How Do Polish Villagers React To a Black Foreigner? (Social Experiment)
There is a stigma around black people when it comes to traveling in certain countries, especially in Eastern Europe. Is it because some people of colour complain about their experiences in European countries as a minority and how they think they are not treated well? In my travel videos across Europe I have been documenting my own reality of life as a foreigner and my experiences on how I engage with the local people I come across on my journeys where ever it is on or off the camera all of my encounters are the same.. My travels are comfortable and enjoyable and definitely loads fun. I do not feel like a victim or threatened because my colour when I travel. I believe this channel can educate people from an aspect that not all people of colour are always discriminated or judged, this can be seen in all my films from me showing my encounters in some of the most remote places I have visited in Europe such as, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland and England. Although I know some people are racist but for their own reasons.. What advice can I give to anyone that wants to travel no matter the country you travel to or what your colour is. Be fearless, friendly and open to learn a few phrases for interactions, because I know it takes a lot of effort for people and confidence to approach a random stranger and start a conversation and that’s what my spontaneous village travels are about - interacting with the locals and showing how life is on the outside of the big cities and towns. Watch me on this village tour which is far from a touristic location where foreigners usually don’t go. Let’s have look how the Polish people interact with a foreigner. dotąd żadne nieodkryte jeszcze polskie miasto nie zaskoczyło mnie równie spektakularnie co Radom …
Podobnie jak większość rodaków znałem je przede wszystkim z nazwy + z trefnej/najpewniej ostro korupcyjnej inwestycji w zbędne lotnisko (niestety najprawdopodobniej w związku z tym – mimo iż „twór chorej wyobraźni zarządców miasta” jeszcze nie został oddany do użytku – aplikacje nie pozwoliły nawet na start drona … przez co wyjątkowo ubolewam).
„Budowa tego lotniska to jest nowy dowód na to, że chcemy się bohaterom radomskiego czerwca odwdzięczyć za tę piękną kartę w historii Polski - miał powiedzieć Jarosław Kaczyński, cytowany przez Marka Suskiego. To za sprawą prezesa PiS podjęto decyzję, gdzie ma powstać lotnisko”
Przeznaczenie wyrzuconych beztrosko/idiotycznie środków z kasy miasta (czyt.: podatników) na kolejny nietrafiony pomysł (za który – jak to w dzisiejszej Polsce [już od 7-miu lat!] – zapewne nikt nie odpowie) mogłoby znacznie uatrakcyjnić tkankę miejską, wszak sporo tam do naprawienia.
Radom to miasto z autentycznym charakterem, bogatą historią (także tą postpeerelowską):
Radom to w końcu miasto z prawdziwymi, szczerymi ludźmi, którzy równie chętnie, co spontanicznie, dzielą się swymi doświadczeniami/przemyśleniami nawet z obcym/przypadkowym przechodniem (z „dziwną” kamerą w ręku). Jestem Im za to wdzięczny + dedykuję ten film … licząc rzecz jasna, iż nadal nie popierają żadnego (szczególnie aktualnie panującego) reżimu!

Lot balonem to było jedno z lotniczych marzeń Macieja! Udało się je spełnić i tym samym jedynym statkiem powietrznym, jakim jeszcze nie leciał, został szybowiec :) Loty balonami odbywały się w ramach imprezy Balonowy Cud nad Wisłą z okazji 100-lecia bitwy Warszawskiej.
Po ostatnim filmie o balonach nad Warszawą zostaliśmy... zaproszeni na lot balonem! Odezwał się do nas Mateusz Rękas z Grupy Lotniczej Roleski z propozycją wspólnego lotu, 15.08.2020, o 6 rano :) Serdecznie dziękujemy za zaproszenie oraz za fantastyczną przygodę!
Startowaliśmy z plaży obok Mostu Poniatowskiego, a łącznie w powietrze poderwało się kilkanaście balonów. Widoki były obłędne! Budząca się Warszawa wyglądała wspaniale. Dużym zaskoczeniem była... wszechogarniająca cisza - wszystkie nasze dotychczasowe loty, czy to śmigłowcem, samolotem, czy nawet dronem, zawsze wiązały się z hałasem silników czy śmigieł. W przypadku balonów unosi nas jedynie wiatr oraz gorące powietrze, przez co człowiek ma wrażenie, jakby płynął w powietrzu.

Ostrołęka to chyba bardzo spokojne miasto. Trochę pochodziłem uliczkami i samochodów zero, ludzi garstka. Dziwne a był normalny dzień handlowy godzina 12- 13. A w Ostrołęce cisza?!

Poland, officially the Republic of Poland, is a country located in Central Europe. It is divided into 16 administrative provinces called voivodeships, covering an area of 312,696 km2 (120,733 sq mi), and has a largely temperate seasonal climate. Poland has a population of over 38 million people and is the fifth-most populous member state of the European Union. Warsaw is the nation's capital and largest metropolis, and other major cities include Kraków, Łódź, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, and Szczecin.
Poland's territory extends from the Baltic Sea in the north to the Sudetes and Carpathian Mountains in the south. The country is bordered by Lithuania and Russia (Kaliningrad Oblast) to the northeast, Belarus and Ukraine to the east, Slovakia and the Czech Republic to the south, and Germany to the west.
The history of human activity on Polish soil spans thousands of years. Throughout the late antiquity period it became extensively diverse, with various cultures and tribes settling on the vast Central European Plain. However, it was the Polans who dominated the region and gave Poland its name. The establishment of Polish statehood can be traced to 966, when the pagan ruler of a realm coextensive with the territory of present-day Poland embraced Christianity and converted to Catholicism.[15] The Kingdom of Poland was founded in 1025 and in 1569 cemented its longstanding political association with Lithuania by signing the Union of Lublin. This union formed the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, one of the largest (over one million square kilometres or 400,000 square miles in area) and most populous nations of 16th and 17th century Europe, with a uniquely liberal political system which adopted Europe's first modern constitution, the Constitution of 3 May 1791.
With the end of the prosperous Polish Golden Age, the country was partitioned by neighbouring states at the end of the 18th century, and regained independence in 1918 with the Treaty of Versailles. After a series of territorial conflicts, the new multi-ethnic Poland restored its position as a key player in European politics. In September 1939, World War II began with the invasion of Poland by Germany, followed by the Soviets invading Poland in accordance with the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact. Approximately six million Polish citizens, including three million of the country's Jews, perished during the course of the war.[19][20] As a member of the Eastern Bloc, the Polish People's Republic proclaimed forthwith was a chief signatory of the Warsaw Pact amidst global Cold War tensions. In the wake of the 1989 events, notably through the emergence and contributions of the Solidarity movement, the communist government was dissolved and Poland re-established itself as a democratic republic.
Poland is a developed market,[21] and a middle power; it has the sixth largest economy in the European Union by nominal GDP and the fifth largest by GDP (PPP).[22] It provides very high standards of living, safety and economic freedom,[23][24][25] as well as free university education and a universal health care system.[26][27] The country has 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, 15 of which are cultural.[28]

▸ Miała być krótka historia Leszna, ale nie da się tak pasjonujących losów królewskiego miasta przytoczyć w jednym zdaniu. Jeżeli nie lubicie historii, to bez wyrzutów przejdźcie do następnego punktu. Może jednak zainteresuje Was jak ludzie z głowami na karku doprowadzili do powstania prywatnego miasta, a jeden z ich właścicieli został królem Polski.
Najstarsza pisana wzmianka o Lesznie pochodzi z 1393 roku. Była to wieś, której nazwa pochodziła podobno od terenu porośniętego leszczyną. O pierwszych właścicielach nic jednakże nie wiadomo, poza tym, że w końcu XIV wieku wieś podzielona była między trzy panny nieznanego rodu. Mężem jednej z nich miał być podobno rycerz – Stefan z Karmina w pobliżu Śmigla. Jego przodek przybył do Polski w orszaku księżniczki czeskiej Dobrawy. Pieczętował się herbem Wieniawa, z którym związana jest legenda o powaleniu gołymi rękami żubra.
Miasto Leszno powstało jednak nieco później, w II połowie XVI wieku, kiedy to Rafał IV Leszczyński uzyskał zgodę od króla Zygmunta Starego, „by miasto Leszno móc założyć i wybudować”. Mawia się, iż decyzja o założeniu Leszna miała podłoże ekonomiczne, a samo miasto nie miało prawa się udać, choćby ze względu na swoje położenie i sąsiedztwo starszych i bardziej znamienitych ośrodków. A jednak powstało i zaczęło się prężnie rozwijać prowadząc tranzytowy handel solą i produkując sukno. Ten handel przez 300 lat zapewniał dobrobyt mieszkańcom.
Niezmiernie ważna jest data powstania samego Leszna, bo zbiegła się ona z okresem reformacji w Polsce, kiedy to katolicyzm przestał być jedynym wyznaniem dostępnym dla mieszkańców Rzeczypospolitej Obojga Narodów. Około 1626 roku równocześnie powstała tu założona przez wspomnianych braci czeskich, szkoła wyższa i synagoga, a niespełna 10 lat później parafia luterańska.
Początek wieku XVII to dla Leszna okres wzmożonego rozwoju. Nagle Leszno staje się atrakcyjne i urasta do rangi drugiego, po Poznaniu miasta Wielkopolski. Poza handlem i produkcją sukna, miasto staje się ośrodkiem młynarstwa, drukarstwa i wielu innych dziedzin. Następuje znaczne powiększenie obszaru miejskiego i Leszno zyskuje nowe fortyfikacje. W jego wnętrzu odbywają się liczne jarmarki, mieszkańcy korzystają z ulg i zwolnień podatkowych, kwitnie życie intelektualne miasta. Trwa jego złoty wiek. Aż nadchodzi potop szwedzki i miasto doszczętnie płonie. Leszczyńscy nie dają mu jednak sczeznąć i bardzo szybko odbudowują synagogę, ratusz, obydwa zbory, a w 1680 roku nowy kościół św. Mikołaja, który swoim przepychem powala na kolana do dzisiaj i jest niewątpliwą atrakcją Leszna.
W pobliskiej Rydzynie powstaje siedziba rodowa Leszczyńskich – niezwykłej urody zamek, którego historię tworzyli najwybitniejsi architekci owych czasów tacy, jak Belloti czy Pompeo Ferrari. To z tego rodu – Leszczyńskich, wywodził się Stanisław Leszczyński, którego król Szwecji Karol XII w 1704 roku, powołał na Króla Polski zamiast zdetronizowanego Augusta II Mocnego. Nie nabył się jednak królem Stanisław, a Leszno nie stało się stolicą, bo po interwencji rosyjskiego cara Piotra Wielkiego, stracił koronę, musiał uciekać do Lotaryngii i Baru, a Leszno spalono i oddano pod zarząd saski.
Ze złotego wieku nie zostało nic, bo doświadczone pożarami w latach 1767 i 1790 Leszno, pilnie potrzebowało pomocy. Drugi rozbiór Polski to wcielenie do zaboru pruskiego i wykańczające miasto podatki. Sytuacja nie poprawiła się nawet kiedy Leszno stało się częścią Księstwa Warszawskiego. Często maszerowały tędy wojska, a to napoleońskie, a to rosyjskie i doprowadzały miasto do ruiny. W 1833 roku po trzech wiekach – Sułkowscy zrzekli się swojej własności i Leszno przestało być miastem prywatnym. Nie było także miastem polskim, a do Rzeczypospolitej wróciło dopiero w 1920 roku. II wojna światowa mocno doświadczyła i miasto i jego mieszkańców.

Graffiti na klatkach schodowych to problem, z którym od dłuższego już czasu walczy Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa Górnik w Jaworznie.
Na ścianach klatek schodowych, drzwiach oraz metalowych elementach przeważają napisy nawiązujące do serii gier wideo. Problem Graffiti dotyczy przede wszystkim al. Piłsudskiego i ul. Towarowej na Podłężu.
Jak poinformowała Pani Maja Trzaska z SM Górnik, sprawa została zgłoszona na policję. Osoby, które znają sprawcę, albo są świadkiem niecodziennych zachowań, proszeni są o powiadomienie ADS nr 3.
Okoliczni mieszkańcy mają nadzieję, że sprawca zostanie złapany i poniesie odpowiednie konsekwencje.
Przywrócenie porządku na klatkach schodowych będzie kosztować Spółdzielnię 9 tysięcy złotych.
