Colmar Christmas Market is a traditional Alsatian Christmas market in Colmar, Haut-Rhin, Alsace. It takes place every year and begins on the first weekend of Advent and ends on December 30 or 31. Its significant success is largely due to its picturesque, typical and preserved medieval Alsatian setting, a hotspot for international Alsatian tourism.

History :
Colmar perpetuates the Alsatian tradition of the Christkindelsmärik founded in 1570 in Strasbourg1 (Germanic Christian Christmas market of Saint-Nicolas, traditional of Alsatian and German cultures, or market of the Child Jesus in Alsatian).

Christmas traditions, celebrated in Alsace from Advent to Epiphany, take on a special dimension in Colmar...

The magic of Christmas in Colmar is first and foremost the atmosphere of the Old Town, illuminated and decorated like a fairy tale: a historic setting made magical by the Christmas lights which, during this festive period, blend harmoniously with the exceptional lighting designed to enhance the heritage, and which adorns the center of Colmar with a soft aura of light.

The city center, essentially pedestrian, conceals innumerable architectural treasures among which monuments, churches, museums and even the alleys, built, for the most imposing, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Above all, be sure to marvel at the Pfister house, the Koïfhus, the Unterlinden museum, Little Venice, the Maison des Têtes or the Saint-Martin Collegiate Church.

The whole city is decorated as if in a dream, to make the old center a magical place sheltering the warm atmosphere of Christmas in the heart of the city.

Every year, Colmarians play a leading role by taking part in a joyful decoration competition which sees them compete in imagination to adorn the facades of houses and shop windows.

I wish you all the best to you and your families, a Merry Christmas with your loved ones, a better new year than the one that passed and may everything you wish come true, be blessed, Merry Christmas!!! TOURIST CHANNEL.

【4K 60fps Pari】Église Saint-Pierre de Montmartre

Saint-Pierre de Montmartre (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ pjɛʁ də mɔ̃.maʁtʁ]) is one of the oldest surviving churches in Paris, second to the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-Pres, but the lesser known of the two main churches in Montmartre, the other being the more famous 19th-century Sacré-Cœur Basilica, just above it. Saint-Pierre de Montmartre, begun in 1133, was the church of the prestigious Montmartre Abbey, destroyed in the French Revolution.

According to the earliest biography of Saint Ignatius Loyola, the martyrium of Montmartre Abbey was the location at which the vows were taken that led to the founding of the Society of Jesus

Wikipedia:

The EasyMile EZ10 is a battery-powered autonomous electric bus designed and marketed by EasyMile. It seats up to six people and four more passengers may ride standing, or it can accommodate a wheelchair, with the aim of helping to bridge the first mile/last mile of a trip. EZ10 has been deployed in more than 30 cities and 16 countries.

Founded in June 2014, EasyMile SAS develops and markets autonomous vehicles. It was formally a joint venture formed by Ligier, and Robosoft Technology PTE Ltd (France).[2][3][4] EZ10 was first developed with the help of Clermont Auvergne University (Institut Pascal Lab and LAPSCO Lab) in the VIPAFLEET FUI project from 2012 to 2015. Then, it was developed with the help of CityMobil2 project co-funded by the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for research and technological development (FP7).[3][4] In January 2017 it was announced that Alstom had invested €14 million in Easymile and the two companies had signed a commercial partnership agreement.[5] In July 2017, Continental also announced an investment in EasyMile.[6]

In July 2019, an EasyMile passenger in Utah required medical attention after falling from a seat due to a sudden stop, prompting the company to put up warning signs and reduce the vehicles' maximum speed.[7] In February 2020, a Smart Columbus (a service in Columbus, Ohio) passenger[8] fell from a seat when an EasyMile vehicle executed an emergency stop from 7 miles per hour (11 km/h).[7] The second incident prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to suspend EasyMile passenger services nationwide (being used in 10 states) while the incident was investigated.[7]

Toulouse

This movie is a compilation of personal photos of old Toulouse.

Toulouse is a very attractive city with an old centre made of brick. The bricks of Toulouse seem to change colour as the day (and the sun) passes. Hence the city is referred to as the 'pink city'. These bricks are also often combined with white stone to create a decorative effect.
Toulouse has many stuning monuments made of brick. Among them, the central square 'Place du Capitole' is the heart of the city, with the grand and beautiful building of the local government dating from 1750.
Grand houses line the streets, whith some architectural gems as 'hôtel d'Assezat', 'hôtel de Bernuy' or 'hôtel du vieux raisin' built in the 16th century, when the culture of the pastel, a blue dye which was very appreciated in Europe, made the fortune of Toulouse.
Impressive basilica St-Sernin (the biggest remaining romanesque church in Europe, 11-12 th c.) and lovely Jacobins convent (the place where the dominican order was created and where St Thomas Aquinas is buried) are the two most beautiful and famous churches of the city, but other numerous churches full of charm and history, sometimes transformed into museums, make the beauty of Toulouse.
There is a great deal of interest to explore and discover the cobbled streets of Toulouse, and to capture the essence of this old city.
