Jaddih Hill is a place of traditional white brick mining, it located in Jaddih Village, Bangkalan District Madura-East Java, approximately 10 kilometers to the west of Bangkalan district city center. This place is a new tourist destination but attracts many local Indonesian tourists. It landscapes is similar to Breksi Cliffs in Jogjakarta city, here you will see a formation of white limestone carvings of gigantic size, limestone cliffs in Jaddih village is not naturally formed, but it is the masterpiece of traditional white brick miners, For years, the miners take the white brick by cutting parts of the hill using a saw to form an exotic and artistic formation.
Actually, this mining area is a hill, and we can still explore it, if we climb to the top of the hill, we can enjoy the scenery to the green and vast area. This area is surrounded by an unspoiled landscape composed of green hills, is a perfect place for photography objects.
Inside the white brick mining area on this hill, we can see the pond in the middle, the water of this pond appears naturally, local people call it “Water of White Cave”, this is the main attraction of Bukit Jaddih.

I went to a paradise island with a terrifying secret or as they would say in Indonesia: RAHASIA KEJAM DARI PULAU SURGA.
Madura is an Indonesian island off the northeastern coast of Java. The island comprises an area of approximately 4,078.67 km² (administratively 5,168 km² including various smaller islands to the east and north). Madura is administered as part of the East Java province. It is separated from Java by the narrow Strait of Madura.
The Madurese (sometimes Madurace or Madhure; also known as Orang Madura and Suku Madura in Indonesian) are an ethnic group originally from the island of Madura now found in many parts of Indonesia, where they are the third-largest ethnic group by population.
The terrifying secret:
In rural areas, the Madurese still practice an ancient tradition of vendetta, called charok (carok) which literally means battle of honor. In the 1990s, law enforcement agencies in each of the four districts in Madura have recorded dozens of cases each year. It is noteworthy that the killing may provoke resentment, quite small by the standards of ordinary European or Indonesian. According to local criminal statistics, most of the reason for such attacks are usually molestation of women or property dispute, but it often happens that the Madurese's cruel revenge is motivated by an insufficiently polite treatment or insult in public places to one's honor.
Instrument of revenge used in this dueling is often the traditional Madurese crescent knife, celurit which is the most common peasant weapon and in some areas and also the attribute of traditional male attire. In such cases, the avenger usually prepares the celurit in advance in an event of dueling by casting special spells on the weapon.
Sometimes in the battle of honor are involved several people from each side - relatives and friends of the offender and the offended, and then it turns into a bloodbath. Such massive bloodshed have repeatedly occurred in Madura even in the 21st century. The most famous incident in recent years, a mass carok occurred on 13 July 2006 in Bujur Tengah village, Pamekasan Regency, East Java, Indonesia, resulting stabbing and killing of seven men and seriously injuring nine people.
The tour took us to Gili Genting and the paradise island Gili Labak. It is a tiny island that you can walk around in 20 minutes but because it's not often visited by tourists, foreign and local alike, there is something special about this place. We went snorkelling, took a lot of videos and pictures and enjoyed the sun. The tour starts at 12:30am in Surabaya and finishes back in the city around 9pm so prepare yourself for a long day.
