektrinį Liepalotuose bei perstatant Pilaitėje, buvo keičiamas.
Malūną 1923 metais Šakių rajono Liepalotų kaime, už JAV uždirbtus pinigus pasistatydino Petras Žasetis. 1961 metais malūno variklis buvo pakeistas į elektrinį. Atkūrus Nepriklausomybę, malūnas Liepalotuose paliktas likimo valiai, tačiau keliaudamas po Lietuvą archeologas Zenonas Baubonis nusprendė jį išgelbėti nuo visiško sunykimo ir 2003 metais išardęs pervežė į Vilnių. Malūnas dabar naudojamas renginiams, ekspozicijoms, pobūviams ir kaip duonos kepimo edukacijų erdvė.

Huge Vilnius KEBAB TOUR! Can you get a good kebab in Lithuania? ????????
When you've had a few drinks in some of Vilnius' fantastic bars, it's time for a good kebab! But can you get good quality, authentic Turkish Kebabs in Lithuania?
We went on a HUGE Vilnius Kebab Tour to find out! First we tried Jammi Kebab as our benchmark - they're the most commonly known kebab chain in Vilnius. Next we went up to the northern part of the city to visit Mangal Men, a more authentic Turkish-style kebab. After that we ventured across to Eastern Vilnius to try out Mekan Doner in Pilaitė for a serious Doner Kebab! An absolutely insane kebab crawl back-to-back as part of our Eastern European Food Tour!
If you're wondering where to eat in Vilnius Lithuania, especially for some late night drunk food, this video is for you!

Расположен на крайнем юго-востоке Литвы на реке Вилии, в 33 километрах от границы с Беларусью. Главный политический, экономический и культурный центр Литвы. Впервые упоминается в 1323 году. Историческая часть города Вильнюс, насыщенная огромным количеством уникальных достопримечательностей, состоит в списке всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. И действительно, в городе Вильнюс сохранилось множество достопримечательностей, большинство из которых сконцентрированы в историческом центре города. К основным достопримечательностям города Вильнюс можно отнести: руины средневекового замка, расположенного на высоком холме; единичные фрагменты более поздней крепостной стены; ратушу, расположенную на одной из центральных площадей старого города; множество католических и православных храмов и монастырей, в том числе очень древних, крупных или уникальных с точки зрения архитектуры (в храмах города Вильнюс хранится несколько икон и других святынь широко почитаемых не только в самой Литве, но и далеко за её границами); комплекс зданий старинного университета; несколько выдающихся дворцов; а также весьма примечательную рядовую застройку исторического центра.
