Amalfi Coast Positano // path of the gods
An Impression on Positano, Almafi Coast Italy, boat ride, trail running path of the gods, and Naples by night.
We spend 10 days roaming through Europe, visiting Germany, Hungary and Italy.
The prettiest side under a number of special places was for sure Positano at the Amalfi coast. We could stay at the perfect airbnb overlooking Positano and the famous Almafi coast. Run by a nice host and great staff, thanks Marco & Victor
We got spoiled with great views, good wine and awesome food… what else do you want? Boat trips? We got it… A little workout, may be trail running? We got it all…
The Airbnb is located directly at the trailhead of the path of the Gods which connects Positano with the neighbouring town of Pianillo and san Michele.
On our last day, we went to Naples to have a pizza in the famous pizzeria Da Michele out of the movie eat pray love. Until today this is still the best pizza I ever had!

Furore is known as the town that does not exist, because of how difficult it is to find it! I assure you that even looking for it, you can pass through the SS163 road without noticing it!

⛱️ Bring comfortable shoes and clothes, water and some food, you will have to do a lot of stairs to get to the beach! (as you can see in the video.!).
The municipality of Furore expands from sea level, where there is the hamlet of Fiordo di Furore, and a little civil parish partly belonging to Praiano named Marina di Praia, up to Agerola (550 meters above sea level). The village is subdivided into 3 districts (contrade): Cicala (Sant'Elia), Ciuccio (Santo Jaco) and Gatta (Sant'Agnelo). (wikipedia)

Italy Path of the gods on the Amalfi coast(Italy's Best Hike?)
In today's video we headed out to the beautiful Amalfi coast in Italy to do one of the world's best hikes called The Path of the Gods. I have never been in this part of Italy before and it really did not disappoint with some stunning views of the coast line.
I didn't get the chance to go into Positano or Amalfi but at least I got to go on this beautiful hike overlooking the popular village of Positano. We started off the hike in the village of Nocelle and finished near Bomerano. After doing the Path of the Gods hike I can truly say that it has checked off something major on my bucket list!

Pirate Remains on the Amalfi Coast?
While traveling by foot, from Salerno to Positano on Italy's mythical Amalfi coast, I learned in a more intimate way, the history of the Sarecen pirates from northern Africa including their long storied history of attacking the small towns and viallages of this particular region.
Il Fornillo beach, near the town center of Positano is one of many examples where you can experience up close the remains of forts that were once used by the locals to defend their villages from these pirate raids!
