Riche Fond / Saint Julien Mauritius Vlog

We adventure around Riche Fond and Saint Julien in the Flacq district. Starting with a fantastic fruit cup, probably the best I have had. We then walked through the spiritual park. One end has a wall where the old railway went and the other has a great round bridge. We explored a gold Hindu temple and then drove to a blue lake, where I met a wasp nest collector. He told me a bit about the history of the region, and Mauritius.

We stopped at St. Julien church, which has a relic from pope Jean-Paul and we even found a national monument in the graveyard. In the hunt for food we came across a great snack shop, but that is for another video.

39:02 Les mines d’or

The hill on which Volterra stands was already inhabited during the early Iron Age.
Veláthri (the Etruscan name of Volterra), was part of the Etruscan confederation, called Etruscan dodecapoli or lucumonie, starting from the second half of the 6th century BC.

In Latin the city took the name of Volaterrae, from which derive the Greek Οὐολατέρραι Ouolatérrai and the current Italian name.

Partial independence was maintained even when Velathri was forced, the last of ....................................................................................................................................................

Visiting Vatican City The Smallest Country In The World

Welcome, and in today’s Rome travel vlog, I will visit Vatican City the smallest country in the world.

▶️ Please Subscribe:

The Vatican, the world's smallest sovereign state, is across the river from Rome's historic center. Even though the Vatican is about half a square kilometer, it looks like a religious powerhouse. Its holy buildings are huge, and its halls are filled with some of the world's most famous works of art.

We'll start with St. Peter's Square today. This keyhole-shaped piazza is the most important place in the Vatican. It is surrounded by two massive colonnades designed by the baroque master Gian Lorenzo Bernini to look like the motherly arms of the church. As you wait in line for the security checks at St. Peter's Basilica, you might have some time to look at the rows of Doric columns.

Even though Rome has many beautiful churches, none compare to St. Peter's, Italy's largest, richest, and most spectacular basilica. The first time you go into St. Peter's Basilica is an experience you'll never forget. The 187-meter-long interior is enormous and luxurious. Everywhere you look, you see a precious masterpiece.

Its luxurious interior has many unique works of art, including three of Italy's most famous: Michelangelo's Pietà, his soaring dome, and Bernini's 95-foot-high (29-meter-high) baldachin over the papal altar.

Then I climbed St. Peter's Dome to see breathtaking views of Vatican City. The dome of St. Peter's is Michelangelo's best architectural work. To get there, you must go through a side door to the right of the basilica's main entrance, ride a creaky elevator, and climb 320 steps up a narrow, winding staircase. When you come out, you'll see breathtaking views of Rome's rooftops bathed in rose-gold light.

So, watch till the end and let me know your thoughts in the comments.
