TALLEST STATUE IN CEBU | CARCAR CITY (6th Tallest in the Philippines)
The Meditative Garden of the Sacred Heart in the mountain barangay of Can-asujan, Carcar City towers the sky at 29.2 meters (96 feet). Inside a private property of Engineer Emelia Bacus, the towering figure is arpound 10 kilometers from the National Highway. The Christ figure lits up at night and has a stair where one can climb up reaching the heart level of the statue.

SOLO TRAVEL: CEBU-BOHOL
MY SOLO TRAVEL IN THE PHILIPPINES! ????
Travelling to Cebu and Bohol without any pre-booked tours or any plans at all. Here's what I did and the places that I went to with the help of locals:
???? DAY 1: CEBU CITY TOUR
- Fort San Pedro
- Magellan's Cross
- Taoist Temple
- Temple of Leah
- Sirao Garden: Little Amsterdam
You can also go to Tops Lookout which I didn't get to do. Hired my Grab driver from the airport to tour me around as soon as I touched down in the morning.
???? DAY 2: BADIAN
- Took the public bus, Ceres Liner, to Kawasan Falls
- Walked to the falls since I didn't go canyoneering
- Took a habal habal (motorcycle taxi? lol) to Lambug beach
- Bus down to Tanawan, Oslob where I stayed for the night
Didn't get to go to Moalboal and Osmena peak but next time for sure! And I just have to appreciate my habal habal driver who took good care of me from Kawasan till I got on the bus! (Kuya Lugie - 09161684978)
???? DAY 3: OSLOB
- Whale sharks!!! Got the first boat to swim with the whale sharks as a privilege of staying at Sharkys Hostel
- Took a boat to Sumilon Island (a habal habal driver approached me after my whale shark watching and he toured me for the day)
- After Sumilon Island was Tumalog Falls
- Bus back to Cebu City plus mall hopping back in city!

- Lapu-Lapu City
- Magellan Shrine
- Karancho Beach House
- 10,000 Roses, Cordova at dawn
Contacted the same Grab driver from my Cebu City tour and he drove me around Mactan (Kuya Lester - 09260741269)
???? DAY 5: BOHOL
- Took the 6am ferry from Cebu to Tagbilaran
Someone approached me as I was buying my ticket in Cebu if I needed a tour guide when I arrive in Bohol. Kuya Fredie greeted me as I arrived (his contact no. 09156478901)
- Our first stop was Chocolate Hills at Carmen: went on an ATV tour before going to the viewing area
- Butterfly Sanctuary (Habitat Bohol Eco Park)
- Followed by Tarsiers at Tarsier Conservation Area
- Loboc man-made forest
- Loboc Ecotourism Adventure Park for zipline and gondola
- Lunch at Loboc River Cruise
- Bohol Python and Wildlife Park and held an actual python!
- Baclayon Church
- Sandugo: Blood Compact Shrine
Then headed back to Cebu City! Tip for travelling Bohol: say yes to every adventure!
???? DAY 6: CEBU CITY
Stayed at Mabolo Garden Flats through Airbnb. Highly recommended for its infinity pool, and Body + Sole spa which accommodated me on my last day. There's also a cafe in the building!

- Mall hopping
- Fly back to Mnl!
This trip was honestly so great and such an eye opener. Never knew I can trust strangers to take care of me. People of Cebu are so hospitable, and I was overwhelmed by this collectivist community treating me like family ???? DAGHANG SALAMAT!
