At Ozar we will be taking blessings from Vighneshwara Ganpati. This temple is situated near backwaters of Yedgaon Dam in which you can enjoy boating. Vighneshwara Ganpati of Ozar falls at seventh place among the Ashtavinayak Ganpati darshan. The temple and Ganesh idol are east facing and guarded by huge stone walls. Temple is in good condition. The timings for darshan are 5am to 10 pm.
We left for Lenyadri after taking blessings from Vighneshwara Ganpati. Lenyadri means caves in mountains. Lenyadri is 10-12 km away from Ozar. Lenyadri is in Sahyadri mountain ranges. They were carved during Buddha's period. Monks used to stay here so we can see various sizes of caves. One cave is the largest and used to be common hall of monks which is now Ganesh temple. Lenyadri Ganpati is also known as Girijatmaj Ganpati i.e. born from Girija (Parvati). There are approximately 300-350 stairs to climb lenyadri. Palanquin (palkhi/doli) is available for elders. Unlike other temples this temple doesn't have pillars, dome, conical roof etc. There are many monkeys on Lenyadri. When u climb the mountain be careful otherwise they can take anything from your hand and run away.
Ozar and lenyadri both are near Pune hence good place for one day visit.

Ozar Ganpati Temple Maharashtra
Ozar Ganpati Temple is a Hindu temple located in the town of Ozar in Maharashtra, India. It is one of the eight Ashtavinayak temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is believed to be one of the most powerful and significant temples among them. The temple is also known as Vighnahar Ganapati Temple.
The temple's architecture is a blend of the Hemadpanthi and South Indian styles, with a huge entrance gate and a spacious courtyard. The main idol of Lord Ganesha is made of white marble and is around 10 feet tall. The temple also has idols of other deities like Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Vishnu.
The temple attracts a large number of devotees throughout the year, especially during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The temple has a rich history and is believed to have been constructed during the reign of the Peshwas. It has undergone several renovations over the years, with the latest being in 2008.
The Ozar Ganpati Temple is considered to be a powerful source of positive energy and is believed to fulfill the wishes of its devotees. It is also a popular tourist destination, with visitors coming from all over India and abroad to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha.
