We walked from the old town to the central market here in Acapulco and spent a good few hours wandering up through the hilly market streets.
Acapulco has a very bad reputation still however we found everyone we encountered to be extremely friendly and helpful as always in these 'dangerous' places. And the best bit was the market is 100% local no tourist rubbish so we had the best time.
A few people told us to be careful but we had no issues just always try to blend in with the locals and not draw unwanted attention to ourselves!
Latin America is the best place to be for markets without a doubt ????????????????????????

My Life Living In Rural Southern Mexico In The State Of Guerrero 2021
My humble house will be shown in a separate video to be uploaded after this one.....Although most of my videos are in Spanish, I decided to make one in English just to show the English-speaking world what it's like where I live in the state of Guerrero Mexico. This video was made in April of 2021 during the end of the dry season. Everything is really dusty and dry it hasn't rained for the last 4 months not a drop the river as you can see is almost completely dry. It's very, very hot right now in most of Mexico. The hot season is April and May, not July and August like it is in the northern part of North America. I will be returning north in a couple weeks, as I don't like being here in the rainy season.
