Episodio de 'ANDO EN MICRO' (URBAN BUS RIDE) con el servicio rural de 'Bupesa', también conocido como 'Micro Peñaflor' o bus de 'Peñaflor'. Es un servicio de transporte rural que une a 'Santiago' con 'Peñaflor' pasando por sectores de 'Estación Central', 'Cerrillos', 'Maipú', 'Padre Hurtado' y 'Malloco'.
El bus inicia el servicio en el 'Terminal San Borja' y usa principalmente la avenida 'Camino a Melipilla' para conectar con 'Peñaflor' tras un viaje de unos 30 km. El trayecto demora cerca de 1 hora (estos buses vuelan en las calles) y tiene un valor de $1.000 pesos chilenos (1.3 USD aproximadamente).
En 'Peñaflor' pude mostrar un poco de la plaza de la ciudad, el sector de 'Espacio Peñaflor' donde realizan actividades culturales (Casa de la Cultura) y donde tienen muestras patrimoniales. Algo destacado es la historia de 'Peñaflor' ligada a la fábrica de zapatos 'Bata', filial de la empresa matriz checa. Hoy en día solamente se importan zapatos, pero ya no se fabrican aquí.
En el viaje de ida y vuelta, viajé en unidades 'Inrecar Géminis 2' manufacturadas en Chile, con chasis 'Mercedes Benz', placa FFVL84 y DPZY96. El episodio es presentado por los libros 'Corte de Cinta', 'Los Héroes del Tiempo', 'Bendita Elegancia', 'Iris el sonido de las caracolas'. También se menciona el contexto de escritura de 'Los Héroes del Tiempo' y mi reunión con el escritor 'Hernán Bustos Valdivia'.

Episodio de la serie ANDO EN BUS con uno de los servicios de la empresa Flixbus en Chile. Es mi primera vez viajando en esta empresa que debutó en octubre 2023, con 3 rutas: Santiago - Viña del Mar, Santiago - San Antonio y Santiago - Coquimbo. El bus que hace Santiago - Viña del Mar sale desde el Terminal San Borja en Estación Central, y después pasa al Terminal Pajaritos, para ir directo hacia Viña del Mar.
El bus es una unidad Marcopolo Paradiso 1800 DD G7, fabricada en Brasil. Tiene chasis Volvo B450R, el interior cuenta con 60 asientos Semi Cama, con cinturón de seguridad, algunas tienen puertos USB. La unidad tenía placa KDVX34 y el bus fue inscrito en julio 2018. El bus es de la empresa Andimar, unidad 370, que está prestando servicios para Flixbus Chile.

ABOUT MAIPO VALLEY
Maipo Valley is the closest Chilean wine region to Santiago, the capital city of Chile. It extends eastwards from the city to the Andes and westward to the coast, stretching south toward the towns and subzones of Padre Hurtado, Peñaflor, Talagante, Isla de Maipo and Melipilla.
The valley includes over 7,302 acres of vineyards, more than half of which are dedicated to producing Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet blends. It is a historic wine-producing region and the birthplace of the Chilean wine industry, with vines growing there for the past 150 years.

Episodio de 'ANDO EN MICRO' (Urban Bus Ride, en inglés) con el viaje en el bus '546e Transantiago', un servicio Super Expreso del transporte público de Santiago que también es una de las rutas más largas, cerca de 40 km. Este bus funciona en horario punta para trasladar a trabajadores desde los principales polos de trabajo hacia comunas residenciales.
El bus 546e toma pasajeros en avenida 'Padre Hurtado', 'Vitacura', el sector de 'Parque Arauco', 'Los Conquistadores' y después hace su viaje en la autopista hasta llegar a 'Carrascal', 'Metro Ecuador', tomar avenida 'Pajaritos' y entrar en el corazón de la comuna de 'Maipú', llegando hasta Villa 'El Abrazo'.
Hice este viaje con 'Claudio Garrido', amigo escritor y quien tiene el canal Aguja TV. En el viaje podemos ver el sector oriente, tenemos una vista muy hermosa de 'Sanhattan' (sector financiero de Santiago), además de que ocurren anécdotas como el corte de unos cables. Fue un viaje largo y entretenido que duró poco menos de 2 horas.

VIAJE EN EL TREN NOCTURNO SANTIAGO - CONCEPCIÓN | TEMPORADA 2023
Registros realizados a bordo del tren nocturno que une las ciudades de Santiago y Concepción en su salida del día 24 de febrero del presente año. Mostrando tanto las acomodaciones del tren como los diversos hitos que son visibles en nuestro camino hasta llegar a la capital del Bio Bío.
Todos los trenes que han salido desde la suspensión del servicio regular en 2007, se han considerado de carácter turístico debido a que no tienen una frecuencia continua y solo salen en fechas de alta demanda como lo es fines de semana largo y temporada estival.
Durante el verano de 2023, el tren salió todos los viernes desde Santiago y retornaba todos los domingos desde Concepción, hasta el pasado 12 de marzo que se efectuó el último viaje de retorno de la temporada. Sin embargo, ya se anunciaron nuevas salidas para el fin de semana largo producido por la celebración de semana santa. En la página puedes adquirir los pasajes.
En cuanto al viaje, se realiza en aproximadamente 8 horas y posee 3 clases de asientos (Clase Preferente, Clase Súper Salón y Clase Salón Turista) que varían en su precio dependiendo de la clase que el pasajero elija y la fecha en la cual viaje.
Sin dudas que fue un viaje memorable, tanto por la atención del personal como por el simbolismo que significa el retorno cada vez más recurrente de un tren de estas características.

Episodio de 'ANDO EN BUS' (RIDING BUSES) con el servicio de la empresa 'Buses Altas Cumbres'. Viaje conmemorativo realizado junto a 'Joaquín Riquelme', diseñador de la portada del libro 'Los Héroes del Tiempo'. Celebramos el término de los trabajos con un hermoso viaje a la región del Maule.
El bus es una unidad nueva, 'Marcopolo Paradiso 1800 DD New G7' con chasis 'Volvo B450R', placa LLFX24 e inscrito en Octubre 2019. El bus tiene cómodos asientos 'Salón Cama' con puertos USB, cortinas de privacidad y pantalla de entretenimiento individual para un viaje de 3 horas. El servicio incluye la atención de una azafata (o terramoza), asistente, brindan bebidas y cosas pequeñas para comer. Al final del viaje, en el Terminal de 'Talca' ('Lorenzo Varoli'), grabamos la boletería con forma de bus que tiene esta empresa y almorzamos en las cercanías de la estación de tren para continuar nuestra aventura.

Episodio de 'ANDO EN AVIÓN' (Riding Planes, en inglés) con el vuelo Santiago Sao Paulo en la empresa 'SKY Airline', vuelo SKY600 (H2600).
'SKY Airline' renovó completamente su flota en el último tiempo, con aviones año 2020 y 2021 de modelos 'Airbus A320 neo' y 'Airbus A321 neo'. Iniciamos el vuelo en la madrugada en Santiago, en un día de lluvia, pudimos ver el amanecer en las montañas de la cordillera de los Andes, y disfrutamos de un vuelo con maravillosas vistas hasta llegar a Brasil, especialmente en la ciudad de Sao Paulo donde aterrizamos en el Aeropuerto Internacional Guarulhos (GRU). En el viaje, estuve acompañado de varios amigos aficionados del transporte, pues todos juntos íbamos a un evento de buses en Sao Paulo, Bus Brasil Fest 2023 en Barueri.
El avión 'Airbus A321 neo' es una nueva versión de avión largo de un solo pasillo con asientos económicos (238 butacas en este caso), presente en varias aerolíneas del mundo. El avión de nuestro vuelo tenía matrícula CC-DCC y debutó en Agosto 2021.

Santiago, also known as Santiago de Chile, is the capital and main city of Chile and the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, of which it is also the geographical center and whose population is concentrated mostly in the city. Located on the banks of the Mapocho River, Santiago was founded by the Spaniard Pedro de Valdivia, under the name of Santiago de Nueva Extremadura in honor of the Apostle Santiago, thus becoming the capital of the Government of Nueva Extremadura,7in the sixteenth century. It is currently the economic and administrative center of the country, as well as being the largest urban agglomeration in the country.
Although generally conceived as a single city, Santiago does not constitute a single administrative unit, but is part of the territory of at least 43 communes, of which 28 are completely within the urban radius and 15 municipalities outside it, but all very connected through modern highways and avenues. Most of the metropolis is located within the province of Santiago, and parts of it are located in communes belonging to other provinces of the Metropolitan Region, these are San Bernardo, Calera de Tango, Buin, Puente Alto, Talagante, Peñaflor, Padre Hurtado, El Monte and Isla de Maipo.
Santiago is located approximately at the coordinates 33°26′16S 70°39′01W (at a similar latitude to Cape Town and Sydney) and at an average altitude of 567 m a.s.l.9With an area of 837.89 km²,2Santiago had a population of 2017,6,254 inhabitants in 314, equivalent to 35.6% of the country's total population. Santiago is the seventh most populous metropolitan area in Latin America, also the seventh most populated city in Latin America and the southern hemisphere10and, by some estimates, one of the 50 most populous urban agglomerations in the world.11With its more than 6 million inhabitants, it is the most populous urban center in Chile, well ahead of Gran Concepción, Greater Valparaíso, the La Serena-Coquimbo conurbation, the metropolitan area of Temuco and Antofagasta, which are the next most populous.
Santiago is usually positioned as a leading city in Latin America in a number of social, economic and environmental factors. The Chilean capital is the second most competitive city in Latin America, only surpassed by São Paulo,12n 3as well as the third with the best quality of life (the second in South America and the 90th in the world)13and the safest in Latin America. In addition, it is considered as a global city of Alpha-class,14and the 53rd highest-earning city in the world, with a GDP (PPP) of USD 91 billion in 000 and an estimated USD 2005 billion by 160.15
Likewise, in 2012 it was rated as the third most competitive Latin American city – also the third South American and the 68th worldwide.1617and in 2013 it was ranked as the smartest city in the region.18Finally, according to a global study released by the Economist Intelligence Unit, Santiago would be the second best Latin American city to live, after Buenos Aires.
San Cristóbal Hill (Spanish: Cerro San Cristóbal, Mapuche: Tupahue) is a hill in northern Santiago, Chile. It rises 850 m AMSL and about 300 m above the rest of Santiago; the peak is the third highest point in the city, after Cerro Manquehue and Cerro Renca. Cerro San Cristóbal was named by the Spanish conquistadors for St Christopher, in recognition of its use as a landmark. Its original indigenous name is Tupahue.
History and attractions
Cerro San Cristóbal began to be used in 1903 with the installation of the Mills Observatory, currently known as the Manuel Foster Observatory, twin of the Lick Observatory of the University of California.
On its summit there is a sanctuary dedicated to the Immaculate Conception, with a 22-meter statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, an amphitheater and a chapel. The statue of the Immaculate Conception measures 14 meters tall, and the pedestal on which it rests is 8.3 meters in height. It weighs 36,610 kilograms.[2] Within the pedestal there is a small chapel in which Pope John Paul II prayed and blessed the city of Santiago on April 1, 1987. The statue is lit up at night by lights placed on its sides, allowing it to be viewed from all over Santiago both day and night.
At the foot of the statue there is an amphitheater for holding masses or other religious ceremonies. Near the statue, there is also a small chapel for praying.
Cerro San Cristóbal houses Santiago's largest public park: the Santiago Metropolitan Park (Parque Metropolitano).
