랭스의 아침은 크루아상으로 시작하고 랭스 노트르담 대성당으로 향합니다.
랭스 대성당
401년에 건립하여 1211년부터 1345년까지 재건하여 현재의 모습을 갖춘 고딕 건축물로
대성당 정문 입구의 미소 짓는 천사상이 미소 지으며 맞아 주네요
내부로 들어가니 고딕 양식의 상징인 높은 천장과 긴 복도가 눈에 들어옵니다.
496년 크로비스 1세가 생 레미 주교에게 세례받은 성당으로 그 후 왕들에게 왕관을 씌워주는 대관식의 장소가 되었습니다. 샤를 7세의 대관식에 잔다르크가 참석하였다니 더욱 놀랍습니다.
마크 샤갈의 스테인드 글라스 창
마크 샤갈이 유리 공예 대가인 샤를 마크와 브리지트 시몬의 도움을 받아 제작하였으며
13세기 랭스에서 사용 된 중세 기법 스페셜 블루를 배경으로 하는 스테인드 글라스를 장식하는데 동의했습니다
이미 크뇌벨(Imi Knoebel)의 스테인드 글라스 창
2011년 독일의 재정 지원으로 독일 작가에 의한 스테인드 글라스 창을 선물함으로써 전쟁후 상처를 치유하는 계기가 되았다고 하네요
파이프 오르간과 아름다운 장미 창을 보고 있으니 화재로 소실된 파리 노트르담 대성당이 생각나는 것은 왜 일까요?

랭스 대성당에는 중세 시대와 현대의 스테인드 글라스 창이 공존하고 있습니다,
1991년 유네스코 세계문화유산으로 등재 되었고1907년에는 역사적 기념물로 분류되었습니다
토 궁전 Palais du Tau
토(Tau)는 그리스 문자 T(tau)에서 유래하였는데 정말 T자형 건축물이네요
대주교의 궁전이었으나 대관식을 치를 때에는 왕의 거주지로 사용되었습니다
지금은 대관식에 사용된 용품들, 대성당의 조각상, 태피스트리와 금세공품 등을 전시하고 있습니다
샤를 10세의 대관식 장면,1722년 10월 25일 루이 15세의 대관식 향연. 샤를 10세의 대관식 왕관 주조물. 루이 14세의 초상화, 생장의 머리 (1260년경), 성모의 왕관, 태피스트리 전시실 등.
대성당에서 대관식이 끝난 후 토 궁전에서 연회가 열렸다고 합니다.루이 15세의 대관식 왕관에는 282개의 다이아몬드가 박혀 있다고 하네요. 진품은 루브르 박물관에 있습니다.

랭스는 샴페인의 도시이기도 합니다.
또한 분홍 비스킷은 샹파뉴 지역의 대표 간식으로 두번 구운 이라는 뜻을 가지고 있습니다 카민이라는 천연색소를 넣어 분홍색이 되었고 샹파뉴 사람들은 비스킷을 샴페인에 적셔 먹는다고 합니다.
대관식의 도시, 왕들의 도시를 떠나 샴페인의 저장고가 있는 마을로 떠납니다.

Visite de Laon et de la magnifique ville de Reims
*.....................TOPO DE LA JOURNEE .....................*
Nous sommes le jour 8 et nous visitons deux villes : Laon et Reims.
La première visite sera pour Laon, une visite improvisée car nous avons vu sur la route un panneau qui parlait d'un village médiéval et comme nous aimons cela on s'est arrêtés.
Nous avons bien fait car se fut une visite très plaisante. Une très jolie découverte.
Nous allons poursuivre par la visite de Reims, une visite que j'avais prévue. Vous trouverez sur le site peregas.ovh l'itinéraire gratuit que nous avons testé pour vous.
Que dire ! magnifique ville de Reims. Ca commence déjà par l'apparition de la cathédrale, c'est vraiment magnifique. Je le dis souvent, rien n'est mieux que de voir par sois même car même si nous mettons notre âme dans la prise de vue photos ou vidéos, ca ne reflète absolument pas la réalité, ne serait-ce que la taille des bâtiments, monuments, ou paysages.
Reims est une ville où l'on s'y sent bien, les bâtiments en pierres de taille sont superbes, les habitants très sympa, bref une journée de visite n'est certainement pas suffisante mais faute de mieux on s'en contente malgré tout. En faisant le parcours pédestre, ca permet d'en voir le principale.
Le soir nous dormirons près de Metz car le lendemain se sera la visite de Strasbourg.
