My expedition to the North of Russia continues. This time I've decided to visit my family in the Urals. Winters in the Urals have a pretty harsh climate. The temperature range in the Urals can reach 90 degrees: -45°C in winter and +45°C in summer. So, let's see what the capital of the Perm region has to offer in winter!

Perm Krai is really under rated on the tourist map for interesting things to do in Russia. Not only does it offer amazing artistic attractions, but its nature is absolutely stunning. With the Ural Mountains hugging the area and deep green forests like a fairytale to explore, make sure you don't miss out on this beautiful area of the country. Perm is right on the Trans Siberian Express route so it makes an easy stop on your way to Vladivostok (or Moscow in my case). Hope you guys enjoy the video! xx

Perm Rusia (Пермь). La ciudad de los gulags y la cultura moderna. La ciudad ubicada en la frontera entre Europa y Asia fue una ciudad cerrada durante la era soviética.
Perm, se encuentra a orillas del río Kama en la parte europea de Rusia, cerca de los montes Urales. Entre 1940 y 1957 fue conocido como Molotov.
Perm, es el centro industrial, científico, cultural de los Urales. La distancia a Moscú es de más de 1400 km. Es un nudo importante del ferrocarril transiberiano.
Según el censo, la población de Perm es 1 100 653 registrada en el censo. La ciudad es la decimotercera más poblada de Rusia.
Cuando se fundó Perm, ya estaba destinada a ser una ciudad importante, ya que estaba en las líneas de comunicación de Moscú y Siberia, debido a su importancia para los transiberianos.
El área de Geografía de la ciudad está ubicada en la orilla del río Kama en un terreno montañoso. El Kama es el principal afluente del Volga y uno de los ríos más profundos de Rusia. Al oeste de Perm hay una extensa área de bosque de madera, bien explotada.
