TOP 5 EASY PEAKS in the DOLOMITES - Hiking Tips

Download the GPX tracks of the hikes!

If you want to support the channel and my adventures :-)

Dolomites are one of my favourite mountain areas, and the best way to discover them is HIKING!
In this video I'm showing you 5 easy tops in the Dolomites.

NOTE: you still need to have a bit of experience with hiking to achieve these peaks
Also, some of these hikes have some easy parts of via ferrata. I personally didn't use climbing kit in these cases, but consider doing it if you feel like you want to be safer.

Col De La Puina:
After passing the beautiful Passo Staulanza, you'll keep driving down for a couple kilometers to reach a wide parking spot on your right. You will follow a wide gravel road in the forest, that will quickly take you to Rifugio Città di Fiume. From here, you'll keep going up, and you'll turn right to follow a grassy ridgeline. The last part is quite steep, but you will quickly make it to the first top, and after that, to the highest one.

Gran Cir:
The hike start from one of the Most Popular mountain passes in the Dolomites, Passo Gardena. From here, you will follow the trail number 2 that rises crossing many ski slopes.
You are getting closer to the rocks, and you will hike all the way up a rocky culoir.
From here, a very easy iron rope will guide you on a wide ledge. This part requires a bit of attention but it's technically very easy. You will soon reach the upper part of the peak, and a trail with some other easy parts of via ferrata will lead you to the top!

Croda Negra:
From the Parking lot of Passo Falzarego, you'll start following the trail number 441 that takes to Rifugio Nuvolau. After 15minutes, you will turn right following the trail number 442.
At one point, you will find a 2m high rocky passage. it's technically super easy and not exposed.
After that, you will find yourself on the higher part of this big rocky hill, and you'll just follow the ridge. In 1 and half hour you will be on top, and you'll be able to admire the huge group of tofane in front of you, cinque torri in the valley, and so many other layers of mountains.

Monte Cernera:
The hike starts from the famous Passo Giau.
You'll start hiking the trail n436, which will give you wonderful views of your final destination.
At one point, the path splits. On the left, Forcella Giau. On the Right, MONTE CERNERA.
you will follow a beautiful traverse with an amazing view towards Passo Giau and Tofane.
Now the most technical part of the strail starts. You will follow a very easy iron rope that will take you to an upper plateau. After a second short technical part, you will arrive very close to the summit!

Monte Coldai:
The hike starts from Palafavera, Val di Zoldo, just like the huge round trip that I showed you in the previous video. You'll start following a wide gravel road. In 30minutes you will be at Malga Pioda, and the path will get more narrow and steep. You will reach Rifugio coldai and you'll quickly make it to sella coldai, right over a wonderful little lake. Your goal is the top right over the lake, opposite to civetta. So you'll turn right and will follow the trail that will quickly take you to the top!

Bologna, Italy Walking Tour (4k Ultra HD 60fps) – With Caption

Please also check our new channel: @AdventureHunterTV
We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Bologna, Italy on October 2021.
Bologna is the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy and, with about 400,000 inhabitants, is the seventh most populous city in the country. It is also one of the wealthiest cities in Italy, often ranking as one of the top cities in terms of quality of life in the country. Famous for its towers and lengthy porticoes, Bologna has a well-preserved historical centre, thanks to a restoration policy which began at the end of the 1970s. In 2000 it was declared European capital of culture and in 2021 UNESCO recognized the lengthy porticoes of the city as a World Heritage Site.
Our guided walking tour is about 3.1 miles (5 km) long, starts at Santo Stefano Square and covers most attractions and historic sites of Bologna.

DRIVING ALONG THE COUNTRYSIDE OF ITALY

#shydinkochannel #bolognaitaly #driving #spring #emiliaromagna

A town in the Apennines south-east of Bologna, Pianoro is located along the Futa road, a communication route in the past that was fundamental for the connection between the city of the Two Towers and Florence.

The territory is inserted in a prestigious environmental context, enhanced by the presence of the Parco dei Gessi Bolognesi and Calanchi dell'Abbadessa known for its spectacular gypsum outcrops with countless karst phenomena, including caves and the characteristic gullies.

The presence of numerous ancient religious buildings such as the church of San Giacomo Maggiore in Pianoro Vecchio, towers and hamlets makes a visit pleasant which, in addition to the capital, can easily extend to the surrounding hamlets and to fascinating natural places such as Monte delle Formiche.

NOT TO BE MISSED

The ancient village of Livergnano whose name recalls the rustic land that the Romans planted there with the colonization of the Savena valley. What makes it special and a destination for visits is the rather rare peculiarity of being made up of a series of houses deeply embedded in the rock and of which, in practice, only the facade protrudes.

Two kilometers away is Ca' di Bortignano, a rural building with a tower of thirteenth-century origin.

The Museum of Botroids is located in Tazzola, an ancient village dating back to 1100. Inside it preserves an important exhibition of the characteristic anthropomorphic sandstone stones, collected by the pioneer of speleology Luigi Fantini in the early 1900s along the Zena river. The visit is a real journey through 80 million years, passing from the Cretaceous to the present day, coming into contact with fossils, yellow sands and mysterious stones.

AROUND

About 15 kilometers from Pianoro stands isolated Monte delle Formiche, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view and which owes its name to a curious natural phenomenon. Around 8 September, the day of the feast of the Madonna, swarms of flying ants reach the summit right into the sanctuary of S. Maria di Zena and die there.

At the foot of the mountain is the Castle of Zena, built near the stream of the same name. Even the castle, like the sanctuary, is of medieval origins, but the architecture has composite elements from the 14th and 17th centuries.

Rome I Italy I Where to Stay? Cheap Accommodation

How to book cheap accommodation in Italy?

#Italy #Rome #Accomodation

Have you ever thought about cricket in Italy? We were surprised when we found people practising cricket in Rome's Trastevere area. After some research, I got to know that Italy has a history of cricket which dates back to more than two hundred years. From 1984 it has also been a member of the International Cricket Council. However, they are still to make it big in international cricket because football has been the focus for them. But things are changing, Recently, in 2018, they have been given the T20 international status. Most of the players are of Asian origin which is understandable.

We stayed in an apartment in Trastevere area of Rome. We booked it through It was a very comfortable and homely stay.

We also met our friends Neha and Manish in Rome. We also invited to our apartment.

This video also shows us leaving Rome for Delhi. We had to say goodbye to Colette, our family friend from France. It was an emotional moment for us.

Our Brief Profile:
Kaushal Lakhotia and Abhilasha Chaudhary are food, travel, fashion and culture enthusiasts. They plan to share their experiences through this channel. It will be completely in Hindi.

Kaushal is a journalist by profession and Abhilasha is a French language teacher.
