Pénjamo, Mexico Trip 2023
A trip to visit and meet lovely family that gave us an opportunity to make a quick reel of some of the interesting things around the city of Pénjamo.
The drone clips are mostly around the two towns in Pénjamo we frequently visited throughout the week and of Corralejo facilities nearby.
The rest of the clips are at El Jardín de Pénjamo, museum of traveling mummies near Cristo Rei.

BEST THINGS TO DO GUANAJUATO CITY MEXICO (Our First Impressions)
We travel to Guanajuato City for the first time and give you our first impressions along with a list of the best things to do, see, and eat! We start out walking to town and discover the cities' tunnels and it's school, University of Guanajuato. We make it to our Spanish Class School, La Hacienda Espanol, and then we get some gorditas Las Gueras, next we take the funicular (trolley) up to the top of the city for the best view and to visit the Monumento Al Pipila statue. Next we go to the Basilica De Guanajuato and the Plaza Gardens to hangout. Up Next is the Callejon De Beso or alley of the kiss where we get 15 years of good luck. One of our favorite spots is the Mercado Hidalgo where we get groceries and find Charamuscas! Last but not least we head to Jardin De La Union or the main square for an alley walk (Callejoneadas) from the Traditional Mexican Singers.

Qué hacer en Pénjamo, Guanajuato
Hoy te invitamos a conocer Pénjamo, Guanajuato. Una ciudad hermosa ideal para aquellos que buscan salir de lo cotidiano. Este lugar fue fundado un 12 de noviembre del año 1542. De hecho, es cuna de Don Miguel hidalgo y Costilla, Padre de la Patria mexicana, así como del amado cómico actor Joaquín Pardavé.
Este lugar fue muy importante para el desarrollo de la Guerra de Independencia… además el español insurgente Francisco Xavier Mina murió fusilado en la Sierra de Pénjamo. En 1815 la ciudad fue incendiada y hasta 1830 se reconstruiría.

Visitamos luego el Museo Casa Diego Rivera donde nació y vivió el artista.
Dimos un paseo por la Presa de la Olla y almorzamos en Santo café antes de dirigirnos al Cerro del Cubilete para visitar el Cristo Rey.
Por la noche viajamos al Sabino, Gto para visitar los tradicionales nacimientos del 24 de diciembre (navidad).

How to find the best hiking trails in Guanajuato Mexico.-Cerro de la Bufa.
This route explores the hiking trails up to Cerro de la Bufa ,a mountain with impressive rock formations and views into the city of Guanajuato. Starting in the Plaza de la Paz in the center of town we made our way through the colourful roads and up the steep alleyways to El Pipila. A short road walk along Panaramica road to the trail head.
Sometimes you need to get away from the city, breathe the fresh mountain air and lose yourself in the natural beauty.

It is located in the community of Plazuelas in the Sierra de Pénjamo, in one of its foothills, 15 minutes from the city of Pénjamo on federal highway 90 towards Piedad Michoacán. There is a detour on one side of this federal highway, where the municipal highway that leads to the pyramids begins, where, at the beginning, a welcome sign appears and presents the archaeological zone.
Note:
If you are not on the budget, take a taxi and pay the driver for waiting.
If you are on the budget, prepare for numerous buses and walking about 6 to 7 kilometers/ 4 to 5 miles like i have done.
