Highlights of our trip to Ganga choti or peak in Bagh Azad Kashmir (2020). Which is one of the top tourist attraction in North of Pakistan .
Ganga peak, more commonly known as ganga choti among locals is located in Bagh district of Azad Kashmir , Pakistan .It is 9989 feet (3045 meters) .It is situated in the Pir Panjal Range . It is also visible from Bagh city and is often called as the Crown of Bagh.
Ganga choti is approachable from Sudhan Gali and Kotla , Bagh , its four hour trek and its strenuous trek since you have to gain height at every step , there is rare flat ground on this trek .The road to the top is pretty steep. Approach is a bit difficult as the last couple of kilometers are only possible with a 4x4 vehicle with high clearance. The area can be very crowded during holidays. It is an attraction for tourists in that area.
Hike to Ganga offers view of the valley and meadows . From the peak one can have 360 degree panoramic view of the whole area The next peak higher from Ganga peak is called Pir Kanthi , which is at an aerial distance of about 10 kilometer from it .
