Pabianice is a town in central Poland with about 65000 inhabitants. Situated in the Łódź Voivodeship, it is the capital of Pabianice County. It lies about 10 kilometers (6 miles) southwest of Łódź and belongs to the metropolitan area of that city. It is the third largest city in the Łódź Voivodeship by population. The area of the city covers 32.9 square kilometers (12.7 sq mi) being the 10th largest in Łódź Voivodeship. According to data from 2009 Pabianice covers 33 sq km (13 sq mi) with following split: agricultural land: 53%, forests: 9%. The city covers 6.70% of Pabianice County. Gliwice is a city in Upper Silesia, in southern Poland. The city is located in the Silesian Highlands, on the Kłodnica river (a tributary of the Oder). It lies approximately 25 km west from Katowice, the regional capital of the Silesian Voivodeship.
Gliwice is the westernmost city of the Upper Silesian metropolis, a conurbation of 2.0 million people, and is the third-largest city of this area, with 177,049 permanent residents as of 2020. It also lies within the larger Upper Silesian metropolitan area which has a population of about 5.3 million people and spans across most of eastern Upper Silesia, western Lesser Poland and the Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic. Gliwice is bordered by three other cities and towns of the metropolitan area: Zabrze, Knurów and Pyskowice. It is one of the major college towns in Poland, thanks to the Silesian University of Technology, which was founded in 1945 by academics of Lwów University of Technology. Over 20,000 people study in Gliwice. Gliwice is an important industrial center of Poland. Following an economic transformation in the 1990s, Gliwice shifted from steelworks and coal mining to automotive and machine industry.
Founded in the 13th century, Gliwice is one of the oldest settlements in Upper Silesia, with a preserved Old Town core. Gliwice's most historical structures include St Bartholomew's Church (15th century), Gliwice Castle and city walls (14th century), Armenian Church (originally a hospital, 15th century) and All Saints Old Town Church (15th century). Gliwice is also known for its Radio Tower, where Gleiwitz incident happened shortly before the outbreak of World War II and which is thought to be the world's tallest wooden construction, as well as Weichmann Textile House, one of the first buildings designed by world-renowned architect Erich Mendelsohn. Gliwice hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 which took place on 24 November 2019.

Na prośbę kolegi z kanału Kolejowy Jachu publikuję w przyspieszonej wersji (4X) film z przejazdu całą trasą linii tramwajowej 41 w Łodzi w relacji Pabianice Wiejska - Łódź Plac Niepodległości. Obecnie trwa przebudowa torowiska, jezdni oraz budowa dróg rowerowych. Linia 41 ma trasę o długości około 15,3 km na której znajduje się 30 przystanków. Trasę przejeżdża w czasie około 50 minut. Częstotliwość kursów 24 minuty. To linia aglomeracyjna nazywana podmiejską. Łączy miasto (Pabianice 70000 mieszkańców), gminę Ksawerów (7700 mieszkańców) i stolicę województwa miasto Łódź. Linia została uruchomiona w 1901 roku. Miasto Łódź to trzecie pod względem wielkości miasto w Polsce. Zamieszkuje tu około 700000 osób a wraz z miastami sąsiednimi aglomeracja liczy ponad 1000000 mieszkańców. Tramwaje elektryczne działają w Łodzi od 1898 roku. Długość sieci tramwajowej to 124 km. A comprehensive reconstruction of the tracks is currently underway. Line 41 has a route of approximately 15.3 km with 30 stops. The route passes in about 50 minutes. Course frequency 24 minutes. This is the agglomeration line called suburban. It connects the city (Pabianice 70,000 inhabitants), the commune of Ksawerów (7,700 inhabitants) and the capital of the province with the city of Łódź. The line was launched in 1901. The city of Łódź is the third largest city in Poland. About 700,000 people live here and together with neighboring cities, the agglomeration has over 1,000,000 inhabitants. Electric trams have been operating in Łódź since 1898. The length of the tram network is 124 km. Łódź has one of the longest tram networks in Europe with a track gauge of 1000 mm.

Szydłowiec, Poland Part one

Szydłowiec (Russian: Шидловец, Hebrew: שידלוביץ, Yiddish: שידלָאווצע) is a town south of Radom with 15,243 inhabitants in 2005.
From the 12th century the environs of Szydłowiec belonged to the powerful knightly family of Odrowąż, who descended from Moravian-Bohemian Baworowic family. In the 13th century the site of the present castle was occupied by a stronghold on an artificial island with wood and earth defences and by a village called Szydłowiec. The present town came into being in the early 15th century and together with the neighbouring estate was the property of the Szydłowiecki and Radziwiłł families until the 19th century.
The town flourished in the 16th and the first half of 17th centuries. It was then an important centre of trade and crafts, mainry stone-masonry based on the exploitation of the local sandstone which was easy to work. This stone was used to carve architectural sculptural elements and to make tools for agriculture. It was also a building material for the local Saint Sigsmunt Church, Castle in Szydłowiec and the Town hall in Szydłowiec; also it was sent to Kielce, Kraków and Warsaw.
The period of wars 1648-1717 and numerous epidemics and fires brought about a decline of Szydłowiec, halted by transformations in urban design and architecture which took place in the second half of the 19th century and in the 20th century.
At one point it had a population that was of a Jewish majority. It was home to Grand Rabbi Nathan David Rabinowitz (d. 1865), the grandson of Grand Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak of Peshischa, and the father of the Biala Hasidic dynasty.

However the fact that there are so many travel related films here is not from holidays but from business trips attending trade fairs around the region. Every packaging trade fair is a new excuse to make another film!

After visiting the palace, it is recommended to take a stroll through Rogalin Park.
